I booked a couple of deals through Unsold at a VERY low price... like so low I thought it was a scam. I like to gamble, so I used my best fraud protection card and went for it. I am so glad I did. I just got back from 7 nights in Cancun. The resort was awesome and I had zero issues with the reservation. A few things to consider before booking:
1. Be flexible in your dates - Once you buy the deal you get access to their inventory and available dates. You will end up getting the most options on where you stay if you are flexible on when you go.
2. It is only for 2 adults and you can't make any changes - If you aren't 100% sure about your dates and who is going, don't book your hotel yet.
3. Follow-up with the hotel. A quick call to the property to confirm that your reservation is there and shows prepaid will give you peace of mind.
4. If you need to stay in a very specific location (ex: certain neighborhood or city center), this may not be the service for you. There is a good chance you'll get a property close to where you want, but no guarantee.
5. If you are particular about a view, there are options to ugrade. I paid additional money to have a sea view and I was glad I did (photo is the view from our balcony).
I will definitely use Unsold again for future trips. Thanks for the great vacation at a crazy low price!
