Purchased what was supposed to be row one tickets that ended up being general admission for 4x the price. Vivid even acknowledged that this was misleading, but refused to refund the tickets several weeks before the show.
NEVER, EVER use Vividseats. They lost a customer for life anf I hope after you read this, they will lose more!
We require our sellers to accurately label their ticket listings, to ensure our fans know exactly what they will be purchasing. If your ticket listing didn't mention "general admission", "GA" or "SRO", please DM us on social media so we can investigate. If they did, please note that sometimes a row will be given strictly for inventory purposes. That doesn't mean it has an assigned row, though, because general admission means there are no assignments. That explanation can be found in the FAQ on our site.
I own a venue called Forte Jazz Lounge in Charleston SC. We've had people come in with tickets purchased on Vivid Seats site. Without our consent or knowledge, Vivid Seats copied our seat map, posted some of our shows, represented our policies inaccurately, sold tickets to our events and on top of that have refused to answer any email or chat or claim any responsibility via phone. Not sure what to do here. But I consider this company to be a scam. Because the patrons have had no malice, I allow them to enter the show for free. Vivid seats pocketed revenue that should have supported ours and the musicians' hard work.
Bought tickets 3 months before event. 1 week prior tried to download tickets and received message Oops they were accepted by another email. Contact customer service 4 times. They claim I have the tickets in an email. I asked how I could prove I don't have tickets - the rep didn't have an answer. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they don't take calls. They claim to have a buyer guarantee, but I don't have tickets and I won't be refunded.

I bought 8 tks for an NFL Football game in KC and the tickets were a resale through ticketmaster and once vividseats had my money, I was required to go through ticketmaster to access my tickets in my ticketmaster app. I did receive the tickets with working bar codes BUT, due to them being sold through ticketmaster from the original owner to vividseats, it does not allow me to download them into my apple wallet. Once I get to the game, if the service is terrible due to the crowd, I may not be able to access and use my tickets that I spent over $2,100 for and will not find out until game day. I was told by ticketmaster that I would not be able to download them into the apple wallet due to it being a 2nd part sale and they said they couldn't do anything about it because I bought through vividseats. Vividseats told me they couldn't do anything because they were originally ticketmaster seats and vividseats just handles 2nd party sales and they could not do anything but also admitted that they do not disclose this situation of not being able to download their tickets into the apple wallet due to where the tickets originated. The vividseat customer service person was aware of this and admitted that this is not disclosed on their website and they do not offer a refund because it's ticketmaster tickets even though it is vividseats who took my $2,100 plus. Ticketmaster said they could not refund since I bought through vividseats, what a joke. I'm left with 8 tickets that I paid over $2,100 showing up on game day hoping I can access my tickets with such a large crowd jamming up the service on my app due to our venue being paperless. Wish me luck!

Purchased two tickets for $1000 for the Suns vs Nuggets NBA game 2. The seats were obstructed behind the camera and camera operator. When purchasing the tickets, the description DID NOT mention the obstruction. Also, prior to purchasing, the seat numbers were not provided. We were required to stand the entire game in order to see the court. I contacted Vivid seats by phone twice, then three times by email to request a refund for selling tickets with an obstructed view that was not disclosed. They would not stand behind their 100% Buyer Guarantee. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR!

Vivid seats added 25.00 to the end of my order. I immediately requested a refund and vivid seats denied. Actual products like a car or groceries become used or damaged immediately, but there is no damage to a ticket, its nearly the pass to go to an event. Their business model is dishonest and unjust and probably was illegal 10 years ago. Vivid seats gets more bad reviews than anyone I have seen. I require an immediate refund plus interest.

I purchased tickets for Pixies in Denver, Colorado two months in advance and they never arrived. I called the day before the event, and was told to wait until 24 hours before the event, because sometimes tickets don't get released until then for security purposes. That night, I still had no tickets, so I called again. A retransfer was initiated, and I was told I would receive the tickets within a few hours. The next morning arrived and I still had no tickets. I called again and was told to continue waiting. At this point I lost all faith in this company and bought tickets through Seat Geek instead. Those tickets were delivered within a matter of hours. Vivid Seat's tickets still never showed up. I called the next day to get a refund, and they are now refusing to refund because their seller confirmed the ticket delivery. I don't know where those tickets were actually delivered, though, because it certainly was not to me. Terrible company. I will never be buying tickets through them again.

I attempted to purchase tickets online and it would not let me. I called vivid this morning and spoke with Chris M who is one of the most helpful customer service rep I have ever spoken to. He was patient with the 3 different purchases I needed to make and helped me determine the seating arrangement we needed. He kept me informed of what emails I would receive and explained the process not only to me, but to my aunt as well. He will 100% be my point of contact for any future tickets needed. THANK YOU!

Horrible experience they don't tell you that the markup, service fee and deliver fees is a 41% markup.
It took 2 hours and 13minutes to get my parking pass. "no refunds" they have your money and they don't care...you buy the ticket from VividSeats and they they transfer the ticket through a third party like Ticket Master...If the e-mails with VividSeats don't match Ticket Master then you are SOL... Other issues that took Customer Service? A long time to resolve...poor processes and procedures at VividSeats...:"no refunds" they have your money...and you don't have a ticket...plus their service fees on a parking pass at $41 dollars winds up costing you $59 dollars...a 43% markup...
Avoid this company at all costs.

I attempted to purchase playoff tickets for the Denver Nuggets online and was ready to purchase the tickets. For whatever reason, all I could confirm online was the seat section and row, not the actual seats! As I didn't want to sit in one seat and have my wife sit in a seat two or more away from me, I called the ticket company to make the purchase. The individual, Jamie, was very helpful and confirmed that the seats were together, and I purchased the tickets through him! If not for my experience online, I would have given a five-star rating on my experience. If the rating was based on just my online experience, at best it would have been two stars! With Jamie, it was five STAR!
