I have written literally 2-3 reviews my whole life. This experience was absolutely one of the worst I have had, so I wouldn't be doing my due diligence if I didn't warn people.
Prior to my trip I made an online booking which included prepayment of $300, with $45 leftover to be paid upon picking up the car.
When we arrived at AddCar (the rental company) in Orlando airport, they denied having received the prepayment through economybooking. Furthermore, they wanted to charge us an additional $585 in fees and mandatory insurance, as well as a $200 security deposit.
In all our years of renting cars we have NEVER been required to purchase insurance as our own insurance has coverage already.
We got economybooking representative on the phone to speak with Addcar agent, who refused to do so. As a result, spent hours dealing with this fiasco late evening after a long travel day with no resolution. We were not about to pay triple the original online price, so we canceled with them and went to Enterprise instead. Was able to get a car hassle free for $200 However we wasted $300 on this company that we are unable to get back. We requested for refund but their response was that we did not cancel prior to pick-up time, completely ignoring the fact that the entire problem occurred at pick-up!
After this nightmare, I will only use reputable American companies. Clearly economybooking and their affiliated rental companies are taking advantage of foreign tourists/ people who don't know how things work in the US and they need to be reported and shut down.
Do not use this 3rd party company to book your hire car. Their Full Coverage & Roadside Assistance option was worthless at the rental car counter, we had to pay for it again to get any coverage. When we asked for a refund, they refused. What looks like great pricing is not avoid this company, worst rental car experience we have ever had!

They offer free cancellation - but when I needed to cancel they did not refund my money, but put it into a "E-wallet" and tell me I have two years to use it.

Big scam, do not use them along with the other names they go by, Zizgo, nextcar, etc.
Booked a car from MIA, went to there off site airport from a shuttle, and they required unrealistic requirements to use your own insurance, so they make you use there insurance that is completed overpriced, along with the toll fee requirements. Not worth it, go with a reputable company

Fully paid for a 9 day car rental. Arrived on time with all documents, but did not get a car. Their reason: "You need a flight ticket". This requirement was not stated when I paid for this booking.
Additionally, EconomyBookings refuses to refund - even after the rental desk itself proposes for EconomyBookings to refund me.
Hence EconomyBookings appears to intentionally obfuscates, in order to pocket payments from customers (that are 100% profit for them).

I booked through Economybookings.com and ended up stranded with my family of six (including small children) because our flight was delayed and the rental office they chose (Priceless Car Rental) was closed. There was no shuttle service or staff available to help, and we had no choice but to rent elsewhere—at additional cost. Despite explaining the situation, Economybookings.com refused to provide any refund or acceptable resolution. Their rigid policies and lack of empathy made a stressful travel situation even worse. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I had to cancel my reservation and the full coverage protection which was refundable before 24 hours of car rental but they charged me the full amount with no excuse l!

This company is a complete rip off. DO NOT USE they will steal from you, I ordered a car 24 hours prior to pick up. When I went to the rental agency (Hertz) they knew nothing about my reservation and the vehicle (7 passenger) was not available. I had a large party and needed the larger passenger auto. All SOLD OUT, I reached out to Economy Bookings within an hour to resource with a different agency or cancel. I couldn't talk to anyone, all I could do is email. All they kept insisting was that I didn't give then 48 hours notice. I couldn't, I ordered 24hours prior to pick up. In the end they refused to resource and refused to cancel. Thieves,

I reserved a car for June in mid January and less then two weeks later cancelled and ended up with a credit towards a future rental. I never saw anywhere on the site that I would not get my money back (Im sure it's in micro print somewhere at the bottom of the site) but the site does clearly states you can cancel anytime so I assumed (my mistake). I could understand if it was closer to the trip time since this could affect there rental season for mid summer but come on! 5 months before doesn't affect anything for them. So now I'm stuck with a 400.00 dollar credit. Since I haven't rented a car since 2003 I can't see me using this in the near future. Maybe I can put the credit in my will for my kids. If I use my credit I surely will never use this booking site again.

They do not disclose the full and detailed cancellation until after purchase. They will only refund to an E-Wallet for credit used for future booking with them and them only. But, they promote 100% full refund until 48 hours before pickup. Bait and switch, con artists.

Recently booked a car rental through EconomyBookings with Thrifty Car Rental at Jacksonville, Florida airport. Upon arrival, I was denied the vehicle because I didn't have a physical credit card, even though I provided a valid foreign passport. The booking was paid for using a debit card, and the confirmation email did not clearly state that failure to meet this credit card requirement would result in forfeiting the payment.
Despite this oversight on their part, I was not refunded, leaving me with no car and a significant financial loss. Customer support was unhelpful and did not take responsibility for the poor communication regarding such a critical requirement.

Terrible Experience with EconomyBookings – Do Not Recommend!
I had an extremely disappointing experience with EconomyBookings. I booked a car rental, but when I arrived to pick up the car, the rental office was already closed—even though I had confirmed the hours of operation beforehand. Despite arriving within the time frame, they refused to provide me with a vehicle, and worst of all, they kept my money.
It's incredibly frustrating and unprofessional that they couldn't accommodate me, and they didn't offer any solutions or refunds. I ended up stranded without a car, and they completely ignored my concerns.
If you're considering booking with them, beware—they don't seem to care about customer service or ensuring that their policies are actually followed. I will never use their services again and would recommend avoiding them at all costs.

Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
