"Both EconomyBookings and Hiper Car Hire Excellent"
I booked car by Internet through Economybookings 2 days before travelling to without troubles. I've reached Economybookings by phone before leaving to know some information and received treatment like every customer should receive – very helpful and kind. We were picked up at Majorca airport by cheerful mini bus driver who took us to the Hiper office. There manager greeted us with a smile and supplied us with an excellent vehicle within 15 minutes. No additional insurance as we already had an insurance which covers damage to tyres, underside, roof, lost keys etc.
Next time we go to Majorca we will surely book a car through Economybookings and hopefully pick it up at Hiper.

Was really surprised to see all negative comments. Had a wonderful experience with this company several times. Rented two times in Italy and once in France. Great service, excellent prices. They deal with largest companies all around the world - Hertz, Avis, Budget, Alamo, what could possible be better than renting a car from a large international, widely known company for a better price than directly? Definitely would recommend economybookings.com to my friends and all the frequent travelers!

I had a beautiful trip to Italy last month. Rented a car on the website economybookings. I was surprised with range of the cars offered. Though, it said that i would get the desired car or similar i've got exactly the model that i wanted. All the operators spoke fluently in English and told that they have Italian speaking operators as well in case i need one. I've been to Italy for the second time and it was much more comfortable with the car than with the tourist bus, which we used previously.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM! They do not refund anything if you cancel your booking. They are a scam. I cancelled my booking with them almost three months ago and they still didn't refund the 330EUR they owe me. I now contacted my Credit Card provider and they have to make an exception to the usual 30day rule - you can usually only dispute a payment 30days after your purchase. Economybookings must know that, which is why they keep you on hold by telling you they will pay you.

For travelers:
Be careful when booking a car abroad thru e-mail intermediating companies of reserves. Recently through the Booking Group (economybookings.com)I booked a car in Zagreb and when I got to the agency to picked it up the car they had for me was much smaller than what I had booked and did not fit my luggage.
Result: I lost the booking fee that was charged in advance, plus a lot of time. The Economybookings did not refund me erguing that the car was of the same group, what is false because the company would provide a similar or higher car in case of the impossibility of providing the booked car.
The Economybookings directs you for rent a car unscrupulous companies as they are.
Do not take risks - in all airports, there are dozens of rent a car companies and you can choose and negotiate prices, see the car and get exactly what you want without the risk of traps as the Group Booking. There is no advantage in using intermediaries such as Economybookings.

A bunch of thieves stay away, this website is fraud and this rating here must be from them signing under different names, i tell you about my experiense i paid $900 to get a car in Jordan for a week supposedly it's from Dollar Rent A car, i get there nothing is reserved eventhough they charged my credit card, and the car that Dollar wanted to give me is a $300 a week, Dollar don't even have any of the cars these people listed on their website, rent a car from Expedia or Dollar website directly. These people charge your credit card and they don't reserve anything for you. It's a fraud website what else can i say, worst experiense ever.

If you don't mind receiving a notification that they have cancelled your reservation (even after paying), and being stuck without a car, then go ahead and book with them. We got stuck in Rome (and a crappy hotel -and the added expense) simply because they promised and didn't deliver. I will never book from them again.

I received the following message the morning I was scheduled to pick up my car:

Dear Mr...,

Your reservation for a total sum of 219.17 for Rome Airport Fiumicino, Italy has been cancelled.

If you did not request this, it may have been cancelled for a number of reasons:

1. Booked car is not available and we don't have any alternative proposal.
2. Short time prior arrival and we can not proceed with confirmation with our supplier.
3. Because Booking Group was unable to charge a deposit from your credit card and you have not logged in to change your credit card details - or something similar.

Dear Customer please Note, you are very importnant for us. Please contact us by email *******@bookinggroup.com and ask about alternative proposal.

We try hard to find solution for you.

I used the same credit card to rent a car from Maggiore!
