2 prior brick and mortar locations botched the lenses for my very nice set of Silhouette frames. Their prices were high and the quality was third rate - picture monkeys banging stones together bad. Lensabl showed up in an online search so I gave them a shot. I'll be a repeat customer. When you select rolled and polished edges, you actually get rolled and polished edges. And the drill mounts were properly placed. USPS can be a bit slow, but the execution on the lenses was well worth the wait.

Look, I ordered my glasses just about 6 months ago. I barely received them about 2 weeks ago. Why does this deserve a 5 star you say? Well first off, my first pair of glasses were stolen via transport. After I figured that out with my carrier, Lensabl was eager to get things going. But after they messed up my package and shipped them to the wrong person, they offered to replace my glasses free of charge. Which is something that literally MOST companies will not provide without some charge. That being said, they worked on my glasses and got them to me ASAP. That, my dear readers, is amazing customer service. If you think that's $#*!ty, you probably have no empathy and are a bit entitled to having everything going your way, which hopefully you know by now as adults, life does not work that way. I recommend this company 100x rather that going to any company owned by Luxottica Group, who charge you obscene prices for the same deal. Don't be stupid, if it takes longer, it's worth it. Don't pay $400 for the same product people.

They sent a box u put frames in box and sent couple days later boom there back with your perscription lenses

I honestly didn't know a service like this existed until I came across Lensabl website. It was just what I was looking for. I had a pair of sunglasses that I hated as sunglasses, so I shipped them off to be turned into readers that I love! I can't even tell you how simple the process was and how quickly I got them back. They were carefully packaged along with my old lenses. I'm super excited about using them again!

To avoid the exorbitant cost of complex lens I looked around quite a bit and took a chance on lensable.
They did not fail. I am very happy with the results and especially the price. I bought the inexpensive silhouette frames from amazon and I was good to go!

Original Review: Contacted customer service through the website messaging service to verify that new lenses could be made for my Oakley frames, received a quick and professional response, great! Selected lenses and option need through the site's easy to use order page for the specific lenses I wanted, added express shipping, submitted and paid, great! (did not receive an invoice through email, didn't think much about it at the time through) Received a prepaid box to ship my glasses in, great! Waited approx. 2 weeks to receive my glasses and when I open the package immediately I notice the lenses are sunglasses, not transitions which I ordered, not great! Not sure how this company can get my order wrong when the product selection process is very specific but it did but I've wasted at least 2 weeks plus the time it takes to get new lenses from this company or someone else. I feel it would have been better to get my lenses from a local optometrist.
Edit: After receiving the first wrong order Lensabl's customer service arranged express shipping to pick of my glasses for a refit. Waiting about 10 days I received my redone lens package via UPS opened the box and it was THE SAME EXACT PRODUCT THAT WAS WRONG IN THE FIRST SHIPMENT! Dealing with c/s for a few days via chat and specifically asking to receive a call (there is no listed phone number you can call to speak to a someone at this company) someone from the company's customer service called me and he discussed the issues with me. I stated I would like a refund and he offered that or to redo my order again. I opted for a refund and received soon after that. I really liked this companies ordering process, but customer service beyond chat and email should be an option when mistakes like this are made (especially for a product like Rx glasses).

Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
