Nice hotel, great room!

I'm looking forward to a few days relaxation and visiting the falls! I reserved my hotel online. I paid for a king size bed and whirlpool! When I checked into the hotel I signed my documents and received my room keys. I went to my room and checked it b4 I got my stuff out of my vehicle. Upon checking my room I did not have a whirlpool in my room. So I went back to the reception desk and showed the lady my reservation and that I paid for a room with a king size bed and whirlpool. The lady was apologetic and said that she doesn't see that on her end and because I did it online. And said that the whirlpool room is not available (she said it was broken) so I was credited! And my basic room has been wonderful!

Do NOT trust

I booked a room through the Hilton website, but it happened to be with this company. I booked a room in Milwaukee for $700 for two nights. There is no review page before my purchase went through and then when I got the confirmation email it was only for one night and still charge me $700. I've been fighting this for months and still have not got my money back and I probably won't. Do not trust this company. They have fine print that allows them to scam you.

Update: this company has reached out to me via email twice in an attempt to smooth this out but has never called me (as promised and I even set aside time during my work day to speak with them) and has never offered my money back or anything to even remotely rectify the situation. This entirely proves that this company will comment on bad reviews to save face but will not actually do anything to solve the problem. Again DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

I have 2 reservations at the same hotel, one is
For two guests but it appears as just for one. The second reservation is for one regular king size bed, but they booked it for a special needs bedroom, which is not the case.Can you fix those two problems and contact me confirming it,please? Thanks.

# R*******761 This company is an absolute scam! Thought I was booking through the hotel, but actually it was through Getaroom.com. I immediately cancelled the booking in 1 hour. Called several times to ask where my refund was, only to be told, " there is no refund" I am absolutely furious! I paid €7.458,19 for NOTHING! I got official letter from the hotel, the letter clearly confirm that the booking number R*******761 with Getaroom has been cancelled on 9 August and the hotel has never charged anything. So the hotel said I can claim a refund. Hotels should watch who they partner with. The Mining Exchange in Colorado Springs will be getting a phone call from me. They have a partnership with scam artists.( 27/Aug Update: out of good faith, they refunded my money.)

Below issue has been resolved by customer service representative, thank you. "Getaroom charged me high service fee that I did not agree to. After receiving my booking confirmation showing the high service fee I cancelled the booking right away. However their cancellation policy does not offer partial or full refund. I contacted customer service about my situation and and have received help"

Get A Room is a SCAM!

Basicially, you give Get A Room money and they do nothing but pocket the money. You end up out of money and no hotel reservation. Rent A Room lies; they are unethical; they are scammers - plain and simple. Their cancellation fee is the price of the hotel reservation - with exorbitant "service fees." They will negotiate with you and offer you a refund of the service fees but keep the remaining amount of the reservation - even though the reservation has been cancelled. This is complete fraud and they should not be allowed to do business. There should be some recourse for consumers against businesses like this. If Google allows them to purchase ads with them, then Google is as culpable. If hotels are doing business with Get A Room and don't care about Get A Room's scamming tactics, then they are also culpable.

Room was advertised as 93 dollars. Only after booking and paying did I see a 51 dollar "tax recovery and other fees" charge. Kristen did make this rate better by knocking off 40 dollars

I thought I was booking a room with Hilton Branson Convention Center in
Branson, MO. Little did I know I was booking through Getaroom. After I had already booked and paid, I realized that over $500 of additional fees had been added. I first called Getaroom and asked it they could just alter the reservation by cancelling one day. Their answer was a resounding NO. Finally I asked them to just cancel the entire reservation, and refund my money. They just laughed at me. However, I've since learned by contacting the hotel, that my reservation has been canceled by Getaroom, but I've not been refunded my money. They wanted me to take a voucher. Are you kidding me, I don't trust them to actually give me a voucher for the entire amount. They wanted me to accept a voucher for an unnamed amount. I fell for their first scam, but I'm sure not falling for the Voucher scam. Please people, look very carefully when you are booking any hotel reservations online. Make sure you are not scammed into thinking you are actually booking with the hotel, because it mostly likely will be Getaroom, or another such scammer. I've notified my credit card company, and they have put a hold on the $1347.74, but at this time, Getaroom has not refunded my money.

No Refunds!

Took my 265.00! Thought I was booking through The Mining Exchange Hotel, clearing saying 100% refundable. After 2 hours on phone and several phone calls made, I was told " it's non refundable " even after canceling 2 weeks in advance! DO NOT use THEM!

Rating should be a -5! This is a horrible company!

Accidentally booked 2 nights stay at wrong hotel, noticed immediately, called to cancel, still being charged full amount of $835. US Dollars.

There is no recourse for even a partial refund for 2 nights stay over a month after room was booked!
