Similar to other reviews I purchased 'Full Coverage' and car was damaged. Excess was changed by rental company, after multiple emails to the customer support team I'm yet to even receive a response.
While the rental itself was smooth, I truly hope the Full Coverage I paid for is not a scam.
Update - After 5 months I confirm it was not a scam, I finally got responses and I received the insured amount accordingly.

Very disappointed with my car renting experience. First, they weren't transparent about the rental facility being offsite and not being located in the airport. Found this information in the fine print when I couldn't find the rental company at the airport. Secondly, when we got to the offsite facility, they informed us of all these "mandatory fees" that nearly tripled the cost ($288 to $800). Finally, the car was dirty and sounds like the engine is going to explode every time we drive the car! Needless to say, you get what you pay for and I would never use them again.

I have prepaid 100 eur for the car, came to the airport with small child and the company, which was mentioned in the booking didn't see my reservation. So they just didn't picked me up at the airport, I didn't want to speak to me. After several tries to call support of Economy bookings nobody wanted to help me, the persons were unfriendly and just sugessted to find another company and rent a car there. I stand there in the late evening alone with 4 yo child, it was very dangerous and unpleasant. They ruined the first days of our vacation, and we had to reschedule our plans.The next day I contacted the support center and ordered them to immediately transfer my money back to my account. Since then no feedback except the automatically reply. It has been a couple of weeks already. My reservation number was Ekaterina Weinhappel B*******

Absolutely disgraceful company!
My flight to Pisa was delayed by 2 hours which saw our arrival time land in Pisa after 11pm. The shop closes at 11pm which I'm OK with. The following morning I came back to the airport to collect the car and was told my "Voucher" had expired. This company ROBBED €230 of my money.

I PAIDED ONLINE AHEAD OF TIME. THE BILL WAS $137.34, THEY EVEN SENT ME A CONFERMATION EMAIL WITH THAT EXACT TOTAL BALANCE. I HAD TO PAY HALF UP FRONT. $66.37, THEN OTHER HALF ON ARRIVAL. ONCE I GET TO THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC FROM THE UNITED STATEDS THEY CHARGE ME ANOTHER $205.90! WHICH WAS MORE THAN THE PREVIOUS TOTAL. I ALSO GOT FULL COVERAGE ISSURANCE FOR A EXTRA CHARGE BECAUSE I WAS TOLD IT WOULD PREVENT PAYING A DEPOSIT. OH NO... THE DEPOSIT WAS ANOTHER $251.37... SO MUCH FOR A $134.37 ONLINE RESERVED RENTAL CAR... I COME HOME AND TRY CALLING ECONOMY BOOKING AND NONE OF THE OPTIONS FOR ASSITANCE WORK? I KEEP CHOOSING DIFFERENT OPTIONS AND IT KEEPS GOING BACK TO THE MAIN MENU FOR OPTIONS?

I bought a full coverage insurance through economy booking and during the one month rental the car got scratched. The rental office wanted me to pay $150 which I did and when I asked for the money from the economy booking they kept running around, I am still waiting.
I did send all the proof and paperwork.

One two book with economy booking you can't modify or cancel your booking. I've tried to cancel my booking 20 minutes after and there's no way to modify or cancel it. I had to call my credit card company to sign a number to contact them. Once I contacted them they told me to send an email to the company and couldn't help me any further. So some random email is supposed to help me get my money back? What a scam. I have disputed this through my credit card company I didn't use their booking.

The car was very dirty, I accepted it as it was marked on the paper Received car dirty, the rent amount was charged while booking online but without checking the information the agent charged rent again well receiving the car. He charged twice for the rent and the refund amount is still pending, his name is davind when I spoke to him, he was mad at me saying first I should know how to speak Georgian then he will behave and talk with me normally. I got so angry the money was charged from 3 cards including deposit and he was rude saying he will behave if I speak to him in Georgian when I asked for explanation. The agent was too rude and doesn't know how to even deal with the customer politely. Clean pic is also been shared to show before and after

The only problem was not having the car I want and downgrading. But it was a great and easy return process less then 1 minute
Was 24yrs old when i rented their automatic car in UK, contract did not state that i am unable to rent, however i would need to pay a young drivers fee at the counter of hertz which i gladly agreed. However, at the counter, hertz admin lady says that company policy is strictly no bookings for automatic car below 25 years old. I called the economybookings on the spot and she herself was unaware of this policy too. She even spoke and tried to convince the admin lady to carry on with the rental contract, all to no avail. She then recommend me to make a request for refund. However it has been 2 months coming 3, economybooking have constantly denied any wrongdoings and insist that the refund can't be proceeded. I cannot believe that a "well-known" company like economybooking will result in such sly and dirty business method. Highly not recommended to rent through 3rd party co like this.

I received a premium experience economybooking.com while in South Africa and I will recommend them and use them again in the future.
We had the absolute WORST experience with Economy Bookings. Booked a car in Rwanda in the beginning of this year and:
- Got a car which was at least 20 years older than the one we were supposed to get. So the car lacked any of the facilities that a car >2010 has. Besides that, it was severely damaged.
- Besides the fact that there "wasn't any other car available", the car we got wasn't ready (although we had an appointment). It took 3,5 hours before we could leave, because the car had to be checked at a garage and after that, we discovered that the airco was broken. If we hadn't discovered this, they would have sent us away with a broken airco. Like the employee said: "you guys come from a cold country, so you are already used to the cold and can't feel the airco anymore". Like I said, it turned out to be broken and took an hour to fix.
- When we contacted Economy Bookings to discuss our bad experiences, we had to wait very long periods/had to take many attempts to get any reaction. If we hadn't persevered in our attempts to gain contact, I doubt we would have heard something from Economy Bookings. When we finally heard something from EB, they didn't take our story seriously, kept evading our questions and kept sending automatic replies.
NEVER AGAIN. And we would strongly advice other people against booking with Economy Cars.

Do not use this service. We were totally ripped off.
We paid for full coverage for a week trip in Italy, so when the car got some marks from hail (super common in Europe) we thought no problem because we have full insurance coverage.
BUT in their small print they write that they don't cover harm caused by "natural disasters". They also don't cover harm to the car by drunk driving, which is completely understood, but hail?!?!
The car rental company charged us £2000 for the damage!
We wrote them tens of emails, asked to speak with someone, and there is no response, only an automatic "sorry it's not covered".
ALL other insurance companies cover damage by hail. Unfortunately we learned this just now.
Stay away from these scammers!

No point booking to secure a car if when you arrive they claim the car is not there, better off going there on the day to see what is available.

Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
Answer: A complete shambolic company that cons people out of money!
