It seemed trivago transferred my enquiry to Prestigia, that's fine, however i have not received my booking confirmation from the actual hotel that i booked, it would be reassuring to know that the Hotel itself acknowledges my booking and i would like to receive confirmation from them, NOT prestigia only.

The hotel has no record of this booking! So according to them I do not have a reservation! I tried calling Prestigia and received an AI rep who could not answer my questions and could not refer me to a real person. I need a CONFIRMATION that the room I reserved is being held.

The price listed is less than charged amount. I saw on the screen a listing of added charges, but these did not appear on the Booking statement. One concern I have is that these charges might not be paid to the hotel, and since they are not itemized, the hotel might expect that the hotel charges are the charges billed by and paid to Prestigia, and those additional charges will be expected at check-in.
It was easy to complete my booking. I called the hotel and they have received my reservation. Overall, it was a good experience dealing with your firm.

Was very easy to make the reservation, however, did not know that it was going be a room where smoking was allowed until I actually entered the room very late at night so it was too late to change. This was no clear or mentioned on the website at the time of booking. I made the mistake of assuming it was non-smoking, since almost all rooms are non-smoking in Canada and the USA, unlike other parts of the world.
Booked thru Trivago. Too early to know if it is a good experience. I will know after he trip is completed.
After I booked my stay in Waikiki through Prestigia, my bank alerted me to a possible fraud situation with them. I will call them tomorrow and talk to the Fraud Dept. to see why they warned me. Regardless, Prestigia debited by account immediately.
I have called the hotel and they do have my reservation. I will see If what I booked, an oceanfront room, is what I actually get.
After booking, I started to dig deeper into people's experiences with Prestigia, they are not good. Management should take heed.
Answer: I doubt it. I didn't get a refund when I cancelled way before the deadline for free cancellation. I have heard from no one, no one answers the phone. I was on hold for an hour and thirty minutes as " the next one in line" I gave up. Don't waste your time, energy or money on this reservation site.
