I was charged twice to rent the car! Economy booking charged $75.02 and at the end of booking with them I paid $12.02 then when I go to get the car, I had to pay the car rental place what they wanted for renting and get the insurance and the deposit. I knew about the insurance and deposit prior to going however, economy booking just rented me a car that was not theirs to rent and charged a booking fee and the only thing that economy did was call a local car rental and make a reservation for me and it cost me $87.04. The reservation for this vehicle tool place inline in July, 2023.Yesterday, upon arrival for The reserved item in Guatemala City I saw how these people work.Price quoted $189.00 with them taking $77.00 upfront for being the middle man. Real price at pickup, $340.00 SCAM. I walked away from them,proceeded to contact Economy Bookings,guess what they never answer the phone.The phones.just a system or pre recorded messages. No option to talk to anyone. Now I have to chase them down for a refund. Their online system which took my payment does not recognize my booking. Real pro's, who block your every attempt to contract them. My next move credit card company. They don't deserve even one star.

My experience with EconomyBookings has been deeply unsatisfactory, especially concerning their full-coverage option. I sent a detailed email requesting a refund and received no response whatsoever. To make matters worse, the company lacks a phone number for immediate customer support. Their failure to communicate or provide any form of assistance has led me to believe this is a scam. I booked a car and paid and then they cancelled the booking the following morning. I didn't check my email so I only realised about the cancellation after I had taken a 60euro taxi to the airport only to be told that don't have a car and the booking was cancelled. A call would have been better as not everyone checks their email when on holiday.

So I used a PayPal debit card to book my rental car. Flew in to Atlanta just to find out they don't take it. I'm stuck and can't talk with a person and try to get a refund. I'm so frustrated

The booking process was fine. I needed to amend it. There are charges for that. Not so with other companies.

We booked a 4 door Toyota and pre paid the majority of this. When we arrived at the dealer (Klasswagen) they had no record of the initial payment and offered us a 2 door Fiat which we had to pay for again in full. Economy Bookings has not responded to emails asking for assistance and provide misleading information on their website (such as car size and cost).
Buyer beware.

Booked car took deposit told to pay difference when collecting car. Taken in mini bus to a truck stop away from airport.The company eaisyrent would not let us take car without putting £2900 deposit down or pay extra £205. Left abandoned in dublin with 3 children at midnight. Happened to the 2 other people there at time and also Happened to a friend week before. Rang economy for refund and can only get it via email. DO NOT USE

No passado mês de Março aluguei o carro para umas férias em IBIZA. O aluguer foi para o grupo de carros mais barato por 8 dias. Aquando da reserva, sugeriam para adicionar um seguro para ficar mais descansado.
Qual não é o meu espanto, quando vou recolher o carro no Balcão da GoldCar no aeroporto que me indicam que teria: Ou de deixar uma caução de 1100€+97 euros de taxas e que por cada cm de riscos na pintura do carro cobrariam 300€ de reparação e não assumiam o reembolso total da caução...Ou pagava um seguro de 300 € para ficar descansado. Ou seja. Um carro que aluguei na Economy Bookings por 290 € ficou no total em 590+97€ de taxas! Um roubo!

I rented a car for my parents on 14th of august 2023 and their flight got delayed, i contacted the car rental office in the airport they arrived in to let them know about the delay but they said that Economy Bookings cancelled the booking with no notice and no reason. I paid 200€ and been trying to contact them since, they responded once and told me to write an email to request a refund and i wrote several emails with the flight details and delay details, i got no response ever since, DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING FROM ECONOMY BOOKINGS, they ripped me off 200€ and there is no possible way to contact them, i recommend everyone to book straight with the car company DO NOT BOOK WITH ECONOMY BOOKINGS EVER THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF FROM YOUR MONEY. If economy bookings see this i am a student and still in need for a refund ASAP or you will hear from our lawyer.

We walked into the Las Vegas office around 8:30am to a friendly greeting from Paulette. She was very efficient and helpful, the vehicle we chose (Ford SUV), was smooth and quiet and the pricing was very competitive. We travelled to Los Angeles and dropped the vehicle off at LAX at 8pm. Again we were greeted by friendly and efficient staff and within minutes were on a shuttle bus to our terminal. Overall outstanding experience!
EconomyBooking make sure to show you "cheap prices" in order to attract customer to do the reservation from them.
In car rental, the show prices without full insurance packages, when you start to add them price increase dramatically and the worse is that full insurance package is not really full and when you take the car they inform you it's recommended to add their full insurance package! Which eventually make you pay double.
Do not use them or other 3rd party agents. Just rent directly from the known rental car agencies and take their insurance packages.
They won't refund you, they will smear you with laconic answers. It's just not worse it.

I arrived at the airport at 11pm, I thought the Rental car company Centauro would have an office there, wrong, there was no office, I called twice, very annoying, long calls, they said they would send someone to pick me up, nobody came, I lost my check in time at the hotel, I had to spend a lot with a taxi and booking a last min place in which I only arrived at 3:30 am, I lost my night and the day next. It was a nightmare, I didn't get any refund, still waiting to hear back from them.

Rented a Van through Economy Bookings with Bargain Rentals and it was a great experience! They people at Bargain were extremely accommodating!
Great value and great service. Great communication with staff on phone, too.
I feel the price was terrific and will use this firm again. It was our 2nd time with them.
Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
Answer: A complete shambolic company that cons people out of money!
