The booking process has gone well, smoothly and efficiently. However, I did do the booking and theyve sent all the information to my husband. Not sure why. So that was a glitch.
We have yet to see how the process goes from here on. As our trip is not til December, its too early to tell.
I found the website very easy to negative. With helpful proms on the way.

Inadvertently made a duplicate booking at a hotel in Kowloon. Had lots of trouble cancelling one of the duplicate booking due to no cancellation policy. Felt like I was being shoved backwards & forward by trip.com & the hotel in my attempts to rectify my double booking.
Thanks goodness, trip.com finally came through with good news. Got to cancel one of my unwanted & not needed rooms.

1. I'm an Australian, booking done in Australia website.
2. Why charge and bill me in Singapore currency instead of Australian dollars.
3. Had to pay unnecessarily foreign currency cost on my Master card
4. I brought travels insurance. I was horrified to discover it was valid only for 7 days from date on departure. My holidays is 30 days.

Using trip.com is very convenient and user friendly! They gave you the best rates compared to other platforms plus they gave you points on every purchases you made through them and on top of that the perks you gain each bookings as well. Its really feels like the best of both worlds.

Booked ticket won't link into flights check-in system on phone or laptop when they asked for this review. Otherwise on par with Booking.com in both choice and value and mostly functionality, will continue to use and just unlucky for them that they asked for a review in the middle of a minor glitch.

Trip. Com is very good but not great. Good pricing and lots of choices. Ticketing with them is very easy and nice. Good service with problems, but they cannot solve everything because they are not directly issuing. Go directly to an airline to get exact, specific answers. But, I have never had a problem,

I normally receive an email for online check-in from Trip.com or the carrier I am taking, but I did not this time, and my flight is less than 24 hours.

Had a disappointing experience with a hotel in Samarkand. Vera (Wang) was one of the trip.com customer support line managers who understood my situation and facilitated a redressal and compensation given the unavoidable circumstances. Answer: Do not book with them. If anything happens and you need to modify your booking they will not help you. They have canceled people's bookings at the last minute as well. This company is all about the money. Once they have your payment they are done with you. DO NOT book travel arrangements with them. Read the reviews and I'm speaking from experience. The price is good but if anything happens they will take your money and will not help you.
