I made a reservation in anticipation that the power in our area would not be restored.
I was informed that the reservation was non/refundable. Ok fine. Never used the hotel as I was chasing down the power company. In an Emil it was noted that I was offered a refundable option which I wasn't.
I accepted the reservation clerk's condition. White another thing to lie and not offer the cancellation option.

Terrible experience! I was led to believe that I was speaking directly to the Albany Airport Inn reservations agent, as the phone number was tagged as "Albany Airport Inn Reservations on Google. This is Expedia! They grossly overcharged me, and assured me that I was getting the blocked room rate for an anniversary party at the hotel. They also confirmed a room with two beds, but when I called the hotel directly to check the reservation, it was one bed only. When I called Expedia back to cancel the reservation, they told me that the penalty was the full cost of the room (minus tax), even though they told me when I booked that I had until March 6 to cancel. I don't want to be left without a room for the event, so I requested a rate change to honor the correct blocked room rate. They said they would put on a request and it would take 2-10 business days to get a response. No guarantee that the rate/refund would be approved. I reported this fraud directly to the hotel and that's how I found out that I was being swindled by Expedia. Neither Expedia agent that I spoke with would identify the company they worked for... just that they "handled reservations for Albany Airport Inn and other hotels." These misleading practices are unacceptable.

Was a very good experience. I did not give correct location and had to have him redo reservations. I also made a mistake typing in my cc expire date and Edgar was very understanding.

Troi was polite and very much going by his script, but when I came to hotel we were adding the dog fee and they were confused because it was way overcharged. He kept telling me there was a cancellation so I was fortunate to get a room when the hotel was not overbooked. Seemed like an upsell. Not sure if I will use reservation.com again.

You booked me into a high priced room. Everyone else in our party were offered rooms for 231$. I am very upset about this. You did not give me any options. You made it sound as if that is all there was. This is not the service my friends - several other couples, traveling with us got.

She was so helpful with the reservations, the motel said there was no reservations amd made me pay for the room for 2 nights even though I had already paid through your website and the motel manager said that the reservation number i had was wrong and it wasn't. Then Julianna called him and she fixed it and the motel gave me back the money I paid. But if it wasn't for Julianna I would have lost a lot of money, she didn't stop until the issue was resolved. So thank you for not giving up! She was so nice!

Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!

Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
