Sendle's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to unreliable service and poor communication. Many users report frequent delays in pickups and deliveries, lost parcels, and a lack of accountability from customer support, which often relies on generic responses. While some customers appreciate the cost-effectiveness and ease of use of the platform, these benefits are overshadowed by the stress and frustration associated with service failures. Overall, the feedback indicates a pressing need for improved operational reliability and customer service responsiveness to restore trust and satisfaction among users.

BOOKING REFERENCE: SN36RH - Booked a collection on Monday 20th April at 10am, for pick up on Tuesday. Tuesday come and no-one turned up. I contacted them immediately, with no response. It's now Friday and package has still not been picked up! I have sent over 10 emails to them and have not received a reply to any of them. They do not have a contact phone that you can call and speak to someone, they use email only. I have booked with Sendle at least 50 times for various domestic courier services, and I always seem to have the same issue when they use FASTWAY COURIERS to transfer package. This was an extremely important package that needed to arrive urgently, but no-one seems to care. DO NOT USE SENDLE WEBSITE TO BOOK ANY COURIER SERVICE, OR FASTWAY COURIERS EITHER.
SCAM OF A COMPANY! Delivery never even attempted but their liar drivers mark as if they tried to deliver. $#*!ing disgusting company. No phone number to call.
Our customer's parcel is somewhere. Fresh jerky in there which is rotten by now. You can't phone them... so what to do! Can't trace the parcel and the customee wants a refund... for obvious reasons. So what about a small business loosing money and customers due to poor service from your part. Ten emails later and still no response. I want someone to sort this out or I will take it further! Pathetic!
Even the post office will not let you print the lowest rate for postage. I was having to go to the post office to send packages for $3 instead of printing at home for $8. That $5 is a huge difference especially considering at both prices, the package was going to be delivered the exact same day. Sendle allows the best priced shipping to be printed with a tracking number. And I can use my home or business mailbox and Usps picks them up. So easy!
Took a week from the latest delivery estimate to actually get here. Dont understand how it took you so long to get it to the courier to actually deliver it. Just an all around dreadful first experience with Sendle, will be specifically asking anyone I buy things from not to use Sendle
Went on this site one day after ordering something arriving through sendle and i was shocked to see all the negative reviews. Because of that i actually had really low hopes of my package even COMING, afterall these reviews must of meant something right? Fast foward 3-4 days (13/04/20) IT ARRIVED around 10:30 am. I think the main takeaway from sendle is that, if youre feeling lucky about it go for it- but i wouldnt really recommend you to. Theres maybe a 50/50 chance you'll get your package and i was one of the luckier ones.
I had four failed delivery attempts and no one from the company reached out to say something was wrong with the delivery notes. Upon realising this I had to chase the company up. You cannot call them and they take 1-2 business days for all responses. I never actually received my item. Do not use them!
God where do I start!
Shocking customer Service and they are not contactable by phone, only email.
All local pickups, they use Couriers Please. Pickups a lot of the time don't come and you have to reschedule them for the following day. I am still chasing a local parcel that was to be delivered literally 10 minutes walk away from me. It is now 11 days since pick up and it is still not delivered and now we have all the easter public holidays. Don't even think about using their overseas service, its 3 times slower than Aust Post and the same price. My advise would be, stick to Australia Post if you want a reliable more organised and professional service! The couple of dollars you save each parcel, you end up paying more in the time you have to chase them up. I know I wont be using them ever again!
They marked my parcel as delivered, I contact them since it was not, I was home all day (like all of us during this pandemic) and no one rang, besides I live in a building where they do not allow parcels in the lobby. They tell me they are going to mark the parcel as lost and I should ask seller for refund, but they apparently have proof of delivery and they send me the picture of a bunch of parcels being loaded in, some truck in some warehouse... great! So I reply to them asking to actually locate the parcel since it is obvious its still in their possession from the photo THEY have sent me. No answer nothing... They will not even try to call the driver that took the shipment, nothing. They are just deciding I'm not getting my $500 parcel just because... These people clearly don't want your business, do not under any circumstance give it to them. I get 10+ parcels a months, this is the first time I use them and this is the first time I have an issue of this sort. DO NOT USE THEM
The auction house where we bought some goods used Sendle for the first time to deliver the goods (we couldn't pick them up as usual because of the virus restrictions). Sendle dumped the tea chest sized box on the pavement OUTSIDE our gate and we live on a main road in an inner Melbourne suburb. There's a latch on the gate which they could have easily lifted to let themselves in. They could have phoned to ask or let us know, but they did nothing. It was pure chance that I went to the gate and saw the parcel. Appalling service!
Sendle only took one business day to pickup the package which I had purchased which was good but the tracking history started to get very confusing. Apparently a package can go from Sydney to Melbourne in 2 minutes and it back again to Sydney in 3 hours. Not sure if it was actually in Melbourne at all but once I started asking questions, they pushed it onto a 'third-party provider' which allowed them to throw their hands up and pass the blame onto another company. If you want to have a delivery service you must be able to take the blame even if you have passed the parcel onto someone else since it is not the consumer's fault but yours. Very unhappy and still have not received my package which has now been lost by the third party.
ALWAYS RECORD THE ACTUAL TRACKING NUMBER (CPAFXLT...) AND THE ACTUAL COURIER COMPANY IT IS GOING WITH, THIS WAY IF THE PARCEL IS LOST/DELAYED ETC YOU CAN CALL THE ACTUAL COURIER COMPANY DIRECTLY INSTEAD OF DEALING WITH THE PEOPLE AT SENDLE.! LOL.! EVEN WORKS IF YOU NEED TO CALL THE ACTUAL COURIER COMPANY TO BOOK THE PICK UP IF NOBODY SHOWS UP TO PICK UP THE PARCEL.! :)
I have used Sendle on multiple occasions to send packages. The price has been super affordable, the delivery has been speedy and customer service was super helpful. I cannot express how grateful I am for this company.
Until January 2020 we used Sendle for 90% of our shipping and their service levels were fantastic. Since then however the local courier changed and quite simply the new guys can't be bothered collecting the parcels... sometimes it takes a week and we are in a main suburb. When you raise the issue of non collection, you get typical standard answers like it's been escalated' but nobody ever does anything, follows through or fixes the issue and as a result we have received negative feedback from our own customers. Since we didn't take up their offer of FREE delivery on 3 parcels (as we need to ensure that they would offer good service first and have no guarantee of this), they then decided to remove their app from website with no communication with us at all. On all fronts this past 2.5 months has to have been the worst customer service we have ever received from any other business. Simply not worth the savings.
My first consigned from Brisbane to Sydney was delivered overnight. I was impressed, so the couriers assigned by Sendle can provide good service. Rural addresses take longer to deliver and are more expensive than Australia Post. My 13th and last parcel with Sendle was posted on 13 Feb and returned to sender on 10 March. Sendle explanation: Unable to deliver due to insufficient address. I checked, the address was correct and Sendle had delivered twice before to this same SYD address. I explained address correct and requested a second delivery. I had also provided a contact phone number, to assist delivery, but the courier driver never attempted to communicate. Then, Sendle customer service, avoided my question, WHY could it not be delivered. They randomly suggested: maybe gate locked, dog on premises. None of the reasons were genuine or real. Sendle is a middleman, not a courier company, once allocated to a courier company, they don't follow-up. Don't send important documents or urgent items such as: passports, wallets with this company. I suspect the driver didn't want to attempt parking in a busy part of SYD. Auspost are more expensive, but they are reliable and are ethical with customer support.
Came home to find a parcel on the front street path. Totally untrustworthy, potentially I could have lost a small fortune in goods.
This company no longer is giving you value for your shipping. Since they have changed the way they measure their Box to volume instead of actual Box size you really can't send anything much larger than shoe Box and that's gonna put you at the size large. I truly don't know what they would send for $3.20 unless it's a 50 cent envelope. I was very pleased with their service and shared them with many friends. Now i have to tell them that USPS is cheaper again. I needed to ship a 3 lb box and i did the pricing through USPS and Sendle and USPS was almost 4.00 less. So i went with them. Shipping by the volume of a box with the measurements of 10x13x3 equals a bix size of 49 inches w girth. By Sendles bew way with volume it is 390 cubic inches. And you go over their size limit. That is not a big box..
Usless drivers dont turn up - they are NOT CHEAP!
Bunch of lying thieves...
Australia Post Only not these useless nameless NO PHONE NUMBER at all bunch of moronic dumb F**'S
Shocking experience with both delivery and sending
First ever experience was someone sending me an item. It never arrived. The sender and I opened a case and they said they would investigate. Not much it seems was done as the final response, after 10 days of waiting, was that the driver said they had left it by the front door of my unit - even when I said that was impossible because of the 3 security doors they could not have gone through. Never got any further follow up.
Then, thinking that may be a one off, booked a pick up to send a parcel. Booked for pick up the next day. 3.30 comes and no pick up - so having checked the website (contradicting information about pick up windows and expectations) reached out to the company. ONLY THEN told "our providers don't pick up or delivery from auction houses, malls, hospitals, military bases or airports" - even though where I am has a FREE car park 10 meters away from our front door and we get many parcels collected and delivered by the courier companies they say they use. Their suggestion - ask a friend to take the parcel and they can collect from them - what sort of business is this?
They say it is the same for delivery - but I KNOW we have had packages delivered via Sendle here (not many, but some). So on both occasions been LIED to and not received ANY SERVICE. Use at your peril - wish I'd read the other reviews first!
Update: - Couriers Please person just turned up to my work to collect the parcel - which was cancelled because Sendle were adamant they would not pick up from this address... 2 days late, but he turned up! Had to send him away and let him know I cancelled it based on information from Sendle and used MailMan yesterday morning
Sendle decide to deliver $6,000 worth of product in an open try Ute in torrential rain.
They deem an open try Ute as acceptable transport to deliver valuable goods in?
I at least expect my courier to have a van or truck to deliver my goods safely.
They then tell me that they cannot insure for damaged product and as I said it's not been damaged, it was neglected!
I'm in shock that someone would be so stupid to drive around with other people's product swimming in the back of their Ute.
Anyway why would you use Sendle, they loose parcels, have no customer service and do not integrate with Xero. All to save $1 per parcel.
Just pay for EParcel and Fastways at least you know your product is safe and with Starshipit the integration is seamless and super user friendly!
Answer: Impossible. No phone contact at all. Email messages to Sendle support get scripted replies pointing to information on the website. A week of demands to escalate gets email contact from another employee who says all the same things as the first one.
Answer: Absolutely not. Appalling. False information. I need my wheel battery, they repeatedly said it has not been picked up yet the shop who sent it says it was picked up 4 days ago. They have lied to me.
Answer: I used to use them because they were reliable. Now I wouldnt use them if they were the last courier company on the face of the Earth. Completely unreliable, unprofessional and dodgy.
Answer: I would look elsewhere. They started out good but niw measure boxes by volume which is very costly.
Sendle is building the most efficient and delightful delivery solution on the planet to make shipping simple, reliable and affordable for millions of small businesses in Australia, the U.S. and Canada, and their customers.
