I wanted to book a car for 3 days. The cost of the car was 88,9€ and I would pay the money the moment I would get the car. I had to pay a small amount of 8,89€ in advance just to book the car. I paid and I also have the proof of payment from my bank. This company not only DIDN'T send me a receipt but also when I arrived to pick up the car there was NO BOOKING in my name. I know it's a small amount but I don't understand why they are so UNPROFESSIONAL and I paid money for NOTHING. In addition there was no number to call and no email I could write to.
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING.

We rented a car a few weeks prior to our travel on June 25th. I thought it was very weird that they had us pay in full up front. I have never had to do that, all car rentals put a hold on your card and it is paid in full upon the return of the car. Thinking this was sketchy we opted for the cancellation insurance. Our flight was delayed and then ultimately canceled after 10 hours to "rescheduled for the next day we called the number on our receipt ALL DAY Long to notify them that we would hopefully be arriving on the 26th now, never reached anyone nor heard back from them. Then on the next day our flights were delayed and we called a DOZEN more times, at 1st we were worried that if we got in late that we would not be able to pick up our car but we never were able to contact anyone. Then our flight was canceled again, When we realized that we were not going to get to Denver and had to cancel our whole trip we continued to call about the car so that we could cancel. We called the CO # *******301 but NEVER SPOKE with anyone nor heard back. We eventually found an email address and canceled again there too. We got a email reply saying that cancellation was confirmed but the cancellation fee would now be the entire amount of the weekly rental even though we left dozens of messages and paid for a cancellation insurance policy. Our credit card has now been charged and we have since canceled it. We refuse to pay full price for a car rental that we never even rented and will report this to BBB and everywhere we can. In all my many years of travel I have never seen any company charge full price for a cancelled car rental. And they apparently do not have a Customer Service department This company is a total scam.

I had a car booked in Atlanta through ECB and when I showed up at the Budget counter there was a very long line and hundreds of people waiting around. 30 minutes went by without the line moving and a rep from Budget came out to the line and announced "We have no cars available and will not have any available the rest of the day. All reservations have been cancelled. Contact your traveler provider to get a refund". The crowd was shocked and we didn't know what to do. I called ECB customer service and they said I needed to send an email to their customer service. I said but I am stranded in Atlanta without a car and I already paid for one on your website. They continued to tell me I would have to send an email to customer service. So, since then, I have sent countless emails to customer service and filled out their online help form MULTIPLE TIMES and STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE! This whole situation is so stressful and frustrating!

This is a complete scam. We booked through Economy online. Paid 400.00 dollars. Then it said we would owe only 350 when we pick up car. This would give us full coverage insurance. Well we have no coverage and owed 1450.00 plus the 400 that economy got from us. Beware of this company on line it's just taking your money.
Very bad... after you rent the car online, you get the papers that tell you that you need to Pay more. We needed to pay around 290 euros more, or 1100 for insurance. On the paper was said. With pickup 0.00 has to be payed, but it was fake and did not get our money refunded

I contacted them on arrival in Florence the 20th of august for a car rental. I was told I could book and pay through them with my debit card and pick up the car at Hertz and then at Hertz I would have to provide a deposit, as usual no problem. I ask them if I could use my debit card or cash and they said use the same card.
When I got to Hertz an hour later they said I couldn't use the card I had payed the 443€ and said I need a credit card. I only had my debit card with me to Italy so it ended with Hertz telling me I can't get the car, they can't help me with a refund and them telling me to call Economy bookings. I called them and was told they cannot help me with a refund. And that I have to contact some other email address and that it could take up to 28 days to receive an answer!
The nightmare ended with me paying 443€ for nothing, and me paying an additional 300€ for taxis.
Dishonest, not helpful customer service and 743€ poorer with no car for my family. I understand mistakes can happen, but I asked them specifically if I can use same card and they said yes. I trusted them but got ripped off. Only after I made the payment I received information that credit card is a must have and not debit card.

I CANCELLED MY BOOKING 20 MINUTES AFTER BOOKING IT AND WAS ADVISED THERE IS A CHARGE OF 60EU TO BE DEDUCTED FROM THE REFUND. THIS IS 18% OF MY PAYMENT TO THEM. ALSO WAS ADVISED THE NET REFUND WOULD BE PAID WITHIN 20 BUSINESS DAYS-- IT IS NOW OVER 30 BUSINESS DAYS AND THEY DO NOT ANSWER MY EMAILS DEMANDING THE REFUND. THE REASON I CANCELLED IS THAT THEIR PRICE WAS OVER 25% HIGHER FOR THE SAME CAR AS THE NATINALK CAR RENTAL COMPANY WITH WHICH I RENTED. THEY APPEAR TO BE SCAMMERS AND I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN.

I am very upset about the awkward business running by economy booking.com in Austin Bergstrom International airport Texas USA. I booked a rental car through economybooking.com by credit card and paid 608.24 dollar including cancellation fees for 12 days from 18/07/2023 to 30/07/2023 pickup and drop-off Austin Bergstrom International airport Texas USA in my booking. It was mention that pickup and drop off at Austin Bergstrom International airport till 12.00 pm I went to Austin Bergstrom International airport Texas to pick-up my rental car there was no car so I call customer service they told me go to easirental company office industrial blvg area which was 20 minutes away from the airport,I went there were 5 people already busy with customer service person. When my turn came I present my digital license.cedict card and passport,they not accept my digital license and cancel my booking immediately after that I ask my refund the easirental company office person told me call economy booking.com customer service about refund, I call them they did not listen and told me send email to customer support service, I wrote them and explain all story about my rental car.they reply me that I did not present original license, no money in credit card and not shown passport.whereas economy bookings.com debit my credit card if I have no money how they debit, I have passport and credit card physically unfortunately the easirental company office person did not see my credit card and passport. I did not violate the laws. According to my booking cancellation fee already I had paid. On which ground the economy bookings.com not refund my money. They did not provide me rental car and also refusing to refund me.
I wand my refund because I did not enjoy the easirental company rental car.
I have send many email to customer support service and also BBB. They are all refuse to solve my genuine claim.
Finally, how can I trust on economybooking.com they are debiting the money with out providing a rental car service. I want Justice and warn all my friends donnot booked rental car on line because they are not providing a rental vehicle service.

Cheap booking but the company that I booked with charged me an extra $265 Euros because I wasnt aware I needed an international drivers license that would have cost me like $20 back home to get. A heads up would have been great.

Initially, it was £85 for 3.5 days, which was slightly cheaper than elsewhere so I decided to book. No add on's but after paying deposit, price had nearly doubled. NEVER again

When booking using any other site than the actual rental site, always use PayPal, and if that is not an option, don't do it. My license was suspended, and I did not know, so I could not get my rental; yet when I called in, no one could help me with my refund. They gave me an email address, and 3 days later, still no response about my refund. They stole my money.

I rented a car in Malta Herz with Economicbooking.
The e-mail mentionned no other condibution. Thé insurance was incudeed.
I had to pay 32,6 euros for insurance and the invoce from Herz mentioned an amont lower than I payed!

Booked a car for hire to drop off at 9pm which was an option available when making the booking request, two days before the rental started they contacted me to say I had to drop off by 5.30pm or they'd cancel the booking. This wasn't an option for me as wouldn't be back in time to do so, they then refused to accommodate dropping it off at 7am the following morning.
No interest or genuine attempt to find a solution, all they seems to want to do was cancel the booking. Useless, avoid avoid avoid

I cancelled my booking with economy booking within 24 hours after learning that I had yo get to NY quickly because my mother was placed on hospice. Not only would the company not offer entire refund, they have not refunded ANY of my money after three weeks.

I book a car with the total price being 359.51 euro. I pay the prepayment amount (25.05) to confirm the booking, but when i got the voucher the payable price had raised up to 348.59. I inform immediately the reservation desk but had no answer for 3 days. I resend them the issue with all the necessary screenshots and they answer me that the reservation was completed! Nothing about the hided fees they applied to the total price of the car. I continued sending emails, but no answer. After 10 days i asked them to cancel my booking and return me the prepayment amount, as i had free cancelation, but again no reply.

Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
