Unbelievable... Photo speaks for itself.
This should never happen, especially when someone is waiting to park.
I had recently ordered two brake calipers from the online store for pickup at my nearest location; what was sent was two "core" returns (pics). The store I picked them up from won't take them back and Napa doesn't seem to want to forward my case (5+days now). Not only that but I had to purchase two working calipers, and took my used ones back for my "core" deposit and only received $50 on the $80+ "core" deposit! What a load of bull! NAPA CAN GUARANTEE I NEVER SHOP WITH YOU AGAIN!
I purchased 5 quarts of Mobil synthetic oil to get a free cooler. What a JOKE they said they ran out. I sent the form in March 17 2020 with a deadline of April 14 2020 waited 3 months and called to have them then tell me they ran out. Never again NAPA your SUCK
I needed a hard to describe part for a battery. After an extensive web search I found it at Napaonline.com
However, the quantity being sold was some what vague. After receiving the item and only then learning how many where being sold. I wanted to write a review. No luck there. I wanted to update my account. Login credentials didn't work. Reset PW didn't work nor to creating a new acct.
What is the point of showing something as available in 30 minutes when in fact it is not available for days?
Why are you above the city mask requirements?
I'll happily pay triple to NEVER deal with NAPA again.
I've spent a few hundred dollars here over the last couple of months, but no more. I asked for refrigerant for a vehicle and they directed me to buy an expensive can. I did and it was the wrong type, but they would not refund my money because I had tried to connect it to the car's a/c system. I had to remove the plastic bands holding the hose to the can and the manager said he couldn't resale it. First, its false and irrelevant. You could mark it down to cost and someone would be happy to get a full new can at a discount. Second, their sales staff directed me to this specific type which is their error in their advertised field of expertise. You can say what you want about other stores (ex. Autozone) but the customer service of other stores are miles ahead of NAPA. Spread the word, napa is not to be trusted.
Store closed on the weekends because of corona virus, that's fine but maybe it would be a good idea to update your suck $#*! website and set up you phone to go to a voice message so i didn't have to drive 50 miles round trip for nothing!
Try searching something on the website, it's garbage! It's about 15 years behind the rest of the world!
I recently ordered oil that was on sale. I was sent a receipt and the asked me to pay in store. It was forecast to arrive the following tuesday which happened to be 31 March. I never received notification that my order had arrived. I went to the store today and the would not honor the sale price since the sale ended on the 31st. I am done with NAPA. Time will tell if they even survive with the current climate as it is.
Order parts for our Freight Liner truck. Gave the VIN#, year and model of the truck.
Sent the wrong Alt, oil filter, they sent 4 DIFFERENT SHOCKS, none of them are right. Never got the oil.
Was told we could take it to local restore for return. CAN'T. Was told to return them UPS, we did, 3 weeks later they shipped them back saying not returnable.
Local Napa store got it 100% right and truck is all happy and serviced. ONLINE IS 100% sham!
I went to napa in Middletown ct, and had my battery installed by one of the workers there. They then proceeded to check fluids ;) They also gave me new glow plugs for my Prius!...
The sales guy swore these where awesome lights so purchased two on sale for $40. Put them in 2000 Honda CRX - One of the old bulbs died. They where just marginally brighter than the oem bulbs removed and did not throw the light out any farther. I purchased some Philips X-treme Vision +130% bulbs and they are way brighter and cheaper. Also compared them to lights I have in PT Cruiser Sylvania Silverstars and the 5 year old bulbs are brighter even with oxidized lenses.
One thing is that the Napa premium bulbs all have blue coating over entire bulb surface and a gold top. Silver reflects better. Sales gimmick... The envelope was also bigger on the Napa bulbs so the point source is larger spilling out more light on the sides. Since the envelope is bigger the blue coating cut out even more light. Both Sylvania and Phillips bulbs are only 50% coated.
Their parts are over priced, quality sucks and their district supervisors are a joke. They wont answer emails or phone calls half the time. If you ha e a problem your immediate supervisor will just blow it off and nothing will be done about it until it's to late and you wind up either fired or demoted from manager to counter sales with a drastic pay cut and slash in hours. They do this so you will quit then it takes a month or more for them to get off their $#*! to update the system so you can get your 401k out to invest in your new company's 401k system they always have a excuse. Total bull$#*! dont go there for parts.
I went to the NAPA store on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, in Norcross, GA. One guy told NAPA does not install new batteries for customers. It was not true. Some other NAPA stores still install batteries for customers.
What a terible company. Online sales with no customer service. Ordered 2 parts only one shipped. Can never get in touch with them to fix the problem. The parts are marginal. I wish I would have used ebay or any other place but this.
Thank you NAPA. I was stranded in town. A kind person gave me a jump and I drove to NAPA Auto Parts in Roosevelt Utah. They had the required battery and installed it in my car. Thank you NAPA for your 5 star customer service.
THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ALWAYS SUCKS..., THERE PRICES ARE RIDICULOUSLY HIGH ON EVERYTHING..., AND THEY NEVER EVER EVER HAVE ANYTHING I NEED. CLAIM BANKRUPTSY ALREADY AND CLOSE THIS CHAIN OF BS!
I went in to warranty out my two front axles I bought brand new from another location and the only reason I went to this place is because they were the only ones that had them but they told me I had to go back to the store I got them from and get them shipped there! And guess what it's the last hour of there work week and now no one can do anything tell monday! Now I'm left with my car I cant drive for a few days!
Be very careful with any compressor fittings they recommended you to get, they simply don't always fit due to the very poor quality. I was even told by NAPA the fitting looked worn out... but was brand new. Three times more expensive than Trade Tools and are just garbage. Wasted good money when I could have bought a far superior product for a third the cost. Lesson learnt
Parts are just ok but you will pay top dollar. They are very expensive. Beware that online Napa prices are cheaper than stores but still expensive.
I just ordered a set of rear brake shoes for $40 from my local NAPA dealer, I asked if they were made in the USA, and the guy assured me they would be. When they got there, they were Chinese. I could have bought Chinese from Autozone for $22. On top to they they charged me $9 core charge on new shoes, nobody charges a core on new parts!
Answer: A very legit company that has for decades treated me very well.
Answer: Fuel pump for classic roadrunner didn't last 50 miles. I suppose 'success' is lucky i didn't eat a $100 wrecker fee. It never started cold without primer until i replaced the new NAPA fuel pump with another new NAPA fuel pump. At least it starts easy now when cold. After doing job twice. The chevy truck has been yard art for two years, as i don't really have time to do every job repeatedly. The store has the used broken part they charger me $300plus for. This isn't a success story, it's a story of failure, no honor or honesty in store, and non-existent quality control.
Answer: I thought they were a reputable business but I was wrong they are crooks and don't honor their warranty's.
