Recently moved to Wilton Manors and needed an eye doctor. Like most people I used the internet to do a search reviews for an optometrist within my zip code and found several, but decided to go to World Eyeglasses because of the positive reviews and the discount eye glasses he offers. The eye exam was done with the newest technology and Dr. Enker was very professional and gave me a ton of information about my eyes. I had some not so great experiences before but this was great and will always go here for my eye vision care.
I am so happy with the level of service received from the staff at World Eyeglasses. The level of professionalism, time spent on finding the perfect frames, and superior customer service has made me a fan.

Got a really thorough eye exam here from a fantasitc caring doctor - Dr. Enker. Afterward the staff helped me pick out cool glasses that were right for me (not pushy just helpful). An overall great expereince.
I have always liked and respected Dr Enker and I will say my service has always been outstanding. I have worn glasses/contacts for years and been to several eye doctors, and I would not trade World Eyeglasses for the world. Yes he is that good! This optometrist is simply the best! I have been going to World Eyeglasses longer that I can remember and the staff and the doc are friendly and professional. It's so nice to have someone who treats you like a person and always asks if you have any questions or concerns during your visit. Whether you have an appointment, or are a walk-in, the prices are reasonable and he always strives to work within whatever budget you have. No matter if your looking for simple reading glasses, contacts, or latest in designer frames. You will not be disappointed!
Dr Enker is very knowledgeable and you can tell he is very passionate about his profession. My eye exam was very thorough and he took time to explain things to me. I didn't feel rushed; it was quite relaxing actually. I would definitely recommend this optometrist to others!
I was looking for a way not to have to spend a fortune on glasses, and he provides. He is smart and to the point. Cost of exam and lenses are less than a third of what I spent with another optometrist... Can't beat this place! It's awesome! :)
Great customer services, great product and great prices plus a very friendly optometrist. I tried on some frames initially that were way too big for my face but he pointed me to some awesome frames that I fell in love with on the spot. I ended up purchasing a pair of glasses this afternoon that I originally had no intention of buying, largely due to the customer service I received. My husband and I definitely have a new eyewear store we will be frequenting in the future!

I'm a very picky person, but was impressed with the wide variety of glasses and awesome customer service! Patience is a key factor as well as fantastic pricing. Its rare to find both in one place, here in Fort Lauderdale but you will certainly find them here with Dr Enker at World Eyeglasses.

Dr. Enker was great about discussing my eye exam with me and all of my options for my eye vision even though its not very good. He made sure that I didn't have any questions and then turned me over to his wonderful staff to pick out my eye glass frames. I got a designer pair of sung lasses and regular eye glass frames. And I was able to take advantage of tgeir discount eye wear. If you are looking for a great optometrist in Oakland Park or anywhere in Fort Lauderdale, go to World Eyeglasses and Sandy and the others are great.
I recently moved here and needed to find a new good optometrist. Searching the internet and reviews for an optician near Lauderdale By The Sea I found World Eyeglasses and read about Dr. Gary Enker. Because of his location and discounts that provide you with a cheap eye exam, I decided to go to him. The exam was quick and efficient and I was able to pick out new eyeglasses and sunglasses that I love right away.
World Eyeglasses is a great vision care center. I needed a new prescription for my contacts and the contact lenses exam with Dr. Enker was thorough and inexpensive compared to other places like 4 eyes or lenscrafters and I felt like Dr. Enker and his staff really cared about my needs and I was not just a number. I got my new contact lenses and they feel great and a great pair of prescription eyeglasses as well at a great price.
