I've used Lensabl for a number of lens replacements over the years, esp. Quite a few in the past couple years since I had worsening cataracts. Now, one year later, since my last order, I've had cataract surgeries, and now instead of a higher Rx, I needed a much lower Rx. :) In any case, I've always received clear, accurate replacements.
This time it took a little longer than before, but they let me know when I asked. Apparently, quality control flagged them when they were finished, and they had to be redone.
Overall, pleased with results and customer service.

Having purchased a pair of Persol frames online, they needed to have my prescription lenses made. Online reviews consistently place Lensabl in the top 5, so I decided to focus on them. The lens options from Lensabl ticked off all my needs and wants, so I placed my order.
Following their directions found me with my returned eyeglasses a little over two weeks. To me, that's substantial time savings as the last pair I ordered from a different online seller took six weeks to receive.
The lenses are a perfect fit in my frames, and fulfilled all my expectations. Lensabl's quality and service is exceptional, and I know I've found my new go-to eyeglass provider.
Buy online. The brick and mortar stores are way too expensive. All of them quoted me double what Lensabl was and even then Lensabl was able to provide even more. The website UI needs a little work as the timeline wasn't working and it was hard to figure out the status but they came today and I've been rockin them all day.
My dog chewed up my old glasses. Glasses arms were barely long enough to reach my ears and teeth marks on the lenses.
I got some new Bose frames and no one locally would make prescription lenses for them.
So glad I found Lensabl. Lensabl did a great job. Everything is wonderful.

I ordered my lenses on June 14th. I sent my frames the next day, and they were received by Lensabl on June 18th. From June 18 to June 30th, the status of my order on their web site was "Scheduled to ship within six days." It was a lot longer than six days, even longer than six working days. I never got an email with tracking info for my order, but they did finally ship it and I got it after I had left on vacation. Today, I opened the lenses. I cannot see with these lenses as well as with my old lenses. In all fairness, I don't know if it is the fault of the prescription or the company. At any rate, I don't imagine I'll be using them again.
As usual, the glasses were received back in good condition with new lenses. This is my family's 3rd set. This set took a bit longer than usual though.
I sent a pair of Bose frames to Lensable for transitions lenses to be installed. After 3 weeks of not getting any change in status on my order, I sent an email to them, and received notice that my frames were broken during the process. Then I asked more details about where I bought my Bose frames so they could order a replacement frame. Finally, they figured it out and shipped my glasses to me.
The process took way too long, especially when Lensable brags about fast turnaround and the communication was not great; they should have contacted me rather than me having to ask what the status was. As fare as the quality, the lenses are fine and the prescription is accurate, so good job on that part.

You can't cancel or modify your order after you place it. I've been waiting for over a week to hear back from their EMAIL ONLY support (if it even exists) to find out when I might receive my refund which has now been 2.5 weeks since they initially responded and said my order was cancelled.
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, is what everyone should do with Lensabl.
Lenses were great, I could see perfectly. The purple transitions was less than I expected. Really not even sure if they were purple like I selected. Unfortunately I'm not even 100% sure those were the lenses that I ordered because I sent my glasses with the current lenses and didn't get the original lenses back with the new ones.
Took over a month and I'm not sure my prescription is even correct. Had to contact them asking what's going on a month after my initial order with no response. 2 days later my glasses suddenly arrived. Will not use again. I gave this review 2 stars but it's showing 5
Level 3 shade is much lighter than expected. Oakley lenses are a different shape than OEM. Paid for rolled and polished edges, and they don't look polished, they look sanded.
I had to resend my stoggles to have the lens replaced with the warranty. Emailing and communication was easy and quick. I got a reply within 24-28h. From sending to receiving the stoogles back took about 3 weeks. Otherwise I am very happy with the lenses.

I ordered my lenses and sent in my frames in the middle of June. Sometime toward the end of July, I noticed the estimated finish time for the lenses went from 3 days (final review stage) back to 6 days (currently being worked on) and stayed there for about a week. I reached out and was informed that the delay was due to the frames breaking during the working stage. While this is frustrating, I understand these things happen and they appropriately ordered another pair of frames for me to re-start my order. However, I was annoyed because I was not informed of the delay until I specifically reached out. It seems like about 2 weeks could have been removed from the delay had they talked to me about the delay when the frames broke so I could inform them of which new ones to order, but for whatever reason this didn't happen.
I got the completed glasses in the mail this week (Aug 21) and the quality is excellent, and I imagine mistakes like this are rare, but don't send in frames that you can't live without for a while.
My biggest issue is how long it took to get my glasses. It took about a month and a half. I kept checking my account and it would say ready to ship in 6 days and that was for about two weeks. I then got en email saying the first pair of lenses didn't meet quality inspection and had to be remade. I do appreciate the company double checking the lenses but was disappointed for the delay. There is a little swirl blemish in the upper corner of the left lense. I can't tell if it's a logo or a defect.
I have had trouble replacing lenses for really old glasses. These fit well and the prescription is fine.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!

In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
