Well I called two hours earlier and after I went through the hole process waiting for my email and text confirmation we got disconnected, I waited for an email or text one never came so I called back and got this guy who helped me without fail. The room for two days was more money. Whick I wasn't happy about but I got a room for two nights anyhow. Im glad I decided to call back because it wouldn't have be good if I couldn't get room. He helped me with a smile and laughs. Greatly appreciated.

Called the Hilton number to make a room reservation at the aembassy Suites in San Rafael CA. It was complicated and Jose Gilbert was a huge help. He also helped me by referring me to correct a previous issue with a reservation in New Mexico. Very glad to say in a scale of one to 10, he is a 20. It is all too rare these days to find such professional and knowledgeable service.

Steeve took my reservation over the phone for Tru by Hilton Lake Charles. He told me multiple times my reservation was refundable and I could cancel by March 14th at 6pm. I never book anything non refundable. Now when I try to cancel it says "pre paid" non refundable. So I had to submit a ticket to review my phone call. Thank God they are recorded bc you will hear Steeve repeatedly tell me I ca cancel the reservation by "March 14th at 6 pm". What a head ache. Horrible experience.

Agent was very polite but didn't get me the best price
The rate at the hotel was $132, he charged me $202. I'm a Hilton Honors member but I feel violated by such a difference in price.

You didn't express that you were a third party making reservations and charged me fraudulently as far as I'm concerned. You introduced yourself as being Best Western. If you had said you were Esperian I would have said I didn't need your service.

Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!

Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
