This Site is simply a SCAM. If you are travelling with family, DON'T TAKE THE RISK it's not worth the money they offer. They show less price but they hide a lot in terms and conditions section. They don't have Customer Care Representative to answer your calls.
They say Car Pickup in Airport but it's NOT. It takes couple of hours to reach the actual Site from Airport.
They don't own any car. They are just BROKERS. They deny car and ROB the entire Rental Amount.
The positive reviews looks like Paid ones because how come a company does not have Customer Care direct number can get these many positive reviews.
Once you book online your are gone. There is NO proper way to Cancel your reservation. They don't pick your calls. They don't respond to your emails.

The staff at the selected rental company were not only professional and efficient but also warm and approachable, which made the entire process much smoother and less stressful. They took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently, ensuring that all my concerns were addressed. NEVER USE THIS SITE! I would highly recommend going with a different company. I have travelled and rented cars in over 15 countries and never experienced anything like this. I paid online 2 months in advance. When arriving at the airport I was told I hadn't paid and the company had scammed me. The women at fox rentals at the airport then said I should call and cancel the booking as I've been scammed. When I called the original company (economy bookings) the women on phone proceeded to tell me she couldn't hear me and hung the phone up and then wouldn't answer the phone after. I had to pay over $800 cash from a different company at the airport for a different car. Don't think this won't happen to you, they may offer cheap prices but you're better off going directly with a company from the airport! Just to note: When I tried to review on their website I wasn't allowed because apparently my 'booking doesn't exist' even though I have email receipts and their bank details from the original booking. Awful awful awful company should be shut down!

Denied booking by Routes.ca with the reason that they don't rent to local and want return ticket. Firstly i am not local as I am visiting US for a project (more than a year). Even after booking return ticket for the same date (car return date), i was denied and I was told that I didn't have the ticket in first place. When I reserved on your website, rental company was not mentioned and Economy booking picked it up for me upon payment. As per policy, only routes.ca require return ticket but i was unaware if Routes will be my rental company. If Economy Booking was aware of this they Return ticket details should have been made mandatory on your website or booking confirmation. Request of changing rental company was also not entertained by Economy bookings. Now, they hold my money approx. CAD 400 for services i never received. Neither i received any refund nor rental car through your company. My request is to refund my hard earned money or let discuss this matter with Ombudsman.

The rudest customer service I've experienced. I cancelled a booking that was worth 702. I then booked another car which was advertised as around 250. The credit remaining on my account was a little under 300. When I called customer service to understand this discrepancy the woman said it was something to do with the policy of the car company but couldn't tell me what the price I had paid was for the car and when I asked for clarification she started talking to me in a slow, irritated and patronising voice then got angry with me and told me she needed to speak to me slowly because I couldn't understand her explanation the first time and not to interrupt her. When I asked her not to be rude she said if I interrupted her one more time she would hang up the call. What lovely people employed there. Would never use them again

I rented a car in Italy and there were some damages. I was charged for these damages as expected and got in touch with the group about making a claim. I wrote an email and got a response about the information that was required which I followed up with. I then heard nothing and followed up with another email. Six weeks have passed and still total silence. I called the customer service of Economy Bookings who told me they know nothing about the insurance. I find it strange that they're selling a product they know nothing about. She told me to contact the insurance by email and when I told her I had already done so several times, and hadn't had a response in six weeks of emailing them, she said 'they have lots of emails and are very busy'. She seemed to regard the call as a nuisance and displayed no desire to help. I would never use this company again as it's easy to rent a car but the important thing is having good customer service if something goes wrong

EconomyBookings, together with partner company Drivalia, failed to provide us with a van, pre-booked and fully paid 6 months in advance, reservation number at hand! At the day of pick-up in Milan, they simply didn't have any van...! We've been forced (because of their unacceptable mistake, and absolute lack of customer care, nor alterative solution offered) to spend 3 times as much what we already budgeted in order to rent another van somewhere else. We are asking for rightful and lawful compensation for all the losses and the financial damage caused: they are refusing it... 6 months still waiting...! SHAMEFUL! My sincere advice: DON'T EVER BOOK WITH THEM!
Two weeks ago, we arrived in Houston to pick up a rental car that we had purchased and did a pre check-in for. Upon our arrival to the rental car company, they told us there were no cars to rent (confusing since they asked us to complete the pre check-in prior to our flight just a few hours before). There were no cars in their lot or any if the other rental car lots. We were told it was due to an influx of people attending the Texans game and a national baseball tournament being held in the area. We had reserved our car weeks before but at that time it was clear they had given our car to someone else. We were on a timeline for our daughter's college visit and needed to get to our destination, so we asked about a refund. The car rental company said that since we had made the reservation through economybookings.com, we would need to contact them about the refund. We did so right away from the airport, initially, we were told to fill out an online form and that someone would be getting back to us. We were asked to submit an explanation and after two weeks with quite a bit of back-and-forth, we were told that we would need to contact the airline about getting the rental car refund. However, our flight was on time and had nothing to do with us not being able to get a rental car. We tried to explain the situation multiple times, but to no avail.Economybookings.com continues to refuse to reimburse us for the cost of a rental that we never got or never made a rental agreement with. Very unprofessional and unbusiness like. Sadly, we have learned a difficult lesson, but I would like others to know to be cautious about using third-party vendors when renting cars or making reservations. They advertise a free within 1hr of booking cancellation however I learned 2 ways they take your money anyway!
1- they do not give your money back, they only give you an e wallet credit, which you need to register for!
2- you cannot update the booking if your schedule changes. When I called to make changes I was told to cancel my booking via the app and rebook according to my need plans.
I did this but this uses your "free 1hr cancellation" you cannot cancel again or they make you pay twice!
Completely and whole heartedly disappointed that I ever got to know economy bookings. I will wait till I get to the airport to book my vehicle rental because that will always be cheaper then paying twice!
If I could give this company zero stars I would! Do not rent from this company! My flight was delayed so I ended up arriving to pick up the car late. I get to the airport & the company says that "they could not honor my car rental booking" because I had arrived a day late. NEVER EVER in my life have I been denied a rental because I showed up late. Also, this company has the worst customer service ever. I called & they told me to go to their website & contact their support page instead of immediately handling the issue. It took them WEEKS to get back to me, I constantly had to call them to get updates, the # for the US never answered, anytime I spoke with someone they were in Latvia & they said they could do nothing about it. They said that the reason they wouldn't give me a car was because I no showed and because, the #s on my cc were not raised. I did not no show & that is the most absurd thing about the #s! They gave me no refund, no credit, even after I provided documentation!

I reserved a car at Fort Lauderdale airport 9/28/24 for pickup on 10/16 at 11PM. My booking was active, my flight was early. I ran to the FOX counter to beat the line (10:15) and I was not in the system. I left the line to call Economy. The rep said that my res was active but I can get a refund. I needed a car. Back to the counter...the man pulled it up by the FOX res # and the screen showed I was canceled. He said that FOX never cancels and he's out of cars. I've booked with FOX before with no problems. I called Economy again. This rep also said that my res was active. She offered a refund. I asked to speak to a supervisor. No supervisor. I said I NEED A CAR! She said that I could request a refund. OMG! She asked if there was anything she could help with. I had a great deal so they sold me out. I looked online and none of the rental car sites had anything available.

I will never consider booking from this service and I advise you should not ever give your business to them either. I had cancelled a booking over 48 hours in advance and when credited in the e-wallet I am short 16.5% of what I had paid upfront. I am entitled through the cancellation policy to a 100% percent refund. Their agent says I have been shorted because I purchased a last minute cancellation. There is no mention in any of the emails regarding the booking about last minute cancellation. All in all, last minute cancellation charge would apply if I had cancelled less than 48 hrs.

Don't buy a full coverage insurance from this site. It is not fully covered and you need to buy a new one at the rental company.

Their email did not state the address of the car rental (only said "downtown Penrith") and when we clicked the link it took us to the hertz cars when the ACTUAL car rental place was sixt (no where in their confirmation email did it say to pick up our car from Sixt) meaning we wasted money on a taxi to hertz from the train and back when we only needed to walk 5 minutes to sixt car rentals. Absolutely do NOT recommend booking with economy bookings - what a waste of time and money thanks to their incompetence

I booked a rental through EconomyBooking and selected their "Cancel Last Minute" package, which I believed allowed me to cancel up to 1 hour before pickup and receive a full refund. However, upon canceling, I was only offered a credit, not a refund to my original payment method. This was hidden deep in the terms, and the website's language is extremely misleading.
To make matters worse, I contacted customer service to resolve the issue and requested a refund, but after over a week, I still haven't received any response. The entire experience has been frustrating, and I feel deceived by their unclear policies and lack of communication. I would not recommend booking with them unless you want to deal with misleading information and unresponsive customer service.

Booked rental and paid in advance. Went to pick up rental at my destination and rental not available. Had to rent from another company. Then had to return to airport next day and return new rental. Then pick up rental that was booked thru economybookings (EB) because rental now available. Could never get thru to customer service for EB. I requested a refund for the day I had to rent another car. Rental company said I needed to get money back from EB because I paid them for the rental. After weeks of explaining the situation to EB on emails, they would not reimburse me. Customer service is crap. It takes a week or longer for email responses. And based on there email responses, you can tell they will never give back a refund. Using them is only good if you don't have any problems. However if you should have problems, you can expect to receive ZERO HELP FROM EB. -- DON'T USE THEM, IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

On Sunday, September 8,2024, I arrived at Orlando International Airport and caught the shuttle to the rent a car site. The site is an out of the way rental office and I didn't see any cars on the lot to rent.
When I arrived to pick up my reserved rental car, I had all the required documentation. The representative stated that he could not rent me the car because he could not accept my renewed Virginia driver's license paperwork, along with my pictured driver's license.
He refused to rent me a car or refund me my deposit. I contacted Economy Booking and the company states they have the right not to refund the deposit or rent the car for a "No Show" if the documentation doesn't meet their requirement.
I requested an explanation for why the company would not accept my driver's license and they refuse to give me an answer or my refund. I had to file a disputed charge with my credit card company to receive my deposit.
Also, beware that the company charges you $10 dollars a day if you use your own insurance and there are a host of other charges, they will hit you with when you arrive at the rent a car site. In my opinion, this is not a credible rent a car company and I will never book another reservation with them.
I gave it one star because I had to give it a star rating in order to have it posted. The company doesn't deserve any stars.

Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
