Booked two king bed rooms on line. On arrival both rooms had been given to people who walked in. No refund or comp was given or allowed by their policy!? We had to stay or lose money, we stayed in two rooms with full beds FOR THE SAME PRICE we booked the king rooms on-line (BS). Never to return, the location was Tifton GA. Old, dirty, pool closed (green algae filled) etc. Worst customer treatment ever and member of Wyndham Rewards wasn't worth a damn thing except a higher price than other sites advertised for same room. Date of stay was 07/16/22. Confirmation #s *******ED******* / 42. I will no longer use Wyndham Rewards or their hotel chains!
If I could leave zero stars I would.
Before staying here, and paying your money, insist that one of the staff walks down to the room with you and inspect it for cleanliness.
My saga begins back in April of 2022. I had booked 2 nights at the Super 8 in Mendota, IL for the 8th & 9th. I read all of the Google reviews, good and bad, and balanced them. I figured with 10 years in the Army and having stayed in sketchy lodgings before, that it couldn't be all that bad. I was wrong.
I checked in and upon getting my key walked down to the room to check it out. Dark, dingy, musty, but survivable. Checked for bedbugs. Nothing, +5. Noted that the chair (from early 1970's) had a huge stain on it, (-2) ok, not planning on sitting, just sleeping. Peeked in the bathroom, ceiling tiles falling down (-2), but again survivable. Appeared clean. At +1, ok.
I went out to the car and got my stuff. When I got back, I had to go to the bathroom. I lifted the cover, noting a nasty stain in the bottom of the bowl. Eh, ok. Being male, I then lifted the seat (-20!). NOPE! Immediately went and washed my hands. The bottom of the seat had pubic hair and fecal matter all over it! I was almost instantly sick and I do not get grossed out, remember, Army, so cast iron stomach, and I have a medical background, but none of it helped here.
I didn't even use the toilet. I gathered my stuff and went to the desk to check out.
I told the guys working the desk the whole story and that I would like a refund of my money. One, who said he had cleaned that room took the key to investigate. When he came back he said the things that I claimed as fecal matter were actually cigarette burns. REALLY?! On the BOTTOM of the seat?! They then stated that they could not issue a refund, that they would have to have the general manager contact me and that she would have to authorize it.
No matter what, I was NOT staying there. So, leaving with a promise that I would hear from the GM, I went and stayed across the street.
Today is 7/22/22. Over the last few months I have left numerous emails and voice mails on all means of communication with the hotel. I have yet to hear from the GM. I have contacted Wyndham Customer Care numerous times but to no avail. They state they cannot issue a refund because the individual hotels have that responsibility. The best they can do is tell the hotel to contact me and offer reward points.
Given the fact that I will not be staying at any of their properties in the future, the points off is worthless. As far as the GM of the hotel contacting me, fat chance.
I only gave one star because I can't give zero! I travel full time for my job and stay in hotels 5 nights a week.
I spent the night in a Wyndham in Atlanta. I checked out after a 1 night stay and several hours later I was contacted by the hotel and was told they found evidence of smoking in my room. "I DON"T SMOKE"
They extorted me to pay them $100.00 and said if I didn't pay they would suspend my CLC Lodging card and block me from booking hotel rooms. PURE BLACKMAIL!
I will never stay in a Wyndham Partners Hotel ever again.
PLEASE PICK ANY OTHER HOTEL CHAIN AND PUT THESE BASTARDS OUT OF BUSINESS!
So I remember when Wyndham hotels and resorts was a quality chain and that name meant that you were pretty assured of a pleasant stay on your travels. Apparently that is no longer true. We booked a room on July 4th weekend to visit Gettysburg PA. I was looking for a room with two Queen beds and a pool for the boys. The woman on the phone had availability at the Super 8 in Chambersburg, PA and it had both requirements. We got there and the room was acceptable, clean and no bed bugs. When we went to the pool at about 8 pm, the boys and I were goofing around and not really paying attention to our surroundings. We headed into the pool... NJ asked why he couldn't see the bottom and Riley asked why the water was green. I got us all out quickly, and we went to the front desk to get towels to shower and get the nasty water off of us (there were no towels in our room when we checked in). The desk attendant said that she had only one towel for the hotel and it would be 30 minutes for more to dry in the dryer. When I explained the situation, she went into an unoccupied room and got us 2 more (3 towels for 4 people). We headed to the room to shower, there was no soap. The boys went to the front desk to get some and reported back that the desk attendant wouldn't even talk to them she just tossed them the soap. I went up to speak with her after that while Nick was on the phone with Wyndham. Today is over two weeks later and no-one has reached out. I called today to speak with a Wyndham supervisor and she talked over me, reprimanded me because I didn't inform them before today of the rash I got that evening, and just referred me back to the hotel. They are taking no responsibility at all and told me that they have no control over the hotel since it is privately owned.
I explained to customer service representative on day of our arrival, hotel room was disgusting! CSR for Wyndham wanted us to reserve another room at different hotel and pay for room. Customer solutions for Wyndham was closed when I called Wyndham Customer service. I was going to go complain at front desk, but from reviews, they aren't pleasant to deal with, so I chose to call Wyndham. I thought by booking through Wyndham a reputable business, we had a nice room, however that is not the case with this Days Inn. We had just drove from Louisiana 700 miles to see my mother in hospital, and to come to a room that was in this shape only added to the stress of a parent being in hospital. The walk up to room, nasty garden beds, walked passed maintenance rooms disgusting, trash was everywhere, went past laundry room which was nasty and unkepted, stairs up to room falling apart and disgusting. So walk up very unpleasant. After seeing the disgraced walkup to our room, we walked into our room, there was some kind of substance from maybe bugs or blood splattered all over room includes lampshades, (pictures to follow) bugs in light fixture in bathroom actually killed a roach in bathroom, Cobb webs, AC didn't work properly, only one lamp worked, plug to dryer had some nasty substance on it, fragrance plug-in disgusting. I didn't sleep at all that night, even had bug bites in the morning. I'm highly disgusted with our stay, and the more I think about it the madder I get. I truly didn't expect Wyndham to have places in the shape such as this Days in.
I'am requesting a full refund due to everything I have stated above. I would appreciate the consideration for full refund. I will follow up email with pictures that are labeled, and believe me this is only half of what pictures I took. I'm really disturbed about the substance that seem to be splattered all over the entire room. To see that, enlarge spots on pictures of walls and lamps.
Update: rcvd EMAIL NOT PHONE CALL, from front desk return 10% of our stay from hotel, INSULTED US EVEN MORE, especially when I paud $98 for this disgusting room. Called Wyndham again to only be offered 3000pts and then be hung up on by csr supervisor. So here we are... Pictures. I have about 30 more pictures, but would not allow me to add. Wyndam, should know what they are putting their name on. Did not get any satisfaction for the terrible experience by either BEST WESTERN BROOKSVILLE FL hotel or WYNDAM
Soon as I got in my room(109) I checked it for bedbugs n roaches. Sure enough! When I moved the fridge, a nest of about 30-40 roaches started scattering up the wall. I go ask for a different room, Jahan puts me in room 108 next door.As I'm in room 108, the security guard, Walker, literally KICKS in my door like he's the SWAT team demanding to see my receipt. I was surprised, scared for my life thinking someone is about to rob or kill me, and takes over 15 minutes for me to stop shaking. I tried to tell him I got moved but he didn't wanna hear it,"LET ME SEE YOUR RECEIPT!"Is all he would say.At this point I'm disturbed, pissed, all of the above! We start arguing, we eventually go up to the front desk where Jahan tells him he forgot to take room 108 of the list of rooms to investigate if ppl are sneaking in vacant rooms. As the security guard sees he's wrong, he tells Jahan, THE FRONT DESK ATTENDANT, to put me out and ban me, and Jahan does it. This was unprofessional, dangerous, and any other horrible word to describe this. Jahan needs to be fired for listening to the security guard and the security guard needs to be fired for kicking in a guest's room who pays their hard earned money to stay in.
Room and linens were not thoroughly clean. Hairs amongst clean linens. Hairs stuck to walls in bathroom. Bathroom door was cut to fit around the tub. Breakfast sucked big time yet was inclusive. When asked they said its because of cut backs from the owners. Hair dryer not working. Chain lock on door was hanging by one screw. Noisy. Poor internet connection. Sounds as if staff is not happy as the new owners cheap out on everything. W8ndow ledge had mold and I have allergies. Not much sleep due to people slamming hallway and outer door next to our room. Beds were terrible, we could feel every spring in the mattress and the list goes on. Messaged corporate and they say someone will contact in 48hrs. They did via email. Then sent another rmail adking me to list the issues to which I did. Its been 2 weeks and nothing...
First off it is 4th of July and my anniversary and I have to come to this nasty place I expect my money back or I will be seeing a lawyer. I called this morning and said hot tub was working and of course it's not pool area very contaminated with feces and mold. I have mold and dirt everywhere in room and I ordered a suite that supposed to have a door but didn't. I couldn't drive all the way back to Ohio and nothing else available. Will not recommend to anyone oh I also found a bug in my bed. I have pictures and not happy people are just lazy Robert and Sarah follis Ann arbor michigan
We were ejected from Days Inn Ocean Shores, Washington because the owner thought I was Mexican. We filed a complaint with Wyndham Supervisor Samantha, she told us they would take no action with the owner of the hotel. We never even were able to check in and they still charged for the full reservation. They will not refund our credit card.
I travel for work and learned very quickly to stay far away from any Wyndham owned hotels. I've ran into bed bugs and roaches a 2 different super 8 hotels. The days inn I stayed at they gave us someone else's room at 1am! My dog wouldn't go in the room, police were patrolling. Ton of drug addicts there it was just very horrible experiences. I can't understand why Wyndham would put their name on such nasty places... I will never stay at one again, I'd rather pay 50 to 75 bucks more for way better...
Until tonight I had a good image of Wyndham hotels. Our stay in a Baymont by Wyndham in Davenport was absolutely disgusting. The building is run down, the pictures on the Internet were not accurate. The lobby was not clean, it would be better to say what was clean... nothing. We had a reservation at another Wyndham hotel later in our trip. Not anyore or ever again.
I have a family emergency almost 1200 miles away so I booked a flight 2 arrive faster. The airlines offered 2 help me with a room & rental car so in an effort 2 save time I agreed only if I could specify the company of each buisness. I requested an Enterprise car rental & a Wyndham hotel because I am a member of both & these r companies that I trust 2 be up 2 my standards. Turns out that Enterprise is giving me points 4 my reservation so I called Wyndham Rewards 2 ask if I would get points 4 this stay. When the repressive answered she gave her name, which I misunderstood 2 be Katie, I began 2 ask my question & age very rudely interrupted me 2 correct her name... it was Sadie with an "S" she informed me VERY RUDLEY I apologized 4 the misunderstanding & continued 2 ask my question... she looked up my reservation & proceeded 2 further degrade me by saying that I could NOT receive point 4 this stay because I booked it cheaply thru booking.com. I did not, I booked thru my airlines & requested a Wyndham property. She hung the phone up on me. I called back & spoke 2 a very nice representative named Jazell (may not be spelled right) she gave me a number 4 customer care 2 report the 1st representative. But when I called that number, another man named Juan was short with me but polite... he said I had 2 write an email 2 complain & I didn't have a pen 2 write down the email address so he asked me 2 call back when I am more prepared 2 write down the email. Well there's at least 1 nice person at Wyndham. I sure am regretting all of the money I have spent at Wyndham properties over the years because they sure don't appreciate their customers at least not me. I could have gotten a much less expensive Choice hotel, wish I had went that route. But I only booked the 1st night since my plane comes in at 10:15pm, I will be in this area setting family for 4 other nights. Bet those won't be at a more expensive Wybdham hotel with rude representatives that don't appreciate my hard earned money!
No remote for tv
Dirty floors
Dirty bathroom
Rat in the swimming pool
Blood on the sheets
DONT STAY HERE!
They only offered me 30% of my money back off of $192
No breakfast
Phone in room doesn't work
Staff very sweet but DO NOT STAY HERE!
We paid $636.95 for 3 nights in Wyndham hotel in Gettysburg, PA for a room that did not have microwave, refrigerator and working WiFi. The room with 2 queen beds was equipped with 1 (one) chair, 2 decaf (no regular) coffee bags, 4 cups with 2 lids. Empty wrapping paper from a candy bar was laying on the floor. Price did not include breakfast, that could be ordered for additional $15.00 per person. Swimming pool was crowded throughout the whole time of our stay and when I went there once at 9:30PM there were no clean towels left. Hotel has 3 elevators but, on many occasions, we had to stand in line to be able to use them. The hallway on the 6th floor did not even have working A/C and the air was hot and stuffy. We have Blue Membership card but just because we booked the room via 3rd party website, we could not collect points! My advise is to stay away from Wyndham Hotels as we definitely will never patronize them again!
The hotels are drug and rat houses and the timeshares are unavalible for 13 months if you want something like Hawaii or Monterey
My first hotel was the super 8 in Grants NM. Dirty, run down and in need of TLC. $97 total for the night. Next Ramada in Santa Fe. Nice, clean good quality. $154. So while I think before you put the Wyndham name behind a hotel you should check it out.
Less than 1star. Horrible place. Poor management. Speak up get something done bout it. Https :// chng. It/T7x7sCFNwf
Owner stay away at all cost. Been an owner for years constantly changing contract lingo. Constantly changing and charging more for less. Do yourself a favor and move on to AirBnB. Your free of all the BS...
Travelodge Casper Wyoming - 2325 E Yellowstone Hwy
YOU SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED TO EVEN RENT THESE ROOMS.
I WOULD LIKE A FULL REFUND. HALF THE PLACE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION, (NO MENTION OF THAT WHILE MAKING RESERVATIONS). TOTAL SKETCHY PART OF TOWN. THE ROOM IS GROSS!

I have reached out to Days Inn and Wyndham Rewards 4 times in the last month and have received ZERO resolution! Next step, after posting my story on EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA SITE, will be to go to my local media and expose these thieves for what they truly are. I have several contacts/connections to mainstream news media and will be telling my story to them. I will also be contacting the BBB to alert them to the questionable actions of this hotel chain.
Here is what happened:
Bag of garbage left in middle of my room. When I brought it up at front desk, nobody seemed surprised and nobody cared. NO apology or explanation given.
Staff does the minimal amount of work to still be considered working. Nobody was ever at front desk. Requests for any kind of service had to be made multiple times before anything was done staff is lazy. Manager is a sarcastic prick who mocked me and my concerns and finally and most disturbing of all is that a staff member CALLED ME A LIAR TO MY FACE.
