Worst customer service
November 28, 2020

I booked a hotel and canceled it within 15 minutes due to a mistake. Reservationdesk.com refused to give me a refund and kept reading the refund policy. They are rude and not flexible. I will tell my family and friends about this experience.

Horrible...

I looked up the specific hotel online to place my reservation. After clicking on the site for the hotel I wanted, I made the reservation... not realizing it was not the actual hotel. I needed to cancel, more than a day in advance, due to flooding in the area and my even being canceled. I called customer service who told me they would charge for the day no matter what. No option of a credit or changing the date. I called the hotel directly and because it was made through this website there is nothing they can do.

Complete fraud... fast talking agents trying to get you cc number as fast as they can and pretending to be an agent of the hotel! Do not be tricked... my mistake being in a rush at work and took the first google hit on my hotel... my booking was $100 more plus a $12.99 booking fee to boot... I specifically asked if I could cancel... the answer was yes of course... except when I tried 2 days later the answer was, 'yes you can cancel but you cant get your money back'... which is a fun play on the original question... escalate the matter? They did of course... 'they' listened to the tapes and I apparently agreed to the no refund policy I was quoted... I can assure you I was not quoted anything after I asked "I can cancel this right" and told "yes sir up to 24 hours in advance" they even suggested they called my hotel and they refused my cancellation request... except I called my hotel before and they warned me they would say this and that this happens all the time... yeah according to this site I can cancel anytime, you just wont get ur money back... this company is a total fraud... contact me for the email that you will receive when you try to cancel... scam scam scam...

They are a Theft.

The hotel Quality Inn charged Reservation Desk 392.72 and reservation desk charged me 568.15. Reservations desk stood with 175.43 reservation desk say that is for taxes and fees and it's for them to stay with that money and tells you that the service fee is for 7.99. Don't do reservations with them. They steal your money.

I couldn't believe how bad the customer service was for this company. I still don't understand how they're able to stay in business with the processes they use. I thought I was speaking with the actual hotel and at no time did the representative I was speaking to let me know that they were a third-party and not with the hotel itself. Extremely deceptive!

I booked a reservation through this worthless company and do to COVID-19 I wanted to change the date. They told their system would not let them make any modifications to the reservation because I apparently choose a non-refundable policy. I was not aware of that policy and nor was explained to me while make the reservation. Now I out over $200 for a room i will not be staying in. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Did not identify as "reservation desk" at all. Did not list costs at all... asked for hospital visit discount and still paid the same price as hotel on line price... and $ 25 more than hotel actual price for room... they apparently booked on -line while talking with me... using my information Google search puts them at top of search looking like the Hotel
Learned a new way to loose my hard earned $$ User beware

They guided me to cancel my reservation to book a different room then told me there were no refunds on my room cancellation. I told them that I just wanted to reinstate my reservation then and I would deal with the room. They told me they couldn't reinstate the reservation. In a matter of 15 minutes I was out $150 and had no room. They are scammers. They simply stole $150. I got nothing for it... nothing. Customer service wouldn't budge because they had already charged my card and new they had their money.

Scammers! They told me they where the hotel
They told me that I cant be refund even with the situation of covid-19!
The weddind of my friends has been cancelled because of Covid and they didn't even want to re schedule. Don't make reservation with them!

Reservation Desk are the biggest scammers!
For one when I called initially they led me to believe I was calling the motel directly. I was happy to be able to get my room booked but when the Coronavirus cancelled our travel plans I called them to cancel. According to their policy I cancelled well enough in advance for a full refund. They said 3-10 business days but no refund came. I called back and they argued that because of Coronavirus it is taking longer than usual and that I will get a refund. Now I have to phone my credit card company and hope they protect me when I put in a dispute with this transaction. All I can say is STAY AWAY STAY AWAY! When calling for a room ask if are calling the motel directly. Right now I am out $450.00. When I called both times I spoke with persons with heavy accent and the line was very bad and my voice kept echoing back to me making it very difficult to understand.

SCAM!

I called the 800 number on the website for Hampton Inn Concord, NC. They answered reservation desk. I made a reservation for 5/16/20 to attend my nephews wedding. Covid19 hit and the wedding is postponed. Called Hampton, they informed me the reservation came through get a hotel.com. Called them, they said it came from ReservationDesk.com. Called ReservationDesk.com and was told it was non-refundable. I wanted to deal with Hampton Inn from the beginning and thought I was.
What a scam and I'm out money.

My husband needed to stay overnight at the Marriott Hotel in Baltimore City for a medical procedure in a hospital nearby. I google the Marriot Hotel in Baltimore using the hotel st address. A website with a picture of the hotel pop up. I called the number on the website page. When I called I was under the belief that I was talking directly to a hotel employee. I was quoted a price and the reservation was made. I immediately received an email and noticed that my American Express card was charge immediately and for more than the price I was quoted. They added additional fees without ever telling me about it. I also noticed that the heading on the email was not from the hotel. I called the hotel and they informed me that I have made my reservations through a third party and I need it to call them. I decided to let it go and keep the reservation. However, due to the Corona Virus, my husband's medical procedure was canceled. I called ReservationsDesk.com to cancel our reservation. After almost an hour of waiting, a man answered. He took my information, but I could tell that he was handwriting the information I was giving him. He asked the same questions over and over again. When it was over and he assured me that a refund would be issued to my AMX, I asked for an email confirmation but didn't receive one. I made a follow-up call and was informed that they had no records of me calling to canceled the reservation. They kept my money and refused to help me. I was misled and their customer service was HORRIBLE! Lesson learned. I am disputing the charges with American Express and I will report this company to the Attorney General. I don't know what good that will do, but I will try my best. I am angry!

Do Not! They will act like the hotel itself upon answering the call and then charge you more than you are quoted on phone! They then transfer money to hotel via a credit card and it was even denied! DO NOT! Scam scam scam artist it's leading you! Call your card and put a stop on any payments. This company is not legit or good people in any way

SCAMMERS! STAY AWAY!

I went to what I thought was the website for the hotel in Miami, FL. However, when I clicked on the book it icon I was taken to another site. I did not realize this was not the hotel's private reservation site and attempted to book a room. I received an error message and after reviewing the information, tried to book the room again. It still did not work and as a situation arose that required my attention, I closed out the screen and was planning to call the hotel and make the reservation. I then received 2 emails stating I had 2 reservations under 2 different confirmation numbers later on that day. I had to leave the office so decided I would get in touch with them in the morning and cancel one of the reservations. I called them numerous times trying to resolve this. Talked with the hotel who had not been paid for either reservation and advised me to contest at least the 1 room, which I did. And when we arrived at the hotel, the reservation had still not been paid so we had to pay again. We are now fighting with our credit card company about the SCAM double booking from www.reservationdesk.com and the terrible service they offer. We paid 3 times for 1 room because of their scam! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Stay away from this company! Shady business practices at best, incredible lack of customer service. Advertises themselves as part of Hyatt (hope they find out and cut all ties) will cancel a 1hr old reservation and it took almost that long just to get ahold of company and get anyone to answer.

Worst service ever
August 16, 2019

Reservationdesk.com booked me a room with only one bed when I specifically asked for a room with two beds multiple times. I called to ask why they booked me at a hotel tat only had rooms with one bed in every room. The person on the phone said she would send the complaint to their investigation team and they would review the recording of my reservation and get back to me in 24 to 48 hours. About a week later I got an email telling me it was my mistake. I am 100% sure my recording has me saying "as long as there are two beds in the room I'm happy" so I called asked to listen to the recording. I was told that wasn't possible. When I asked to speak with someone in their investigations department I was told that wasn't possible either. The email said "Please let me know if there is something that I am not understanding or if there is anything else we can do to assist you." I mentioned this statement to the person I was talking to, and she told me to respond to the email. I did respond, and haven't received a reply yet. I don't really expect to, and will chalk this one as a learning experience and take the loss. I will never use this or any other third party booking company again.
