I have been using SongKick for years now, but not religiously because it is not user-friendly to update my artist profile. The only reason I have kept it is that SongKick monopolizes the feature that synchs tour dates to Spotify.
There is no tech support, and I cannot figure out how to update my profile (specifically how to add newer music videos). Also, when adding tour dates, it refuses to recognize small tour venues, making SongKick utterly useless to the indie artist.
All this may simply be user error, and if so I would love some assistance--but if it makes it harder for the artist instead of easier, what's the point?
Songkick is great to get (email) notifications on artists you follow, and they can synch with your Spotify so you don't have to painfully enter them all one by one.
I use song kick all the time to get up to date info on who's coming to my town. Love how easy it is to use and filter results. Check it out!
I like this site it is cool to get deals and points. And it's so easy and I like the way that some times when you open. The little filters you get points to so it's a good app I think any way. But that's just my opinion.
You really have to be patient on this site. Cause sometimes you find deals way better on Ticketmaster and sometimes you DON'T. For the most part they are cheaper!
Find out about all your local music events here. Easy to search and get a detailed list. Also great for traveling to another city and checking out their scene.
There are too many ads and I think that it makes for a bad experience. They can be very distracting and annoying.
Easy to use, works well... my only complaint is that they are often late with notifications, sometimes coming after the tickets go on sale. I would give five stars if they could send notifications before tickets go on sale.
This is one of my favourite apps! It's reminded me of so many concerts that I didn't even know about. Would recommend to everyone!
They have quality music shows with the best artists. I usually do my early ticket buying with them just to make sure I don't miss my favorite bands. They always keep me in the know just to make sure I never miss any. Thank you Songkick
