I'm so happy! I purchased two 40 x 20s LESS than a week ago! I just got them today and they are absolutely gorgeous! I was almost not going to buy because of the bad reviews but I'm so glad I did!

We ordered 3 of the xlarge canvases. The print quality was great but unfortunately all 3 arrived damaged, with a large crease along the bottoms (due to lack of care of the shipping carriers/ see last pic). I reached out to Smallwoods, submitted images of the damaged canvases and thankfully they made it right without any hassels. A week later I received the replacements and they are absolutely beautiful (first pic). I'll definitely be ordering again, just wish they were handled with more care while being shipped or that Smallwoods would safely package them as past reviews have mentioned similar problems.
Very disappointed in my first order! Ordered for a Christmas present on 12/2. Said it would be delivered on 12/19 and still nothing! Have contacted the company and heard nothing. Guess I will be finding a new company!
I had originally contacted small woods with issue of a blurry photo canvas. I have ordered from them so many times I figured one complaint out of $1000 of orders wasn't that bad. Once I contacted customer support I was met with so much opposition and irritating lack of communication. They took forever to respond to emails, no phone number would work and in the end they couldn't make it right.
I'm seriously so disappointed in this company, I have followed their work for a couple years now and was so excited to finally order one of their products! I placed my order EARLY this month, fully expecting my item would be here before Christmas. I placed my order DECEMBER 1st- it's now the 21st and I still have no idea when I will receive it. I already had to call the company mid month to see if I would receive shipping information, it took two weeks to actually receive a tracking number on the product, and at that time I was still hopeful that it would be here before week of Christmas. The lack of communication, and not setting proper expectations (website advises much faster turn around time) to their customers is why I will not buy from them again.
I was very hesitant on ordering my photos because they had some bad and some good reviews but I went with my gut and decided to order and let me tell you I was not disappointed at all. I love the fact that they look like a canvas in a wood frame. If you aren't looking for that then don't get it. I just got them and already placed a 2nd order of 13×13 ones for family. To top is off there turn around is perfect.
I'm in LOVE with my custom frames. The quality was exceptional and Small Woods met all expectations. I chose the largest print size and Small Woods did not disappoint!
Quality is sub par. Not at all what was described on the website. The grain is terrible across faces. Its cheap cardboard like material. Called to complain. She basically said they have a zero refund policy on anything custom. I asked to talk to a supervisor, ahe said no. Tried to email, and they never responded
I've ordered several custom prints from this company in the past and had not had any issues or concerns with their products. However I recently paid a good about of money to a photographer for a high resolution print to be printed for a gift for my husbands anniversary present. The colors on the print when it arrived were much brighter and almost unrealistic to the photo I submitted. I acknowledged that colors may vary however even the detail was lacking in the print and when I tried to contact customer service I was told they would give me 20% off a new order. The artwork can be easily swapped out in the frame I already purchased and I asked for that option as I had already spent a lot of money. I asked for a phone call and nobody ever called and I called several times and after being on hold for 15-20 minutes went to a voicemail. Still nobody called me. I called and finally spoke with someone who asked me to send the new photos over. My email will only send certain sizes and could only send as a link. I asked someone to call me for help and nobody would then they closed my case. I'm so disappointed as my anniversary is next week and I started this process over a month ago so I would have it in time and now I'm out a good amount of money and the print is not at all what I wanted. I'm trying to find a company that can make a print to fit the frame I have. I was a loyal customer of theirs but will not recommend or buy again from them.
I was a little reluctant to place an order with Smallwoods because of the reviews on this site were not good. I checked on FB and most of the reviews were more recent and great. I ordered 3 big prints and as soon as I submitted my order, I realized I used the web resolution instead of the high-res version. I immediately messaged them on their FB page and they told me as long as I submit a ticket within 24 hours they would be able to fix it. Customer Services was VERY quick to respond back to me and even notified me again when it was updated. The shipping was extremely quick. I placed my order on Thursday, my issue was resolved the same day and it was shipped on Friday. I received them on Tuesday. They are perfect and I will DEFINITELY be ordering from them again!
Ordered two signs and never received them. States they were delivered but not to me! So I paid and received nothing. And here I sit?
I ordered wall art with my family pics last year and was very happy. Ordered the same same wall art with new family pics this year and they changed the quality of the wall art and it looks so cheap. I don't even want to hang in my home. I called to see if they would reprint with different wall art or refund and they wouldn't do anything to compensate for the change in quality. So just know they do not stand behind their products. If you're unhappy with quality unfortunately you're out all that money and stuck with the cheap quality merchandise.
I would give them a 0 if I could. I ordered $300 worth of portraits. A few days later, my mother in law told me she order the same thing for us. It was suppose to be a Christmas present. Call them to cancel order and rep stated order can only be cancelled 24 hrs after order was placed. Explained the situation and they were unwilling to do anything for us. Bc both orders were not in the 24hr window. So now we have $600 with of the exact same pictures. Don't order it for any reason you may need to cancel.
I ordered 7 of Smallwoods large framed prints and they arrived in perfect condition. They are lovely! Thank you Smallwoods!
Poor customer service. The quality control is lacking. Wedding photos that were uploaded were high resolution and the printed frames came out blurry. They only offered a credit.
I was a little discouraged by all the bad reviews I was reading but once I opened my package I was in awe! I couldn't believe how beautiful they looked! I couldn't stop smiling, and the texture on the portrait itself is gorgeous! I can't tell y'all enough how amazing Smallwoods is! Definitely 5 stars! Thank you so much Smallwoods!
I am so upset. Got charged twice 125.00 for a double order of the same thing. The first order i placed stated it did not go through, so i placed another order. Now i am stuck with two of the same thing. Havent recieved them, but im sure quality will be terrible as well. I AM NOT IMPRESSED! Customer services was NOT helpful. Did a chat and phone call and they just dont care at all about customers. Stay away!
I was really worried about the picture quality because they were taken with my phone, but they are perfect! I ordered the XL 44"x22". I'm so happy with how they turned out!
I was extremely worried about what I would be receiving after reading some of the reviews on here. I ordered three of the Extra Large Frame/Prints (44" x 20") for $150. They arrived today and they are BEAUTIFUL! The photos we used were taken by a professional photographer using legit gear (Canon 5D mk IV with an L Series Lens) and were about 8-14 MB each. The unscaled resolution was around 12" x 18" when I imported them into Corel just to double-check. I even zoomed two of these photos in when trying to get them scaled and positioned the way I wanted. I will definitely use Small Woods again!

Answer: I had one print damaged during shipping but was able to fix it easily. They need to work on packing and shipping. There are opportunities for improvement.
