I ordered a set of brake pads from them. Their ad showed a picture showing 4 pads and 6 hardware shims, when they arrived I stripped the old parts off in my driveway and started the install, the plastic wrap inside the box had been slit open and there were no shims. Not being able to wait for a new shipment I bought shims from a local store for as much $ as I paid for the pads. I contacted their live chat and was told "shims not included" My concern was elevated to next level. I asked for nothing other than they correct their ad. They said their disclaimer says actual parts may vary SLIGHTLY in SHAPE and SIZE. They even sent me a screenshot of their ad with a picture that showed the 6 shims. They wouldn't explain how the parts pictured missing were a slight variation in shape or size?. They even said that I should have looked at all the different ads and should have noticed that other companies say hardware included, then I could have deduced that just because they show it in the ad, doesn't mean that it is included This concern went through 3 levels of their Customer Care with about 10 E Mails, and they still refused to answer the questions I asked them. I will never buy from them again

Partsavatar is the worse business to deal with. They quote ships in 24 hours but it ends up being 4-5 days until they ship. Then if they don't have your item they don't tell you, you sit there wondering where your item is until you contact them after a week only to be told we don't have that product. When it comes to getting a refund good luck! No phone numbers to call, never a manager or anyone to speak with. Pathetic

I paid for standard shipping and yet I received my package in record time! The parts were exactly as ordered, and 100% OEM to the untrained eye. My order included parts for my truck-lover boyfriend and he was very satisfied with them. I would order from Parts Avatar again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!

Hi, i ordered from you guys control arms it came to my house but was misplaced somewhere by the carrier so technically i received it late. My car has been at the garage and they we re charging me 50$ A day for the parking till i receive the parts. At the end I told them i want to return the items they told me you will lose 15% and we cannot provide a shipping label. If the carrier didnt misplace the items i would of already installed the parts. I want a resolution, i dont mind paying for the 15% or the shipping but not both of them. Satisfied overall with the parts selection and prices to date. I received a muffler for my Honda delivered in nothing more than a plastic bag. I expect parts to be adequately packaged when shipping from Que to NS, a simple plastic bag for a $360 part is concerning. Additionally, i would like to know when to expect the order at the time of making the order and to receive shipping details within 24 hrs of making the order. Last two purchases i felt the need to contact the company in order to get a ETA for my part delivery, because i had not received shipping notification in 48 hrs.

I had the worse experience with the order. This is my first and last order. I would not recommend to deal with the company. It is do cheap price but you will get a lot of headache. I ordered two lower arms from the same supplier and when received it found that they are both different. The part numbers on the boxes were correct but the part looks differently.

When factoring in the cost of returning the core I could have bought a caliper 10 blocks away for another $3, don't think I'd do it again

Answer: They have terrible customer service and wont stand behind their mistakes (which they will make) or products. Would not recomend this place.
