I have stayed at Wyndham hotels in the past. I will never again, book a hotel room, without reading the reviews. I trusted their name only because I was never burned in the past. Never again! I checked into the Super 8 Allentown Airport. This place is beyond filthy. I checked my family into another hotel after seeing the inside.
For the record, I love to rough it and go camping.
This place would be best described by saying, camping in a dumpster, full of rotted food.
If I could give zero stars I would... Rooms look nothing like the photos on the website.
Rooms are dirty and very dated. Found balls of hair and used q-tips behind the night stand. Limited outlets. There is a smell from the time you walk in. Dark and dingy. Manager is such a delight - not! Not very customer friendly.
Had reservations at the one in Texarkana Texas when we arrived on last Saturday we went to check our room and found human feces on the bed! We told the front desk about it and they said they were going to clean the room. We left and returned later on that night to find they just came in and just threw another comforter on the bed! They never took the the one off with the feces on it! Just NASTY! I will never ever book with them again! We did go HOME to Dallas after that!
The most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed into, Service is pathetic, there was dog poop outside my room for 3 day's, It took 5 calls, 3 visit the front desk to make them clean it. There's no room service, after almost yelling at the front desk, someone came with three towels and 2 linen filled in two pillow covers.
Our Trashcan is full for last two days. They shouldn't be in business.
Ok so my first day when I walked in the placed looked ok. I got my room and as I went past the bar that they advertise is open ( Wasn't open anytime I was there).
The floor had 1980's carpeting. You could smell that the hotel has smoking even though it says non smoking on every door.
I get my room and notice the wall by the mirror had some mold. I put my stuff down and checked the sliding glass door. It was unlocked so I locked it.
I went to the bathroom to wash my face and noticed the door wasn't clean. It looked like someone spilled something on it and it never got wwashed. I didn't sleep much that night. I got very stuffed up, sneezing and such. I left that morning. When I got back my key didn't work. I tried it twice. The second time I just happened to push on the door and it opened. The maid had cleaned. Y room and forgot to properly close my door. So I got the key fixed and went in. I walked in and was hit with a horrible smell. It was sewer gas or backup. They changed me from rm 140 to 142. I went in put my bag on the bed. I opened the sliding door. Note here is it took both hands to do that. I had to put the door back on its track. I had purchased a beer and decided to go outside. The area after the rooms was absolutely littered with cigarette butts. I spoke to the people that used to be next to me. I went back in to use the bathroom and when I opened the door the same smell came out. I went to rhe desk where the girl seemed irritated that I wanted to change rooms. Now I'm on the second floor. Note there were two trash bags tucked in a corner.of the hall on the floor.
I goin the room and it was cleaner. I tried using the TV but that didn't work. I opened my sliding door to rhe patio and there was 2 chairs. One cracked addirondac chair and one cushion chair that was completely falling apart. I was originally slated to stay Monday through Thursday and left day 2. The first room apparently the owner opened the sliding door to the first room and the smell could be smelled a few rooms away.
They had taken the mirror off the wall and low in behold behind that was alot of mold in and around all the plumbing behind the shower. Last I knew that's black Mold and needs to be mitigated and any rooms near it should have been blocked off until it is professionally cleaned.
The manager wasn't in when I left I had to call him back. He cancelled my reservation so one I lost all those points and free room anywhere but I still paid one night.
I emailed wyndham cares and have yet to be contacted. I took pictures of the mold without the mirror. I hope they plan to remove that place. Don't stay there until they do. P. s when I send my pictures it says must be 300 x 300. When yiu text photos androids allow them to be shrunk in sizes I can't add
Tried to deal with Wyndham after a horrible hotel experience. Microtel by Wyndham gives out room keys to whoever they want and lies about it. Police stated they are "very familiar" with that hotel…problematic! Hotel was filthy and manager/staff was incapable of everything. Thought Wyndham would back there name and deal with any issues at their hotels. Apparently they just sell their name to any idiot that wants to poorly run a hotel. No resolution and never bothered to email or call back. I had to reach out again only to get nowhere with a one night refund. Will never stay at another Wyndham hotel and will never book our families and teams there again. Sad!
The reservations department or front desk fouled up my reservation and then the supervisor Tianne at La Quinta Tucson refused to do anything about it and said she refused to check me in. The rudest experience ever in multiple states and countries. The hotel manager Dan Tratheway was never available and did not return an email. I got shunted to Customer Care which is about as bad as reservations. A Myhrell M made more excuses and when I tried to complain about her she shunted me back to La Quinta Tucson East with more excuses. When I tried to call Customer Care I got disconnected after being on hold a long time. Total rude incompetence and abuse with nothing but robot excuses. The reservation department and the customer care departments are staffed by people from other countries who don't speak much English and may not understand what is going on or what to do about it. They are puppets to save the hotels money. Some Wyndham hotels I have liked and they were helpful. It depends on the management. Tucson East La Quinta is the worst of the worst.
My family and I stay at this hotel. We did not have hot water so we had to wash up in the sick. I will never stay here anymore.
Beware of Wyndham Days Inn motel in Amarillo, Texas (medical center location). They will steal money from your credit or debit card. They stole $50.oo from me and will not refund it. I showed them my bank statement and still don't want to repay me. This proves they are crooks... for they have the solid proof from my bank ledger they over charged me by $50.oo. They are scammers! Only use cash so they will not keep slamming your card. Do NOT give them any CC #. Also beware of the broken stair cases which have yellow crime scene tape raped around them. Also the walls are thin... you an hear not only your neighbor... but your neighbors bathroom fan. Plus the loud AC units on wall under front window are very loud! All these noise sources make sleeping impossible. I had to put 3 pillows on top of my head... but I could still not make it quiet enough to have a sound sleep. Avoid this hotel like the plague!
Stayed recently at AmericInn in Moline, Ill. First mistake. However, I stayed there three years ago, and it was adequate. No such experience this time. Let me first say, the room itself was satisfactory, despite the heavily inflated weekend price. In addition, no internet, no attendance from 11 to 7. The worst part of the experience, however, was no one was at the desk at checkout. A basket had been set out with a sign informing the guests to put their key in the basket. With no official check out, I knew my security deposit would not be removed. Checked my bank statement and, sure enough, they charged me for the whole thing. Of course, no one answered the phone when I called. Also, another thing against Wyndham, is there deplorable customer service. I was given a resource number and told this would be referred to the general manager. That should have been cleared up right there and then on the phone. So, as far as I'm concerned, all Wyndham hotels are a sham. At the very least, they could prove me wrong by making this right. I realize my experience may not be indicative of other Wyndham Hotels, but until this situation is resolved, in my mind, they're all the same.
I cant believe its coming to this we have bee. Stuck here for 2 hours becasue they wont accept cash.
I have a lot to say; not sure how many characters I have to be able to tell you all the details. So I'll tell you a few things then let the pictures speak for us. We reserved 2 rooms/2 nights 7/16/21 -7/17/21@ this hotel for the price of $678.96. During check in, the male 4-11pm front desk representative (my apology for being unable to remember his name), informed us that due to Covid-19 Pandemic consequences they were only cleaning rooms for guest who made an early request and got their names on the list.
Upon entering the room, there was a musty/stale smell, then we saw the luggage holder, attempting to use the toilet we had to call maintenance right away to tighten it, so that it would not slide from side to side. The attempt to use the ironing board failed because the screw was bent rendering it unable to be used because it would not stand up. (they did bring another one that stood up but, leaned badly to one side).
Once we further examined the condition of our room, we requested cleaning immediately. The male front desk staff initially stated the cleaning crew had left for the day. I requested a discount on the room charges and indicated we would clean the room ourselves. He then sent someone with a spray bottle and a washcloth. She left and then we got a phone call from man@ the front desk stating that his head housekeeper of more than a decade said the rooms weren't that bad and he believed her over us because of her employment longevity and secondly if they dusted the head of the bed the dust would fall on the linen. To which we replied, then change the linen also. Also noted peeling bathroom ceiling paint, warped bathroom door and old furniture.
Once the cleaning crew left, they left a dirty towel on the floor, spider-webs on the desk and the curtain valance, dust on the bathroom vent, dust on the side and behind the fridge and appeared irritated that we requested the rooms to be cleaned correctly.
We learned later Friday that there was a stick behind the room windows to keep someone from being able to open them because the window locks did not lock. We also learned that the side door, that is supposed to require a keycard for safety and guest entry only; those doors could be pulled open with very little effort. The staff were informed but; the doors had not been repaired when we checked out on Sunday 7/18/21
Our thoughts:
1. Would you please explain how you get the privilege to charge customers full price for rooms, make dirty rooms become an option and then jeopardize the safety and well- being of your guest?
2. As you recover from the consequences of the Pandemic in order to continue to treat your guest with the respect, appreciation, cleanliness and safety (the same I'm sure you desire when you check into a hotel and pay full price)... Consider selling only the number rooms for the ratio of staff you have; then provide excellent service to those guest or decrease your prices to match the services that you are providing.
Things will get better for all of us. In the mean-time provide your guest the services that you are requesting them to pay for staying at your Hotel.
Thank You,
Guest 7/16/21 and 7/17/21
Rooms 131 and 133
We stayed in a Days Inn for the Forth of July weekend. We were charged double the going rate for rooms. We booked at a price and come to find out that price was per room, which we were not aware of. The room had mold and did not even have enough toilet paper for our stay. These rooms were not clean. We reached out to the hotel to be criticized by management and above. Wyndham customer service refuses to help in anyway yet their name is the one that will be dragged in the mud.
Stayed at Wyndham in Natchez, MS The room was disgusting. Booked online to get a decent price and when my husband checked us in he noticed a sign that said No Refunds. The room had a musky oder, there appeared to be splatter from toothpaste still on the faucet of the bathroom, the floor was not put down correctly and had gaps between the planks, AND, there were crumbs in the bed when I pulled the covers back, there was also a ring in the tub, apparently no one there knows how to clean a toilet. I will never stay at a Wyndham hotel again. With all the bad reviews I've just read (wished I'd read them sooner) clearly this company is only out to make a buck off hard working Americans. Traveler Beware!

At the end we were blindsided that we couldn't use the current points we had at travel lodge unless you have 15.000 points and because of that we had to take all our belongings take a Lyft to another hotel this travel lodge weren't up front with us the home keeping stuff we're rude, the wall outlets weren't working the hair dryer wouldn't work and day we would need our keys to be exchanged. And the room phone was broken, and we want the stuff they never fix the room phone never go to the travel lodge in Parisspany unless they upgrade better off at the ramada inn is 3.000 and over in Parisspany everything is working great and me personal the prices on the snack machine should be adleast 50 cent not $1.50 especially for the small items not drink machines the prices are to high for the water $ 2.75 it should be free but water
Trash, disrespectful, ghetto, rip off, high crime, drugs, dishonest, racist, nasty, dog piss, and $#*!
I stayed at the Bristol hotel, 26th June and had a room right above the main entrance, room 122. Well the standard was poor with poor maintenance, I had a broken window, which you could not shut correctly, so at night you could hear people coming/going and all the smokers talking. Tried to let reception know in morning on 2 occasions but one one at desk. You complain online and you get a standard email with no thought into it. Don't stay at this hotel.
Made a reservation@ Denton TX & this was the WORST service ever. TV, AC, Phone no work. Never again. Nasty!
Wyndham is a disgusting company! Not only are their hotels trash but so are their employees. A/C loud and not blowing cool air work, bugs crawling all over, cockroaches on the floor.
