My experience with Trip.com has been absolutely unacceptable.

My fully paid booking was canceled without any notice and without my consent. I never authorized any cancellation or modification of my ticket.

They took my money immediately, but after canceling the booking themselves, they claimed the ticket was "non-refundable" and refused to return my funds. This is completely unreasonable. If the ticket was truly non-refundable, why was it canceled without my approval?

The customer support was dismissive and provided nothing but copy-paste responses, avoiding direct answers and taking no real responsibility. Instead of resolving the issue, they simply hide behind policies while keeping the customer's money.

This behavior feels extremely deceptive and raises serious concerns about how this company operates. I cannot recommend this platform to anyone. Be very careful before trusting them with your payment.

Very bad experience.

This was my first time booking plane tickets from your site, and I deeply regret it. I booked my tickets March 3,2026, for approximately $2564 for two people. I was about to reserve the tickets, but you increased the price to $3098, and you made seat selection extra. I was forced to pay the higher price, and today when I checked your site, the same flight is $2755. This is pure fraud. I am very disappointed. I cannot recommend you to anyone. Regards Ulvi.

Skeptical and then amazed!

We were struggling to find a flight due to the Middle East conflict. At the last minute, we found one on Trip.com. We were worried because we've never used the site before. Then my wife got sick and we could not take the flight AND it was so easy to go in and see our options for changing the flight and we were able to switch it to the next day right online. I can't tell you how easy it was and what a great job Trip.com did in communicating with us! We will definitely be loyal fans from here on out! P.S. Our original airlines phone and chat still don't work!

Complete experience

I have used trip.com, basically exclusively for all of my travel needs. I started travelling around 3 years ago. My wife my use different booking agent sites. I booked rental car early 2025 with trip.com, it did state must have credit card with name, however as I have always used my debit card for rental car, I assumed (wrongly) that debit card would be okay, maybe trip.com ought to change this rule so I am able to book rental cars with trip.com? I have only ever used a different booking site for hotel 1 time & the hotel was extremely bad. Unfortunately, it was not good experience, hotel ought to be scrutinized. Flights to date have been flawless, you get what you pay for. I will continue to use + most likely recommend trip.com to others. I am sure it may be possible to get a better deal on occasions if i did shop around. However, trip.com is easy & from my experience, most options are well priced

Been a loyal Trip. Com customer for years easy to book on there app so easy to cancel bookings or change hotels etc and the money always gets refunded and returned to my bank account within 24 hours. Best prices on the web in my opinion and excellent rewards. I am now a platinum member heading to diamond. I don't bother searching for cheaper deals as in my experiences over the years Trip. Com is number 1.
