I did a last minute booking online and I was pleasantly surprised I was able to get an affordable price at such short notice. The car I got was in great condition and was clean with a full tank of petrol. It was super easy to navigate through the booking website and the staff responded really fast to all my questions via text and email. I opted for the after hours pick up and drop off since I was arriving and departing Auckland outside their normal operating hours. Everything was smooth sailing from the moment I was picked up in a free shuttle from the international terminal. Esther who was the shuttle bus driver from Aeroparks was really friendly and dropped me off right outside the international departure terminal. The only negative aspect was the yes rentals representatives had really strong accents which made it difficult to understand them over the phone. I felt really bad I had to ask them to repeat themselves on several occasions. Apart from that I would totally recommend this service if anyone is looking for a good affordable car.

I don't know where to start, firstly the customer representative is very rude. The gave me a worst car and I complained the same to them immediately but they never bothered and stated if you want you take or go ahead and cancel the reservation but we will not refund the money. The person is always on call and never looked like helping the customer. They are also charging mark up prices and fees that are not mentioned in the rental.

I paid online to book and they would not give me the car because I didn't have the right type of card while I paid online with this car. They would not refund me aswell

Arranged a vehicle prior to my flight to Cyprus for £174.92, £65.87 was taken as deposit with the balance due on collection. On collection I was asked to pay for the rental in full and which at the time in Cyprus was £199.36. I explained I had paid the deposit but was advised full payment was needed and the deposit would need reclaiming as it's seperate insurance. This has never been refunded therefore the car in total cost £265 not £199 as expecting. Beware when using this company

Please do not go for it, they are big scams that deduct money from people. Their website is not updated and displays wrong information with a lot of hidden charges.

Need asap reimbursement for Booking B******* $274.56. New booking B*******
A) U-Save car rental Waited for 30 minutes in hot sun before picked up.
B) Staffs: rude, suggested to rent somewhere else if weren't happy with $27.50 to return the car before opening hours. Reservation specifically for returning at 6 am.
C) Need refund for "full coverage", which U-Save refused to honor and said to contact Economy for refund.
D) Dirty, dents and scratches car! Representative didn't want to mark them on report, had to insist but still didn't do it until I started to record the condition of the car.

I am very unhappy. There was nowhere on the booking that said it was in USD, there wasn't even a summary for PayPal. I immediately sent an email ( 1 minute after confirmation) requesting to cancel and was advised that I would get $25.00 of the $150.00 charge back.
I have had no further correspondence from this company after almost 2 weeks.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.

If there was a lower than 1 star i would select that.
The car company did not have their booking on the system hence i was forced to pay for it. On claiming a refund, these guys kept delaying for months and finally replied back saying that because i did not pickup the car on time, they cannot issue a refund which is untrue because i was there on time. They pivoted to avoid having to refund back to me. I am yet to check with my bank but i think they orchestrated to delay response so that i surpass the period in which i can reach out to my bank.

I made a reservation through economy bookings for a rental car in Italy. Once I arrived, they charged me extra for possible damages and was told that I'd get it refunded. After my trip I fly back to my country, and I check and they charged me another $200 on top of what I had paid.
Better just to use Hertz or other larger rental companies. The customer service was not helpful, takes them 2 weeks to respond via email. I got ripped off.

Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
