HUGE SCAM

I just bought 4 tickets at $282 each. With fees, the total came to $1662. I hit payment and I was invoiced $11,257! I tried a thousand times to recreate this scenario and find tickets at that price, even in the front section and nothing. Tickets in the same section I purchased are still selling in the 2-500 range. Vivid Seats says I knew what I was buying. Absolutely not! THERE IS NO WAY I CAN AFFORD THIS OUTRAGEOUS PRICE TAG. What a scam. Never buy from this site. I wish I had read the reviews. I would give negative stars if I could.

Headed to a concert. Decided to purchase online. I googled it and vivid seats is what came up. The parking was $80. I made the purchase thinking this was how you had to pay. We get to parking garage. Parking was $40! I payed $80. My bad, I'll use the tickets I paid for. They would not accept vivid seats as payment. We had to pay again. Vivid seats will not give me a refund. Life is expensive enough, with out being cheated by this company.

Stay away from Vivid Seats

Thieves. On 12/03 I bought two tickets for Pretty Woman the Musical at the Adrienne Arsht PAC on 12/09/23. The next day I received a link to accept the tickets. I clicked on the link and it opened an Adrienne Arsht wallet with watermarked tickets and a message that I would receive the actual QR code at 4:00pm the day of the performance.
Soon after that, I received two emails from Vivid Seats requesting that I contact them because there was an alert on the tickets.
I contacted them and spent almost 30 minutes while they kept putting me on hold while they tried to reach the seller, then their internal department of who knows what, and they ended up telling me to keep monitoring my emails because I would receive the tickets shortly.
Fast forward six more calls with exactly the same script (verbatim) and at least three hours wasted on hold in two days. Their final answer to me was that there was nothing else they could do, because I had accepted the tickets. Of course I had! But the tickets were not there!
The eighth time I decided to chat so I could have written evidence of their scam. I received exactly the same script, with the same holding times and the same result.
I called the box office of the PAC and it turns out that those two seats hadn't even been sold yet.
I collected all the emails, screenshots of messages, watermarked tickets and the entire chat and sent them to the PAC. They will write a letter certifying all this is true and I will add that to send to Amex where I have already opened a case to dispute the charge.
I bought from Vivid Seats before, but this was my absolute last time, and I will make sure to spread this experience so I can save others from being scammed the way I was. The only guarantee they offer is in case the event gets canceled.
They refused to give me a refund when I asked for it after the first two unsuccessful attempts to retrieve my tickets ($226).
Seven phone calls and one online chat: no tickets, no guarantee. A scam.

Horrible customer service, overcharging and fraud company that steals your money right in front of your eyes!
Let me tell you what exactly happened: I got 4 tickets (etch 47$) through Vivid seats. The total charge became 261.64$ at the end. When I got the ticket's pdf, the price on tickets was actually 30$ only. Vivid seats not only overcharged me for 17$ for each ticket (total 68$ extra) but also charged me 10$ for delivery (just an email) and on top of all charged me 63.64$ for service fee. For those 4 tickets that I should be charged something around 150$ with the service fee, I paid 261.64$. This means they overcharged me about 110$ with no reason.
The story did not end up here!
When I asked for cancellation, the Indian outsourced customer service representatives who could not speak English well, refused to connect me to the manager and said that they are not allowed to cancel, or connect me to a manager!
AVOID this company, please. If you dont want to get robbed.

Crooks. Do not use them.

The second time they have stolen $800 from us. We bought tickets to a rodeo just before Covid, and the event was canceled obviously. They issued us an $800 credit, in spite our many attempts to get a refund. A couple of years later we bought tickets to a sporting event and attempted to use our credits. They charged our credit card instead. When we called the company to cancel the order, they insisted it could not be done and to take up the issue with our credit card company. We did, and the credit card company sided with vivid. Fast-forward to now, we are again trying to use our remaining $800 credits which they originally said never expired but now they claim expired in 30 days, and they immediately canceled our order saying that they will not sell tickets to someone who has disputed a charge with them in the past. Amazing how they can all of the sudden cancel orders (which they claimed it couldn't be done, but it can be done when it comes to stealing your money). We have attempted to resolve this with them multiple times to no avail. They are crooked and they will steal your money no matter what they have to do to get it. Do yourself a favor and buy tickets through another website.

No tickets received

I bought tickets through Vivid Seats. They charged my credit card. I received an email link to download the tickets. When I tried to download them, I received a message that the tickets were already down loaded to another email. I've been emailing and calling Vivid Seats for days. All they say is maybe they went to a different email, maybe you have 2 Ticket Master accounts, maybe someone got into your email.
None of these are true. Instead of just guessing they must have a process to handle this. Computers can track anything. They told me that they contacted ticket master and were told the tickets had been downloaded. When I contacted ticket master they couldn't find any downloaded tickets.

JUST A RIP OFF

Typical online reseller, so the general bad stuff is expected as long as you're aware of it.

But we bought a parking pass for $108 (including fees) for a recent concert in L.A. It turned out the lot was over 2 miles from the venue! And the venue had plenty of parking for $60.

When we called Vivid to complain about misrepresenting the proximity of the parking, the customer service agent was a total [insert your favorite expletive here because site fascists dont allow free speech].

Needless to say, we won't ever be doing business with Vivid again.

You've been warned!

Horrible!

Terrible company! My concert was postponed/rescheduled twice. One of the artists cancelled all together and replaced. Vivid seats will not refund. For a company that charges a 329.00 service fee on top of the ticket cost their service absolutely sucks. Customer service reps are basically robots. Do not buy from this company! Scammers. Look online very low scores on multiple review websites.

I verified the first ticket over the phone the day before the event. Your representative said I will receive the event ticket soon. The day of the event no ticket was sent to me after I flew all the way to Germany to make the event. I chatted with your staff online you guys didn't have the ticket. So I canceled that one and ordered another one that said instant ticket which was false advertisement. I had to re-verify for this ticket even tho I did this for the other just one day ago. I'm outside of the event after it started trying to get another ticket and verify not caused I did something wrong. That whole process made me miss most of the event I traveled far just to see.

Buyer Beware

Purchases Adam lambert + Queen tickets a couple months ago. Received tickets electronically on the app. The day before event, opened app, barcodes disappeared. Seat section, row and number there but no barcode. First Lady I spoke to said nothing can be done. Can't resend tickets. Asked to speak to quality or grievance dept. she told me there is no one else to transfer me to. Called back spoke to another lady. She said let me escalate to VIP sept. So I guess there is someone to transfer me to. So VIP person said nothing can be done and she doesn't know why the barcodes disappeared. Called 3rd time, the man told me to call the venue and see if my name or email is associated w tickets and they can send me the tickets. So I called venue and the lady said Vivid Seats is scamming people for this concert bc there were no transferable tickets for this event and my name nor email was assigned to those seats. So unless you want to chance loosing $800, do not use Vivid Seats. I never got my tickets.

I purchased tickets on vivid seats for a parking pass at bank of New Hampshire pavilion, I paid just under $100 for this parking pass. I got an email to accept the electronic transfer and was unable to do so I kept receiving an error message "oops something went wrong" I reached out to vivid seats multiple times leading up to my event to resolve this issue. I was told it was a connectivity issue and that I should try a different WiFi or another device. After troubleshooting for an hour none of the representatives advice worked and they suggested transferring the tickets to another email. They told me this is a lengthy process and to wait to call back until an hour before the event. I waited and waited, I eventually got the electronic transfer to my other email, but once again received the same error message. Vivid seats told me there was nothing they could do except open an investigation. I purchased a parking pass at the concert for $20 and the man said vivid seats has been scamming their customers and they are not allowed to sell their parking passes. I just now a month later received a phone call from vivid seats that they will not be refunding my order. Even though they charged 3x the price and I DIDNT USE THE TICKET. I could not be more unsatisfied with my experience. I will tell all of my friends and family never to use vivid seats as they are unreliable, waste your time, have terrible customer satisfaction and are blatantly scamming their customers. DO NOT BUY FROM VIVID SEATS!

DONT BUY FROM VIVIDSEATS!

The worst experience ever! I bought tickets since January for coldplay in September and I NEVER received the tickets, I was talking on the phone and online chat 3 days before every hour, and they assured me that they would arrive before the concert! I NEVER RECEIVED THEM! I have proof of the conversations telling me to worry! I don't understand how the 100% buyer's guarantee works? Now they tell me that it is under investigation and to wait 3-5 days and I have not received a response for 18 days. THIS PAGE IS FAKE, IS A SCAM!

My daughter bought two tickets for Noah Kahan in Dallas Oct 15th and still no tickets. She spent 30 minutes on the phone with customer service with no solution yet. I recommended Vivid to her and we will tell everyone to stay away.

My boyfriend and I bought tickets to the Rocky Horror Picture Show for $150. While attending this event, which we then had to leave early because of it, multiple audience members did the 'Sieg Heile' Nazi salute to the screen which the venue did nothing about. We are Jewish and were absolutely disgusted with this display and the way that the venue, security, and the ticket company handled it was abhorrent. This is shameful, scary, and repulsive. And i was told from some idiot on the Escalation team who refused to transfer me that 'well since I used the ticket, they can't give a refund.' and 'have I even seen the Rocky Horror Picture Show? I should do my research.' like it was OUR fault. That person also did not know what a Nazi salute was, and when i explained they said 'Oh, yeah, i know I have Jewish friends.' This company is disgusting and horrible and i hope they go out of business. Some of the most idiotic and reprehensible people I've ever dealt with in the service industry,

We purchased very expensive parking passes for the Billy Joel/Stevie Nicks concert. There was no parking lot on the address on the tickets. I called customer service; they did not even attempt to help. I paid over $400 (including their exorbitant service fees), and had to pay cash to park farther away and were very late for the concert!

Unreliable on multiple occasions

Do not trust Vivid Seats. Both of my last two orders have been horrible experiences. Previously, I purchased tickets to a City SC soccer game in St. Louis. I was delivered tickets to a game in Minnesota against Colorado instead and it took an incredible amount of back and forth to get it correct. This current issue; I purchased tickets on 6/7/23 to a Chicago Fire game on 10/4/23. This event was one that required travel, and it was a little frustrating that the tickets were scheduled to be delivered on 10/3/23 but that is not the problem. 10/3/23 came and went and the tickets were still not received so I contacted Vivid support that afternoon. They said they contacted the seller to remind them to send the tickets and that they would still be delivered on 10/3. Still nothing, so I contacted Vivid to cancel the order at 10 a.m. on the 4th because I was not going to make the 6 hour trip to Chicago without tickets. They would not cancel the order and were not at all understanding of the issue. Beware that the delivery dates listed are meaningless and definitely do not plan a trip to an event relying on Vivid for tickets.

I bought 4 tickets on the way to a baseball game and the tickets were not delivered until the 4th inning. I had 3 excited boys to be at the game so I ended up buying 4 additional tickets at the gate. I reached out to customer service and they were in no way willing to help the situation. Pretty much said I was out all the money, fees and transfer cost to buy the overpriced tickets that I originally purchased.

You would think the app would be set up to purchase tickets at the game and the fees & charges would help prevent you from getting ripped off...

As bad as it can get

I bought expensive tickets with their huge fees over 5 days ago. I am unable to get the tickets on Ticketmaster with the link VividSeats provides. All I get is a blank screen. I've spent hours on the phone with Vividseats. BTW, they only let you talk to people in the Philppines that do nothing more than run through entry level scripts. They know about this problem and continue to sell tickets that people can not claim. They will NOT issue a refund. They just keep telling me to wait. I highly recommend you do NOT use them. I will likely have to seek legal action. Save yourself the hassle.
