I looked at the reviews prior to ordering & my mind was almost changed. I went a head & ordered & I am so happy I did. They turned out exactly how I wanted them to.
I never write reviews but felt the need to do so. I have purchased signs from this company before and have been happy with them. However, I just received my custom family portrait today in the extra large print size(on sale for about $80 bucks). I could not be more disappointed. The picture is blurry and the colors are muted and faded. In the original photo the colors are vibrant. The pixel quality was fine and no warning was given at the time of purchase. I would not suggest buying from this company. I know I sure will not again. This photo was supposed to hang in our entry way but now it will stay in the box. Think twice before purchasing. It is a gamble. You never know what you will get.
I wish I could give 0 stars. I wish they would give me my money back. I wish they wouldn't have taken money out of my account without my approval. My wife was shopping and putting in a promo code and boom it was processed. She didn't put in a card number, security code or zip. They pulled my information from Spotify and took $55.78 out of our checking account. Not once but twice they charged us. This was at 10:30 at night. My wife called first thing in the morning and would cancel. Absolutely shameful. Nobody in this company cares about taking money from people. They tried to blame my card having a different zip code than my billing address. It doesn't and does not make sense. Do Not Shop Here!
I can't believe that I paid 46 dollars for that. I ordered medium size and they send me Extra Small size. I called them and they said that I selected that size. And I said how do you pretended that I'm going to paid $46 for an extra small size, it doesn't have sense. Omg it was my first time to purchase and it was a really bad experience!
I ordered two custom canvas and they came earlier than expected. I had a problem with the one and contacted customer service right away. They emailed me back within a day and are sending me a replacement. Great company!
I was somewhat hesitant to order from small woods based on reviews but we had a professional photographer take pictures of our boys and send us the edited images in which we used to order these. The picture quality and the frames are spot on! I am so in love with how they turned out! They are gorgeous! I also ordered bathroom art for my boys bath and that also was perfection! High quality! 100% worth it and will order from again!

We have purchased several items from Smallwoods, and all have turned out lovely. I just placed another order and within minutes realized I should have gone with a larger size. Unfortunately it was after hours. I emailed immediately but received an auto response that it could take 3 days to hear back. I called this morning, was placed on hold, then was told it had been printed and there was nothing they could do. Just money wasted on my end. I understand that it was my error; I just think they should have SOME type of option available for holding or canceling an order besides waiting on customer service. I was told the printing takes place before customer service even comes in for the day. So if you make an error or change your mind, there is absolutely no way to rectify it. You should be able to process that yourself online, at least within a certain window of time.
So- this review is strictly on their customer service process. I've enjoyed everything we purchased and it comes quickly- clearly! Ha! Just do not make any errors, there's no way to fix it!
I was a little concerned how the quality would be since I read mixed reviews, but i received my photos and they were perfect! I am extremely happy with the product, the price and how quickly they got to me! I highly recommend this company
I ordered two pictures from them a few months ago, loved them. I have wedding pictures I wanted to print, but I wanted to make sure the stain they used for the custom pictures is the same as the previous framed art I ordered. They said yes it is the same. I ordered $200 worth of pictures in the darker stain color and when I received them they are SO MUCH darker than the previous pictures. I emailed them to tell them of this issue and they said " We are a growing company, and we do update our products to stay current with trends." If that is the case then why didn't you tell me that when I specifically asked! I now can't put them on the same wall like I wanted to. AND a few pictures were scratched and has white lines on them. I will never order from them again.
I was so disappointed with my order. The wood frames were beautiful, but the print quality was awful. When I reached out to the company to reprint or send me a refund, they refused. The prints were much darker than the original photos I submitted. They then offered me a 20% discount on future orders. I will never order form this company again.
This is my second custom order from Smallwoods. I ordered 4 custom 13 X 13 canvas prints and they are BEAUTIFUL! The first time, I ordered 2 large canvases and I love them. One did get damaged in shipping, but they quickly made it again and sent it to me at no extra cost. Their customer service person was very kind and helpful. I will order more from Smallwoods in the future. I would have paid ALLOT more elsewhere and not gotten better quality! Very please customer!
I ordered prints and a couple hours after sent an email to the customer support that I ordered the wrong size and needed to place another order. They emailed me back the next day and said it was in production and couldn't be cancelled. I emailed an hour after I ordered, now I am out $120 since I can't use the frames. Worst customer service ever!
So when I saw the reviews, I am not going to lie - they scared me. I was so nervous to order, but I had a coupon. So why not. I would only spend about $100. In reality, I waste that money if I would go out to eat with the family. I received my canvas and I am in love.
Now I will say that my canvas did not have any protection in the box. Luckily our order was not damaged, but keep that in the back of your mind when you place an order.

I will say that if you read most of the bad reviews, they are about the quality of their print. Let me start by saying, I worked for a photo center while I was in college. We printed every photo that was sent to us. You would be SUPRISED at what people would send pictures of. We have many people print headless images. The customers would see the product and they would still buy it. It is not this companies job to inspect every image. When you place a custom order, you agree that you did your due diligence. If you go online to Walgreens, will they send you a proof before they print? NO! If you want someone to baby you and to make sure you didn't miss up your order and send you a proof, then go somewhere else. Most of these comments are from user error.
What I appreciated about Smallwoods is that I bought a picture from them and when it was delivered it was super pixelated (MY FAULT) bc I sent a wrong low resolution picture to them. When I emailed them about my mistake they completely understood let me return it and gave me a credit to make a new one. I did and it turned out so beautiful thank you Smallwoods.
I am SOOOO disappointed. I ordered 5 photos from them. 3 in black and white. And 2 in color. I do have one positive to say, I was Pleasantly surprised at the color photos. However, the 3 black and white photos suck. The quality compared to the 2 colored photos is so different. Not only are 2 of the photos slightly blurry but the printing/color quality sucks. I stupidly did not read the return policy until after I revived my photos, but I still contacted customer service. I have not gotten a response and it has been a week. I can't believe they don't stand behind their product. Even Walgreens has a technology on their website that will tell you if the photo isn't a high enough quality. I can't believe they don't use this or stand behind their product.
I ordered 3 picture frames & they all came out beautiful! I will definitely order from them again!

The products shipped quicker than the estimated time and the images & frames are very high quality. Love them! I was nervous after reading the reviews but am glad I purchased. I had a great experience! Although can't speak to their customer service since I didn't have to use it.

Answer: I had one print damaged during shipping but was able to fix it easily. They need to work on packing and shipping. There are opportunities for improvement.
