The auto shop had no idea when we would get a new computer for our car so we looked into this and it was painless. Typed in the vin and they quickly sent me a new one. Plugged it in and boom it worked perfect!
My purchase was for a 2004 dodge ram. Works good now and got rid of my check engine light. Simple install. My new issue is that now my cruise turns off above 60 mph. Also the exchange/warranty policy is crap with the speedy return being mandatory to keep the warranty. Not everyone has the time to jump on projects. The product itself works great and was an easy switch out.
I had such an excellent time response. I received my part fast and was able to fix my truck in a timely manner.
The delivery came right on time. The computer was the correct one first time. The computer work as expected. Would recommend this company for your cars computer needs.
Purchased a car computer from Car Computer Exchange for a 98 jeep installed computer as per their instructions. Jeep started up right away
I received a reprogram computer and install it on my truck and I am now driving my truck successfully thank you guys for your service
Timely service and expedited shipping. The part ordered and installed was just as listed in the description.
ECM from dealer was on back order. I called to ask about the exchange process through car computer exchange. They didn't have one in stock so we sent ours in to be repaired. I filled out the form on what it fit and what was wrong. I was told they would test it and if nothing was wrong they would charge to test and send it back. If it showed a problem they would fix it and return it with warranty. They called to ask the same questions that were on the original order form. No further contact happened until we got the computer back and it had the same problem. When I called for tech assistance and told him what was wrong and what we had done for testing he said ok. How would you like to proceed? I was a little shocked but responded with " I would like a computer that works". He indicated it wasn't his vehicle or his decision ( like its not his problem). He said they didn't have another one so they would refund us and hung up. That was weeks ago and have not heard or received anything. When I call tech they just hang up before anything is said. I have sent multiple emails as outlined on their answering machine for warranty.
Very fast delivery, well protected packaging and clear instructions and packaging for return. Mechanic has worked with this company in the past also talked very highly of them.
It was easy all you had to do is look at what you have and then order the same thing giving them all the information they need
The part I ordered works great and my car is running better than ever
My computer came quicker then expected and I liked how I had to give my vin number so it was an exact match.
Come to find out the computer wasn't the problem but I kept it anyways. It probably needed changed out in my 99 Durango.
From ordering to starting my truck rgere could'nt have been an more simple process. I am very certain my 9 year old grandson could have read and followed the instructions for instilations. It really is aplug and play computer.
Everything went smoothly and the part worked perfectly. Highly recommend Car Computer Exchange
Great service, I received the desired computer and it arrived within 3 days of replacing my order.
Thank you
Answer: No, they sent us 2 non-working ECUs and I had to file a complaint with the credit card company to get my money back.
Answer: It would be easier to give a full grown lion an enema.
Answer: There are only really two ways to reach this company. The first way is to call the number and ignore all other menu prompt options and just press 1 for sales. It's all they care about. Otherwise you will be listening to elevator music for thirty minutes before getting dropped out of the system and calling back. The other way is to send an email and wait two to three days for a poorly typed one sentence response that doesn't fully address your issue, and this will go back and forth for a week until you finally get somewhere. Good luck and Godspeed. The other
