I was charged over a hundred dollars more that the motel would have charged me.
Their agents spoke English badly.
They will scam you! They say no refunds! You think you are on a hotel website and you're not. Very misleading.
BE AWARE OF rESERVATIONS.COM CHARGING IN US DOLLARS! Just booked a hotel in Vaughan, Ontario, assuming it was in Canadian Dollars. Received email confirmation which clearly shows payment in US dollars. Called immediately to cancel...guess what...even within less than 10 minutes of booking, I could not cancel our reservation. What a rip-off!
I booked a hotel stay via reservations.com to realize that I was double billed one by reservations.com and again at the hotel when I arrived. When I called their customer service and attempted to escalate the same representative tried to tell me he was someone else when in fact it was the SAME PERSON. I called the hotel directly who credited the double bill however I lost $146.00 dollars in the whole transaction. The hotel had confirmed that they sent the cancellation to reservations.com and sent me the copy of the cancellation. SHAME ON YOU! Thanks for the experience. DO NOT BOOK online.
Not able to go they will not even consider a refund 2 weeks out from reservation! Thieves! Never aga
BEWARE!Wanted to stay at my favorite hotel. The website tried to trick me into booking with them. Instead of Canadian dollars the showed US dollars! SCAM. Website made it look legit until I checked the policies because the total amount included 50% tax on top of the USD dollar amount and it didn't make sense. BEWARE
My wife thought that she was at the website for Wyndam. Unfortunately, she was on reservations.com. As she was finishing up, she noticed the room rate total, and it was substantially higher than the initial quote. She then called reservations.com and explained the situation. This reservation was for six weeks out. The reservations.com agent informed her that the entire amount was non-refundable.The website is fraudulent. Save your money. Please don't be fleeced by these crooks.
NEVER BOOK USING THIS THIRD PARTY! They commit fraud. BEWARE! Their website automatically booked my reservation while asking for credit card info and booked the wrong date. I called and spent hours trying to correct the date and got some customer rep from the Philippines that was no help at all. This was their mistake and they will not correct it. This is stealing and fraud. DO NOT ever book using this third party. They are a nightmare and stole my money.
I had a flight booked to Syracuse, NY. My flight was scheduled to arrive at 11:30 PM. I searched to internet for a hotel close to the airport and chose Red Carpet Inn. Although the words Red Carpet Inn were in bold letters, I didn't realize that it was reservations.com. I called the no. Listed and they answered "reservations". So I booked the hotel for the night of July 8th, thinking I was talking to the hotel. The agent I talked with said nothing about no refunds. On July 8th my flight was cancelled. I called the hotel saying I must cancel the room reservation. They said OK. When my credit card bill arrived I saw that reservations.com had billed me for some $120. I called them and said I had cancelled through the hotel. They said they allow no late cancellations and no refunds. I told the agent that I wasn't told that by their agent when I made the reservation and he said that made no difference. I later made a reservation for the Hotel directly for a later date. The price through the hotel was $83. So you are going to pay far more using reservations.com and not get a refund if your flight is cancelled.
Scam site. They trick customers by showing up as top return on Google for the hotel you are searching for and disguise themselves as if you are purchasing from the hotel themselves when you are not.
Then they pile on scam fees and will not refund you for accidental purchases - even though the hotels themselves will according to policy. Terrible customer service
Awful, avoid at all costs.
They charged me over $160 of fees and taxes. I attempted to cancel within 3 minutes of booking, as I received the email breakout with details, and they refused to refund me.
Committed fraud on my credit card. Blatant fraud. Do not give them any credit card number...especially a debit/bank card.
Again, I must have been half-awake, and do not know how I went from the hotel site to them. I paid $25 service fees and another $71 Fees and Taxes. This was for a two night stay at Red Roof Inn in Herkimer, NY. There are so many choices for hotel booking and most of them are honest brokers except Reservatiuons.com. Be aware.
Don't. Use. Them.
Worst customer service/worst experience. Deserve zero stars if that was an option.
They charge hidden fees much higher than the hotels site and do not refund reservations even if they are booked in the last half hour.horrible and beware! Cheaters
First of all, I thought I was making a reservation directly on the hotel website, it was not clear how I ended up with the "reservations.com", obviously it was hidden. Secondly, Hotel location on the Location Map was shown much closer to the beach then it actually was. My card was charged immediately, after I pressed a button "processing", I was alarmed at that point, even though it stated- "Free Cancellation". After checking hotel location on the other maps, I decided to cancel this reservation, total time of reservation 30 min. I was surprised when cancelation directed me to "reservation.com" website. Rreservation.com web informed me of non-refundable service fee in an amount of $136.53. After talking to an agent, and lots of persuasions, he promised a full refund in 7-10 business days, including refund of $136.53 "service fee", but I believe when I see it. I will keep you updated... to be continued...
I thought I was booking a room directly with Holiday Inn but somehow ended up on this site. Not told there was a fee or you couldn't get a refund if cancelled. With Covid I would have never booked on a site you couldn't get a refund.much less a fee!
This site adds bogus service charges and did not allow me to change a reservation with 2 minutes of accidentally making. Will never use again and stopped payment on charges.
Deliberate obfuscation of hidden fees, currency and refund policies.
I would give them zero stars if I could.
Book with a reputable company or directly with a hotel, not this scammer business from Florida.
Due to health problems we could not make a trip at the time we had reserved. Called two weeks before, no cancellation. Had to let someone else take our room. Do not book here!
Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!

Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
Answer: Hello Brodie, We have sent you an email this morning regarding your concerns. Please email us directly so we may assist you. Sincerely, Customer Support Reservations.com
Answer: Yes, you were billed. Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. Your company should remove it, send you a new card and assign you a new card number.
