I hope by writing this review I can prevent at least one person from giving this terrible company money.
I ordered some parts from them and, after waiting a week and not hearing anything, I contacted their live chat to cancel the order and bought the parts locally. Now, several weeks later, they are emailing me the order is in progress and shipping soon. I called to cancel and was told my order is "uncancellable" and "unreturnable". After hours of arguing and multiple representatives, they refused to cancel the order, provide any proof that I agreed to these terms, or provide a transcript of my chat from weeks ago in which I was told it was cancelled. I just received an email the order has shipped so now I'm stuck with these duplicate parts. I tried to cancel multiple times PRIOR to them even ordering the parts from Mopar directly to resell to me.
Had two orders first order was for an air cleaner bracket, and I received a light. Second order came damaged. Their customer service Had two orders first order was for an air cleaner bracket, and I received a light. Second order came damaged. Their customer service is awful and a very not so friendly return customer service is awful. They make it almost impossible to return or exchange anything.
The website is horrible. Find your parts elsewhere! Picked the part I need based on part number, confirmed in the (incorrect) exploded view drawing and (incorrect) photo of the part, and MoparPartsGiant shipped the part for the other side. Now they won't provide a refund and won't acknowledge their problem. Another tip-off is not yet even having 2022 model year data on the website search function.
I had part numbers in hand. I called them and asked if they were in stock. They said yes. The next day I got an email stating the parts are on backorder. I called them and asked about the exact same parts. They told me that they had them in stock AGAIN! They have charged my card. Now I will file a fraud claim. Notice the email has a reply button to click, yet at the bottom it says it's a notification email only and cannot accept incoming email. This joke of a company is a circus with monkeys running it
These people at Mopar Parts Giant are complete crooks! I ordered a new body control module for my 2017 RAM 2500 and I received a USED one! I called them and they said they would reply by email which requested pictures. I sent pictures showing very clearly that this is not only dirty, but you can plainly see that it had been screwed down before. They replied to the pictures saying that it looks new and they would do nothing. I called back AGAIN to argue the point and said I wasn't going to pay $150 to have it programmed to the truck to find out it is bad as well. I ordered a NEW part, NOT a used one...crickets...
Do not order from these guys, unless you want to throw your money away. They will send you a part, unmarked, unwrapped and unlabeled, expecting it to be returned MARKED, WRAPPED AND LABELED!
I ordred parts after checking availability, a day later I received an email with a bill for $41 dollars extra in shipping costs, a day after that I received a yet another email telling me the parts are on back order. I had phoned to confirm availability and price only to be misinforformed!
I ordered a Crankshaft sensor from Parts Giant for my Jeep for approx. $150. It was noted on their website that the part was discontinued and a replacement would be sent to me. I received the part, opened the bag, attempted to install it and it physically would not fit. I took it down to my local Jeep dealer and they said that Parts Giant sent me the wrong part as it was for a PT Cruiser. The Jeep dealer sold me the correct part for 2/3 less of the price of this one. I attempted to return the incorrect part to Parts Giant and they denied the claim because I had opened the bag and they do not accept returns on electrical parts. I explained to them that I had to open the bag to see if it would fit. I found that it would not physically fit so I didn't connect it nor did I go any further with the install. I just put back in the bag to return it. I filled out the RMA form online, sent pictures to them and was denied the claim due to the bag being opened and they don't accept back electrical parts. I called their customer service to talk to live person and explained what happened to the representative, who said she was a supervisor, that the wrong part was sent to me through no fault of my own. They would not budge and denied my claim so now I am out $150 from their mistake. I will not be ordering parts from this place again. Their customer service is horrible!
They send the wrong parts and will not listen to reason in order to return. It's a gamble...why even try. Use anyone else.
Terrible experience, overall. Spent 850 bucks on 3 sets of pads for my Challenger Redeye and Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. All arrived damaged or used or worn or all three. They were just FLOPPING around in the box when they arrived. Poorly packaged USED products. These guys should be ashamed of themselves. The returns process has been a NIGHTMARE. Nobody to talk to. They tell you to email, and then wait 48 hours. Then they respond 2 days later that they need even MORE photos. You send those photos, THEN they argue with you. Absolutely abysmal. I've already ordered from ECM. If you know them, just stay with them. Don't waste your time with these jokers.
I placed what should have been a simple order, 4 rear cargo door hinges, 2 upper, 2 lower. When I received the package from them it only included the 2 upper hinges. I figured the 2 lower hinges were coming in a separate package so I threw out the packaging and label from the shipment without a second thought. Well of course their JOKE of an "RMA" department will not do a THING for me or replace the missing part of my order unless I can send them a picture of the packaging and shipping label! And of course nobody on their end is capable of tracking down the shipping information so that they can see the weight of the package was clearly only for half of the order! Mopar Parts Giant is a clown festival! AVOID AT ALL COST!
Ordered a part. They shipped incorrect part. They are now holding my part/money hostage until I ship their $40 part back. The correct thing to do would have been to apologize and ship the correct part immediately. Fat chance.
There is no way a large clean air duct can be mistaken for a hood latch release(photo). Also the part numbers aren't even a close match. I'm currently disputing the charge with PayPal.
They would not give any company owner information. I'm starting to think mparpartsgiant.com is simply a scam. DO. NOT USE.
Website claimed parts were in stock and would arrive in a few days then kept on sending me emails pushing out the estimated delivery date. Had to call and cancel order. They do not stock anything and lie about it
Purchased a roof rack that MPG specified was the correct part for my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Further, the invoice specified my vehicle. They sent the list number that I ordered. However, it was incorrect and clearly misrepresented by MPG. I filed a return authorization report with the afore mentioned evidence, clearly showing their responsibility. However, they changed "the reason for return", that I had entered with my documentation to "no longer needed)". This is unquestionably dishonest. In authorizing the return, MPG deducted 20% for restocking and refused to cover the return shipping. With the shipping, I am out over $100 with no product. It was 100% their fault and they feel very comfortable stiffing customers. BUY FROM MOPARPARTSGIANT.COM AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Do not buy from MoparPartsGiant. They are crooks! Do not buy from MoparPartsGiant. They are crooks! Do not buy from MoparPartsGiant. They are crooks! Do not buy from MoparPartsGiant. They are crooks!
I ordered a part that was described wrong on this website. Returning the part was a hassle and took over a month to receive my refund and I had to pay to ship the part back. When i contacted customer service to ask where my refund was, they said i hadn't received it because i didn't email them with the tracking number even though the RMA with the order number was printed and in the box with the part. I was also charged a restocking fee on a part that was clearly described incorrectly.
Dealing with customer service is another hassle. When trying to return this part i needed to speak with a customer service rep. I sent a message through the "contact us" tab on the website and received an email trying to help me however you can not reply to the email they send you and have to return to the contact us section of their website to respond to them.
After shipping and the restocking fee i wound up losing money for a part i returned.
Order total $171
Restocking fee. $26
Return shipping. $70
Refund i received $106
I'm out $161 and i don't even have the part. I will never buy anything from this company again and will never recommend it to anyone.
I text chatted with an agent for MoparPartsGiant on April 18th. I told him the make, model, year and vin number and explained that I needed front-left window motor/control. They quoted about $126.00 for the part and $80.00 for express shipping. I ordered the part that day. On April 21 I got a message from them saying the part had shipped. It wasn't shipped that day, it was shipped on April 25th. I called and asked why they notified me that it was shipped when it wasn't. The agent's explaination made absolutely no sense to me. When It arrived on the 26th, I opened the box and immediately saw that they shipped a left rear window motor/control. They look the same but are not interchangable. I contacted them and they referred my case to the Return Merchandise Authorization department I explained the situation and was told they would get back to me by email. Shortly thereafter I got an email stating that my RMA was DENIED because it is an electrical part. It was their mistale, not mine. I appealed but haven't gotten any response. In addition, they charged me several times what it actually cost to ship the 2-1/2 pound package. I need to have my car back in operation so I called another Chrysler parts company called MoparFactoryParts.com. They charge slightly more for the part but their shipping charged are about $55.00 less for onvernight service.
WARNING: MoparPartsGiant has terrible service, they greatly overcharge for shipping and if they make a mistake you might be stuck with a useless part. AVOID MoparPartsGiant.
Ordered a part and was advised a day later that it was no longer available. I should have been advised it was not in stock when I was placing my order. Payment was made and I wonder when I will get a refund.
Horrible inconvenience. Seems like they are operating in a dream.
Ordered a simple paint color code they sent me the wrong one I end up paying for shipping and end up costing me three times the amount and they couldn't even figure out the correct paint code they gave me back partial money with a 20% restocking fee please don't bother buying from this company order from other websites the more reputable.
Ordered an antenna based of the information on the site. My vehicle is in a cross over year and the part was incorrect. Called in and was told no big deal order the new one and we will start the return process. The process is to send pictures of the part, the box the part came in and the shipping box the part box came in...Once submitted as instructed Mopar Parts Giant states they do no accept electronic parts in return. So after jumping through many hoops the final decision was no return. I explained the part, walked through the diagram on the site used to make my purchase...Order the correct part. And was stuck with the wrong one. Very disrespectful of those of us that can actually work thru a problem and come to a "mutual agreement" only to be told NO! This company is a third party and buys from Dealerships, i suspect that since they have no stake in Mopar they will not accept any returns. Lesson learned!
