Worse booking agency.

I booked a hotel for 2 nights for the weekend of 13 November. I checked everything at the first page of it was filled in correct, it was.
I came at the page where I had to pay, I paid. The last page was the confirmation page, but the confirmation said that I made a reservation for 28 November... so I cancelled my confirmation in the hope they could fix it and give my money back. I e-mailed them and the onlything I got was automatic response, so not customer friendly... I send them another e-mail and said that I wanted my money back for their mistake. Didn't had any response so far, but my money is gone...

Seamless trip
November 30, 2015

Just got back May 1st and had a fantastic trip at Now Sapphire in Riviera Maya. Checking in was smooth without issues. Talking to other guests my wife & I definitely got the best deal. No complaints about hoteling.com.

Site would not let me book two rooms at the same time, so I bbooked one, got confirmation through straight away. Immediately booked the second room, no confirmation received. Both amounts were taken straight out of my account. Their email contact system is extremely slow and unhelpful. Thankfully, I booked a week and a half ahead, not a day or 2 otherwise I really would have been stuck. Ended up with one room booking as they would not cancel both. Ruined my stay and was a battle that really didn't need to be had. What a woeful company and I will deter anyone from ever using them any way I can.
They deserve no stars, but I had to give one to write the review.

This Lady doesnt wanna give me my money back, doesnt wanna refund my money it's been 1 month already. They took my money and i didnt have a hote lto stay, plus the hotel had no idea about this site: hoteling.com

***STAY AWAY!

Through a Kayak link I was directed to this site for booking a stay in NYC. Although the rate posted was very good, after booking, I was informed that the hotel will have to be paid an additional $50 upon checkin. What a scam, come on, bait and switch... whatever you want to call it! This made the rate noncompetitive with other options I had. I immediately contacted the site and was told I could cancel but would be charged 20%! Outrageous! Just stay away and use one of the other mainstream sites. STAY AWAY!

Advice: never use it

Better I've reed reviews before. Was looking hotel for three persons. Found hotel, price was good, checked three times it's really room for 3 persons. Ok payment gone thru, get confirmation email and vouchers but only for 2 persons! Send them email, they told they IT investigated and there is no fault. Advice was to cancel booking thru Manage My booking, there is no option to change booking, only cancel and make new booking. Are they joking it will cost me £100, and not for my fault. It's a total robbery and scam.

Attempted to book a stay. It kept giving the wrong dates, so cancelled and rebooked. They charged $45 for each cancelled booking. We tried to email - it said invalid site. We tried to call. They of course couldn't find the booking. Then we looked at our bank statement. 3 reservations had been charged and only 1 refund. We have emails documenting 3 bookings and 2 cancellations. These reservations are a total of $660. Even if they cancel all of them, we will be out $120 because of their crappy website.
My husband just went in and did a 3rd cancellation...

I have a booking reference with Hoteling.com however on contacting the hotel there is no reservation for me on their system. Could a hoteling.com rep please make contact with me to resolve this? I have see from other reviews that a rep has been replying.

Do not use hoteling.com

I made a reservation and decided to cancel it a few hours later. The site states a maximum of 20% cancellation fee. When I went to cancel it, it states $15 refund for a $213 booking, which I took to mean i'll be charged $15, since it's below 20% - instead I was actually charged $198 to cancel it despite what the website states regarding 20% maximum.

I wouldn't have cancelled if it was going to actually charge me 20%. They can't reinstate the reservation nor explain why it charged me $198 to cancel it.

I came to this site via Kayak so I figured it's trustworthy but beware!

I was apparently re-directed to hoteling.com through another site I was on. I didn't even realize it had happened. I paid an extra $30 per night, for 2 nights, for 2 people for breakfast with our room reservation. That's right, $120 extra. For breakfast. We were staying at the Rio, and I had heard their buffets are the best, so I figured it was worth it. What I actually received upon check in was a CREDIT of $9 per person per day at STARBUCKS! Where it cost me $11 to get one breakfast sandwich and one regular coffee! Then I found out that the hotel does not allow you to use your breakfast credit on the day of checkout! So I paid for breakfast for both days of my 2 night stay, and I only got the lousy $9 Starbucks credit once! So basically 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 coffees cost me $120. I have emailed hoteling.com 3 times and they will not respond!

From Trip Advisor site, I booked a room in California. We have NO RESERVATION. I called credit card company to report fraud. They removed the charge.

Scam! Don't do it!

After reading these reviews, I contacted the hotel and they have no record of a reservation. I have contacted my bank and they have reported it as fraud. I will let you know what I am able to work out. I am also reporting this to Clark Howard, a consumer protection agency.

Unfortunately, I would never recommend using hoteling.com. I have notified kayak.com as their logo is on hoteling.com "AS SEEN ON KAYAK". This endorsement led me to trust their site for customer service integrity.

Hoteling booked me at a hotel that never heard of me, nor had my reservation in the system. Upon arrival at the airport, I rushed to this hotel to finish necessary tasks for work. Not only embarrassing and a dreadful experience, but after I was denied a room - I still had no place to stay or get my business done.

I was required to begin my hotel search over again and found a room to stay at for the next few days. This new room was 80-90% more but the best I could have done given the circumstances.

Hoteling contacted me via email hours later stating they tried to reach me numerous times, which is untrue. The email continued to read that they could set me up at a hotel I had never of and could not travel to.

Hoteling never contacted me from when I booked through my failed attempt at hotel check-in. Who is to say that even had I followed their recommendation to stay at the 'suitable alternative', the reservation would be honored. The first one was a false reservation so what faith should I have.

There business model is centered around people who do not follow up, business travelers who expense everything, etc. Their business practices are bait-and-switch based and their customer service is shameful in this competitive hotel booking space.

I am currently requesting a refund, it has been 4 days now and no budge on their end. They are very unresponsive to emails and phone.

Still trying and hopeful they will do the right thing. There are better places out there, I would recommend against Hoteling.com. All online hotel booking folk, beware.

I got scammed for US $224 for booking two nights in a hotel through this scam company, the hotel never got the reservant ion from them, I hope the credit card company will reverse the charges for service not provided! Please stay away from this company.

I booked a two night stay with hoteling.com at what was a great price. After entering my credit card details for the final confirmation I had a screen on my ipad then come up to say that in fact it wasn't confirmed and they are waiting for the hotel to come back to them. As far as I was concerned, when making and paying for the booking it was a confirmed transaction. Checked my credit card the next day and of course the total for the two nights had been charged to my card. On emailing them they told me be patient as they were still waiting for confirmations. As my booking was for a holiday date of course I wanted confirmation there and then. However, I left it a couple of days before again emailing and said either confirm or refund. Nothing was heard and then two more days later I receive an email stating the hotel couldn't confirm so they would refund my monies which in fact they did a day or so later. The point is if they haven't got the rooms they should not be advertising the availability. Even more galling is the fact that they are still advertising the same price for the dates I had chosen. I will not be dealing thought this site again.

I book a hotel room fully paid in advance. After paying for it I realized that I had no option of for selection of a non-smoking room. I called them and after 30minutes of wait they told me they can't guarantee a non-smoking room. I asked for a cancellation and was transferred to someone else. After waiting another 30 minutes they told me that it can not be cancelled.
I called the hotel directly and they said they don't have my reservation yet and has not been sent to them.

They are a fraudulent site outside of the U.S. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. I am on the phone right now with my CC company to dispute and backcharge this vendor.
