When I checked in, Wendy, the manager, told me the CC I booked my res. With was declined due to fraud (she did not try my card, I gave her a 2nd cc, she told me fraud again... no verification or proof. When a CC is declined, there is never a reason given why the card was declined When I thought about this later, I find Wendy's behavior highly suspicious. I paid cash and was told I needed a $100 deposit which I paid. I got to my room and called banks - no evidence of fraud. My res. Did not list I has 2 dogs with me, Wendy got mad when saw dogs, demanded $40, told her I would pay when I was done with banks. Wendy banging on my door, was on hold with my bank and that I would be up to the front desk when I was finished with my banks. After finding out there was no reason why my cards were denied, I told Wendy I wanted to check out, she told me would not refund my room fee or $100. I went to my car, when I came back, Wendy physically blocked me from entering my room till paid dog fee. I told Wendy now I could not pay the fee as now as my purse and phone were locked in my room. She again told me I would not be allowed into the room I paid for. I alerted police from hotel across street. Police asked Wendy about room refund and deposit, Wendy refused to give back. I contacted Wyndham, Wendy told Wyndham she kept the deposit for the $40 dog fee and said one dog left excrement in the room which is not true. Two police officers were with me as I left the room, they surely would have smelled the excrement. There were several other incidents of inappropriate, vulgar language, and threats by Wendy directed at me. Trying to get a refund through Wyndham, but not luck so far.

Wyndham Ramada Inn Seatac Airport
January 11, 2022

Staying at this hotel was the scariest experience of my life. I was with my family (older children as parents and young children. Our flight was canceled and we needed to find somewhere to stay in Seattle by the airport. We got four rooms. My daughter was assigned a key and the room she went in had a couple of people having sex in the room. Then my daughter in laws room was broken into and a hooded man was standing in the doorway. She had my two granddaughters sleeping in the bed. My son was coming late with the baggage and there was a disheveled man walking around in the hallway. My son had to stay awake all night because he was fearful of his family. The younger boys were in a room of their own right next to their parents but they were taken out of the room in fear that they would get broken into. I talked to the supervisor the next morning. She says it happens all of the time and that the people come in the back door when patrons open it and break into the rooms. This is so unsafe and the potential for an incident is scary. I will never stay at a Wyndham. I had to give the hotel a rating of at least 1 but it is a zero from me.

AmericInn Hutchinson Minnesota
January 10, 2022

I stayed at the AmericInn Hutchinson for 14 days in December! The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff at this hotel is the best! They were customer friendly, helpful, and efficient! The daily morning breakfast was very satisfying and ready to eat and enjoy 6:00 AM. The pool area was clean and the water was winter weather warm! The location of this hotel is excellent, because it is on a major road that enable one to get to Minneapolis, St. Cloud, or Mankato with ease! Will definitely book this hotel again when return to the Hutchinson area!

Howard Johnson's Houma Louisiana
December 29, 2021

First the clerk was very rude. The room had a bad odor and was bathroom looked awful.
After the first night my wife complained of itching. I decided to find another Hotel for the rest of my stay and they refused to refund me the amount. I will never stay there again and will think twice about any Wyndham property.

Dangerous and extremely unprofessional
December 27, 2021

Dangerous! That was our experience when my husband and I reserved 2 nights here to visit my mom for Christmas. When we arrived we realized this was dive but it was late for us and I understood the cancellation policy I thought as it says ( Cancel 24 hrs prior to 4pm day of arrival to avoid 1 night charge plus tax.) so we got our room and went to sleep to be awoken twice. Once by finches, yes birds at 2am. I literally had to go out of my room and chase them down the corridor to go back to sleep, another time was by a gentleman in the room next to us having a phone conversation outside his door at 3:30am. The DANGEROUS part happened when my husband left our room shortly before 5am to walk our dog. Man knocked on my door so I looked through the window, he had a food container in his had like you would hold a pizza. I said we did not order anything and he just stared blankly so I opened the door and repeated myself, told him to try next door and quickly shut the door. When my husband came back I told him about the man. He looked scared for me and stated that the guy had been wandering around the parking lot in a creepy way. Needless to say my husband and I came down to check out by 7am as we did NOT FEEL SAFE. We were told we WOULD BE CHARGED FOR THE SECOND NIGHT! What? We were even charged for our dog for that second night that we did not stay. Shame on you Wyndham for stealing from people. At least the desk lady was very very kind to us that was the only pleasant experience we had. I am not a paralegal or attorney but How does a refund policy that stats: Cancel 24 hours prior to 4pm day of arrival to avoid a 1 Night (yes 1 instead of one and a capital N for no real reason. Geesh) charge plus tax, relate to you will be charged for 2 days automatically even if you feel unsafe here and refuse to subject yourself to another night of our poor and DANGEROUS conditions? If anyone wants to try to make this right I can provide full documentation. Unfortunately after doing business with that Days inn and their refusal to refund us for the night we did not spend, we also cancelled a 4 day 3 night stay offer that we had purchased. Unless Wyndham tries to make it right we will not be staying at ANY Wyndham hotels after this.

FRESH PERIOD BLOOD ON SHEETS
December 16, 2021

The story I have is one of nightmares for anyone who doesn't realize they've slept in brio-hazard all night with their 8yo son. The night was pretty standard. Loud bangs, people talking, feet pounding and dogs barking. I was willing to over write it because well it's a hotel. In the morning at 5am I wake up and my son and I get out of the bed. I pull the sheets back and see fresh, obviously period blood dry on the sheets. You can actually see where on the stain where my skin had been rubbing against it all night. (Slightly rubbed off sheet marks) I have plenty of pictures. I go down stairs almost immediately and complain. I spoke to a woman who was shocked as I was and offered to comp everything. So I continue to get ready to leave and I approach the desk to give my key card. Start speaking to a woman and explain the story again. She starts to tell me it's from me. YES blames it on me or someone in the room. She starts to say it's wet and fresh in which case I told her NO it's fresh and DRY. Showing her the pictures. She continues to blame me. At this point I'm livid. I couldn't believe this woman. The pictures are so clear that it isn't wet or fresh from the last 5 hours at least. I tell some more and she asks me to leave. I'm beyond mad and will post this story EVERY WHERE to shame them and this UNPROFESSIONAL worker.

Wyndham corporate is of no help
November 21, 2021

Had an issue with my stay at a Wyndham LaQuinta and when I talked to corporate of Wyndham I was told it wasn't their problem. They said the hotels are privately owned and to take it up with the management of the hotel I stayed at. Really? Never stay at a Wyndham hotel, LaQuinta, Days Inn, or any others

Fraud and poor service
November 8, 2021

I arrived at JFK Far Rockaway Wingate by Wyndham At 6:07 PM November 7,2021. I booked online for a rate of $85.20 which was supposed to include all fees and taxes. When I arrived I was told by the front Desk person that greeted me that I would have to put a $50 deposit. I explain to her that online there was nothing about a deposit and all fees were supposed to be posted online. I said OK the deposit is refundable I will put the $50 deposit. I was charge $50 twice for grand total of $100 for the deposit. I showed her and said look you guys charged me $100 instead of $50. You charge me $50 twice. She said that she only charged it once but she was going to refund it. OK. I go up to my room and I checked to see if there was an iron. There was no iron. I ran the water so I could take a bath and the water was cold. I went downstairs to inform her there was no iron and that the water was cold. She told me to run the water longer. I went down again to complain about the water and then she told me that other people were complaining earlier. She didn't tell me this when I checked in. I wouldn't of checked in. She contacted the manager. The manager didn't send a plumber, or anyone to fix the water situation. I was at the hotel till I 9:23 PM and checked out due to the fact that she didn't provide me with an iron to iron my clothes and most importantly there was no hot water for me to take a shower so I can fall asleep. Right now because of them falling asleep in my vehicle. It was a horrible stay. She told me that she contacted the manager and he did not do anything. I'm waiting till 7 AM in the morning to contact the manager about a full refund of both my security deposit of $100 which was supposed to be $50, and my $85.20that I was charged for a full refund. The manager knowing the situation should've shut down the site for offering rooms and also made customers away before checking in that there was a problem with the water not being hot on the second floor. She knew this before she gave me the room so why did she check me in on the second floor knowing the water was not hot, front desk person. I will never go to this resort again and I advise people never to go there either because they're pulling scams and taking peoples money and not refunding it for lack of service. I will also contact my bank Chase to file a claim to have the money refunded due to fraud and poor service.

Untrustworthy!
November 7, 2021

On October 31st I reserved a room with Super 8 in Fort Worth for a business trip until the 2nd, $125.75. I had my kids with me. Was in an 18 wheeler accident a week before still pushing to work for my family and survive… Had an Emergency, left the room… The front desk clerk assured me that herself and her manager (entire phone conversation recorded) would issue me my full refund… I didn't even have to ask THEY OFFERED and I thought they were genuine and I'd planned to return… I thought there was an understanding with Super 8 but I thought wrong. Hadn't received it. After I called back she assured me again that I'd receive my full refund. Called Agoda, hoping they'll take care of this matter for me. They said they'll email Super 8 because they didn't get an answer in the email they sent me after I was already told while on hold (while they reached out to the hotel) by an agoda rep that the front desk clerk said she'd have to wait for a manager, a 2 in 1 lie and run around. Been reaching out to hotel throughout the day almost everyday and the manager is coincidentally never ever there… How can a business be ran without the manager being ever there? At one point they'd even stopped answering. Called from a new number, they answered. Repeating myself again to a new front desk clerk she said she'd let her manager know to respond to the email from Agoda… Days has passed still nothing. NO ONE IS HELPING TO GET MY REFUND AS I WAS PROMISED! Obviously, the "manager still hasn't responded to my email. I've submitted a dispute with my cc card company but I shouldn't have to go through all of this as a single mother to receive a refund that I was promised and that I have RECORDED! We weren't at the hotel not even an hour. DIDNT even get a chance to enjoy my stay due to my uncle having Covid 19 in hospital and passing away. I would never recommend this hotel because the front desk clerk and manager doesn't keep their word and don't care about their customers enough to keep their word to continue to receive one's business. All I want is my refund as promised. Agoda keeps emailing me and I respond but I'm getting the run around from both. I'd never use this service again nor book a room at Super 8. I still hadn't received my money nor heard from either company. I'm most definitely getting the run around and being completely ignored.

Bad policy
October 22, 2021

Our stay was good as we were traveling cross country. However, the Wyndham policy that we encountered is bad. As mentioned, we were moving across the country. We did not know how long we would be on the road per day as we have 2 small children and a dog. As we would get about an hour out from a city we would call ahead for a room. This town in South Dakota had 5 Wyndham hotels. We called each of them, letting them know we were only an hour out and would like a room. My assumption is that all the calls went to a call center and we were informed that all rooms were booked. I had a hunch and we stopped at one of them anyway and asked for a room and was told one was available. So, we were able to stop and did have a good stay. But, my questions are; 1)why were the calls going to a call center and not the front desk. 2)I was told that I could not book a room because they were "full" for booking and only had room for "drop-ins". We were between 20-60 miles from the town, so essentially we were a drop-in. 3)Why I could not get any discounts whether is was military or for being a Wyndham rewards member? Reason, I was told, is that it is hunting season. Really?

Falsely advertised- place was a dump!
October 19, 2021

Wyndham used to have a good name. We made reservations based on attractive photos. When we arrived it was not even close to the pictures and descriptions. Garbage in hallway, stained carpet, burn marks, smell of cigarettes, door to our room had big gap at lock- not secure. Air conditioning units were old and some out of commission. Needless to say, we did not stay there after prepaying a month prior. Sleezy corporate Mgmt would not refund our money. Never again!

October 19, 2021

I don't have the words express my review! I was at the days inn in Ogden Utah, and I stepped on a used drug needle, I immediately checked out, I didn't stay the night, I went to the dr to get tested of course all without health insurance, and wydham comes bk and offers me 1000 points?! Are u fu***** kidding me, not the $70 reimbursed cause I didn't stay the night, not the $250 Dr fee for no health insurance! Straight slap in the face, thanks Wyndham excellent customer service and level of concern displayed!

They deactivate your room key card a day early then give you a hard time letting you back in your room because your I.D. Is locked in. Then they tell you that you can leave if you do not like the policy while my things are still in my paid room being held hostage. They won't refund because I used priceline its a 3rd party purchase

Still Trying to Get My Swimming Suit Back!
September 7, 2021

Left my swimming suit hanging on a shower stall a week and a half ago at Microtel in Green Bay WI. They closed the next day! I've emailed, called, called again etc and no one, including the so-called customer care number. The woman from India could barely understand me. I bet my suit is STILL hanging in room 122!

This must be a scam!
September 5, 2021

We stayed at a days inn... by wyndham, in Myrtle Beach, the entire stay was a joke. The check in person charged us an additional $5.00, over what we paid on expedia, said it was to cover local taxes, we were promised a breakfast, two days earlier on the Wyndham site, but no breakfast available at the hotel. Everything smelled like a locker room, and the desk people were rude. I don't what kind of scam they are running, calling this a Wyndham, but i can promise you I will never stay at another Wyndham or Days inn. I hope this review keeps people from making the same mistake we made.
