This is the 2nd review I have made about being ripped off to what I was quoted online to what they charged me on my Credit card for flight bookings.
They sent me a standard reply which they send everyone, which I completed
Of course they once again never bothered to reply.
Be very cautious dealing with this company as I would hate to see anyone ripped off.

First of all, the tickets booked in trip.com aren't cheap at all. Since United Airlines hadn't accept my credit cards I had to book through trip.com with 25% higher price. Things were ok til I could not check-in online on airlines site so I contacted Trip.com and got responses by chat bot! No clear infirmation, just an email saying I can check in at the airport which made me feel really nervous. Then I have issues with my passport going to expired a little bit less than 6 months so I couldn't get aboard, thus I needed to change my tickets to another dates but again, couldn't get a prompt support with chat bot and robotic phone answer. It was the time I realised the tickets were not changable nor refundable. I asked if I can by another ticket to go and return by the return ones, they said no because they were round trip tickets so if I didn't use one way I couln't use the other. Totally a scam. I asked, almost begged the person behind the chat bot if there was any way to get partial refund, he said he'd check and email within 24 hrs but no email at all! Terrible!
Again, I didn't buy cheap tickets. Just the service of trip.com is soooooo cheap. Don't ever use them!

I disputed part of my booking with trip.com with my bank as I was charged the wrong price, so trip.com cancelled my flight but kept the $1,700 I paid for the flight, they said if I cancel my charge back they'll refund me, so I did and now they won't refund me.
I'm now trying to get my stolen money back through my bank.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Everything is good until there is an issue with one of your bookings, in my case a cancelled flight in June. I have now spent 3 months trying to get the funds back. They promised me the money returned by 26th August, then when it wasn't returned they they said they were going to escalate it.but they have promised to escalated it about ten times. I'm just stuck in a loop speaking to their hapless support staff. If the airline won't return the funds then they should themselves, they are the booking agent!

The rental agency charged me additional $172 US and said I had to pay these fees if I wanted the car. When I sent the booking confirmation and receipt after returning the car as trip.com customer service asked, they just restated that I'd be charged the $172. I questioned why the confirmation stated that $0 to pay at pick up and there was no response. I asked if they contacted the car rental company and no reponse to that question either. The booking confirmation should have stated that extra fees apply, etc. Multiple replies from trip.con agents were unhelpful and useless.

You will lose your time and money. Never ever again. They sell flight booking, but they don't have any agreement with Ryanair. Straight after my payment I have received information from Ryanair that: "Trip.com is a travel agent who has no commercial relationship with Ryanair to sell our flights. Therefore, Ryanair has blocked this booking"

I just bought the airplane tickets from trip.com which was my big mistake. I shouldn't rely on their information on the website at all. I contacted customer service for help. At first they accepted that it is their fault for mislead information that they put on the website and offered me some coin US$50, but I ask them for alternative options. They replied that they will contact me back… then they just ignore me… This website is NOT reliable as advertised.
I thought it's better that other websites. You don't have to search for more information. You can get it from their website BUT it's totally wrong. I regret that I trusted them. I bought most of my family airplanes tickets from them for a long. I won't trust them anymore.

Trip.com is a scam, they scam you take your money and refuse to provide what you paid for. After dealing with Trip.com I am out of $2781.20 and have no ticket or refund after 4 months of demands for my money. They refused to assist me change the name on my ticket even though their system got confused and put my name on the ticket. If you refuse to change the name on the ticket, then return my money, but trip.com is refusing to give me back my money and has been lying at every turn just to hold onto my money, RUN DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY WOULD STEAL FROM YOU! If you see Trip.com come up for ticket purchase, do business with the companies that have good business practices not one that strategies to steal your monies. I see here a response with falsehood. I have had no help except emails with lies that the airline has my money when the airline has emailed me that they refunded my monies to trip.com. I am still fighting awaiting for my refund, it's a shame that this company uses deceptive business practices.

Trip.com never updates flight changes. Every time me and my family book ticket from them. They NEVER give heads ups on delay and etc. Including carry on included. When booking tickets, it shows as covered but when you go to airport, that say carry on not included. Spoke to their reps and they just keep making you repeat your words and not solve. Overall. Namely, I booked the hotel through Trip.com, but it happened that I chose the wrong date (one day too late). I was immediately noticed as soon as I received the confirmation email and contacted to move my reservation by one day (I've contacted them 5 minutes after reservation). Support set in contact with me, but they kept telling me that they would come back to me in an hour, then in two hours, then in two days. In the meantime, I contacted the hotel to check if rescheduling is possible and they said that rescheduling is completely free of charge once. After two days, I received a reply from Trip.com that they could not reschedule, even though I explained that it was a mistake and that I had contacted them immediately. I also mentioned that I would accept other available date thank planned or voucher or any other type of settlement. They just left me to wait again and the day before the trip they announced that they would not move it without any further explanation.

The order of round trip is consumerism of the company.
I order round trip from TLV to Catania and back. Unfortunately our flight to Catania was canceled by Wizz due Vulcan activity.

The worst trip website. I bought a ticket from them to go to a conference in Australia. They canceled my middle flight with no substitution. Then,Trip.com refused to pay me back. Trip.com asked me to call Air New zealand and gave me the paid number for Air New zealand to call them, cost me $175. Why? Because they said they locked my ticket. I had to ask my credit card to help me and get my money back. I finally did it. I would NEVER use them again. I told everyone about them as well. EVERYONE.

Answer: Do not book with them. If anything happens and you need to modify your booking they will not help you. They have canceled people's bookings at the last minute as well. This company is all about the money. Once they have your payment they are done with you. DO NOT book travel arrangements with them. Read the reviews and I'm speaking from experience. The price is good but if anything happens they will take your money and will not help you.
