When I book on line for car in Fort Lauderdale they propose me full insurance cover I took it on place the rent company did not accept to give unless I take a insurance extra cost 380 dollar up my rent. I didn t accept but didn t get the car I sent mail to economy bookings to ask refund I didn t get the car! They still don t answer. It is unacceptable! I don t ket it here.
Car was clean except for the dents and scratches run smooth it was good on gas it was good for what I needed
I booked a car and the price appeared to be about 5€/day. When I paid for it the price was about 15€/day. I immediately asked them to cancel it and they charged me 60€ for the cancelation.

I made a reservation via your website on 15th February.
Booking B******* for a total sum of 250.81 USD.
Economybookings.com charged amount from my friend's credit card.
Since i have not my own credit card with me Europcar did not accept my booking while register in desk in Tel Aviv then i canceled my reservation after 1 hour booking but Economybookings.com charged from my friend'S credit card.Since i have not get the car i have requested to get refund money back but Economybookings.com never replied back although i wrote them 3 times.
At least you can reply my mail as courtesy.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, according to T&C you agreed to when you made a booking, the refund cannot be made in this situation. In your case cancellation of the booking was made less than 24 hours before pick-up, this makes your booking non-refundable.

I am curious if anyone knows about a class action lawsuit against economy bookings? It seems like we the people should be able to sue them for their unethical business practices. If not for the money, at least to get them ordered into less deceptive practices.

I made an order with economy booking, two or three days ago. In the order, I included full insurance coverage for the car I rented, a total of $210! When I came to pick up the vehicle at the car dealership I was informed that I had to pay another $460 to get full coverage for the vehicle. It's a scandal that you don't inform me in advance, that no matter what I pay in advance and how much money I paid for full coverage, it's only basic insurance even though I had to pay more money for comprehensive insurance. This caused me to cancel the trip and cancel hotels, And in addition to everything, the clerk who spoke to me from the economy booking company informed me that they would not give a refund for the payment and hung up on me.
I understand that according to the rules I'm not supposed to get a refund, but I didn't take the car because economy booking didn't fulfill their commitment and actually lied to me.

On December 12,2022 I made a reservation. The site states that no payment will be processed until the request is confirmed. They did not confirm the request but returned with a much higher quote. Hence, I cancelled the request and immediately sent an email confirming that I cancelled the request. They processed a payment anyway, then returned the funds the next day, but withheld a cancellation fee of $67, even though I had never confirmed the request. I have attempted several times to ask for a refund of this fee. Each time I receive a confirmation that they are working on it, but then no follow up. This is for request B*******.

This company took $441 out of my account for a rental that was sold out when I tried to contact the company I was told that I have to email the company which I have and no one has gotten back to me. There is no supper visitor to talk to I'm just lose and out of my money and was told I have to wait I don't even know how to get my money back I need help

I purchased a full coverage from Economy Bookings. I had a small incident with the car for which the car rental chaged me with additional fee. After return from holidays, I submitted full coverage refund request to Economy Bookings. They responded they will look into the case and contact the car rental, but after a number of follow ups and a few months they never returned and provided the refund. Scammers.

We rented a car in Costa Rica for 2 weeks starting January 21,2023. We purchased also the full coverage because my insurance would not cover the deductible from Canada like it would in the US. It was cheaper through Economy Bookings than at the rental agency (AMIGO). However when we were signing for the car they automatically added their full coverage, no deductible insurance. When I showed him the receipt for the coverage from Economy Bookings he informed me that ONLY insurance from Costa Rica was valid. The next day I e-mailed economy bookings demanding my money back for selling me insurance that can't be used. I couldn't phone, it didn't work there. I sent another the next day, Jen 23rd. I didn't get a reply until Feb 3rd, the day before we returned refusing me a refund quoting the cancellation terms. I had no problem with the terms if I could have used their coverage. (see below for their reply)

10.4.2. If you cancel your Full Coverage policy up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled pick-up time you will be charged a cancellation fee of 18 EUR.
10.4.3. If you cancel your Full Coverage policy less than 24 hours prior to your scheduled pick-up time or after you've picked your car up, you won't receive a refund.

The company is not in the US, so they stand behind nothing. If you cancel, then don't expect a refund. If you have questions, there is no one to help. The phone number for support takes you in circles and when you finally get someone on the phone, they will only book new reservations, meaning they can only take your money. And the phone number for their headquarters? That's been disconnected. And the rental company they use in the US to make your reservation can do NOTHING. Run, run AWAY!

2nd time used this group and no support. 1st time was waiting 3 hours to be picked up by rental company, support kept saying the car was on the way. Assumed to give a 2nd chance
2nd time rental company said they were closed and left us on Christmas night with no transport. Been waiting 40 days for a refund and no on in customer service is now responding. On the night phoned multiple CS numbers. No one wanted to help. One time got through and lady just hung up.

On last week I went through economybookings.com and rented a car through thrifty rentals, because it was the best deal available. Up on arrival at thrifty at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International airport to pick up the car, thrifty informed me that unless you have a round trip ticket attached to your rental you must have a credit card, you cannot secure the card with a debit card for an in-state rental. The lady then told me to call economy and they would immediately refund my money. Getting in touch with economy is like getting in touch with the president of the United States, pretty much impossible.! Upon making the phone call it advises you to send an email to *******@bookinggroup.com. I did this, the same afternoon which was February 16th. I have yet to get a reply, and instead of refunding the money which appeared to have been done that same afternoon as of the morning of February 21st the charge has been taken out of my bank account and overdrafted my account almost $200.
They should know what those people they do business with will and will not accept, and they should not accept any payment that the rental company won't accept. They have this awesome rating not everyone has a credit card yet I have a valid good with the bank debit card on an account I've had since 2009 and the rental company wouldn't take it. It is my opinion economy bookings should know these facts and they should tell anyone trying to rent a vehicle through them from thrifty that they must use a credit card because thrifty will not accept the debit card for an in-state rental. Quite frankly it's my opinion that economy bookings does know this and they fraudulently took my reservation and money. Thrifty said I would get an immediate refund which means thrifty's dealt with this before now it's time for economy bookings to do the right thing.
Please note from the proof of purchase attached this did not come until 3:45 a.m. the morning of the 17th nowhere before paying only site did it say to rent from thrifty you must have a credit card. That is economy bookings responsibility, they're supposed to know all the information before taking someone's money that that person needs to know, and I believe they knew and fraudulently took my payment.

I had been cheated, economy booking asked for a deposit and once I reached the airport the rent a car company it was a fake offshore company who tried to rent me the car for over the doble of the amount. Till today I still don't have a refund and a claim number, and these guys are just bouncing emails saying they are investigating the case. Cheating is not doing business, is stealing money

When I reached the Telaviv airport to pick up my rental car on the 30th of December, I showed my voucher and the company told me that I didnt have a reservation. I had to rent another car. I contacted the support email of the economybookings and since then they are sending me emails time to time about that they are investigating my case. I paid for the rental car and I didnt get it, and I dont get the money for the car that I didnt get still. Is it so difficult to prove that?

Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
