We had a flight (business) cancelled and put into economy on a different flight. All I wanted was a credit for the difference between these two classes. I started the claim in March 2017 and it is now Sept. 2017 and I still do not have the refund even though I have been continually promised prompt attention in 24 to 72 hours. All this time they have had all the documentation they required. This is the most non-responsive company I have ever dealt with. Any company can get five stars during good times. The real test of a good company is when a customer service situation occurs. Let's see what this supervisor can do for me.

Horrible Company

I really don't care how cheap their tickets are I will Never book through them. I would advise anyone not to book through them. Puerto Rico is damaged and all they want is your money! I can't get a dollar back! $646 down the drain. They want to charge a cancellation fee $150 per ticket and then a booking fee of $200 per ticket when I book again with a supposedly credit! What credit a total SCAM and joke. Please anybody everybody don't book with them I wish I had read the reviews before I booked my flights. Lesson learned and a costly one! Horrible!

The worst airline EVER!
September 23, 2017

Their insurance policy is a scam! You can just cancel the flight on the same day you bought it! I paid for insurance 20$ per person. Now except that they want to charge me an extra of 150$ for canceling my tickets (2 tickets) and get the rest in credit for future flights. So it means:
I paid - 352$ for 2 people+ 40$ for insurance + 150$ for cancel the tickets = 542$!.
And they want to give me 200$ in credits for future flies!

Thats a total scam don't get close! They are just trying to take your money.

As an online travel agency, we do offer 24 hour cancellation as per the airline's fare rules. However, even though a ticket is purchased within 24 hours, all changes or cancellations will have fees. During the 24 hour window, since change fees are typically higher than the cancellation fee, our agents will offer to cancel your flight for $75 per passenger with a full refund. (only one was charged to you since second passenger is an infant) There is a brief description of these fees at the bottom of your confirmation email as well as in our Terms and Conditions. Thieves and scammers

TERRIBLE! If I could rate them a 0 I would have! Booked a reservation for a flight for my son who is a minor, I used my credit card. I wanted to cancel flight, they will not let me due to the fact thay my information is not on the ticket!? Gladly took my money to pay for the ticket but will not refund you?! My minor son can call or email to make the change. Makes no sense! DO NOT USE THEM!
The reason I called to cancel was a hour after I bought booked the flight they sent me a way better deal! As a company they are misleading and dishonest!

I have placed to less then 18 to 20 telephone calls to this company "Justfly"to get a refund from a cancelled trip, which was promised, by way of e-mail, to happen with 7 days. Now I am being told 6 to 8 weeks, and I have my doubts if any refund will be forthcoming. The carrier "WestJet" has already acknowledged they are not the ones holding up the refund. I have contacted various carriers to inform them of who they are dealing with. Compounding the difficulty, by way of telephone and e-mail is communicating with people who totally lack language skills, and often do not understand or fail to understand what is being said, or how to deal with this process. I tried to ask for a Supervisor, to no avail and have requested answers to various e-mails, which have been totally ignored. What begs the question; DO YOU AS A CONSUMER WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY?

Complete scam

I have never had such a terrible experience while booking a trip. These thieves don't advertise any of their additional fees. They would not refund me despite my flight destination being DESTROYED by the hurricanes. They would only give me a credit (after a hefty unadvertised cancellation fee). The credit could only be used to go to the initial destination which is so ridiculous (any other airline company allows you to use the credit wherever but this website is such a scam). The destination no longer exists; I will never be able to use this credit. I also had purchased flight insurance which apparently does NOTHING. Their entire operation is shady. I would advise anyone and everyone to avoid this website at all cost. Book through regular airline sites and you will not lose money and be ripped off. Shame on justfly.

I recently bought tickets through Kayak from JustFly.com. JustFly.com confirmed the price from Kayak but they charged my credit card $250 more than the ticket price, After numerous emails and phone calls and although in emails they admit they need to refund me this amount, almost two months later I have received nothing. That is the short story... the long one is 10 times longer... So, tonight only... submitted BBB complaint, disputed amount with credit card, wrote to Kayak to stop supporting and promoting the thieves of JustFly.com, and wrote a couple of reviews. If nothing else, at least I feel I contributed something to the world the last couple of hours:-) Bottomline: if you book with JustFly, you might as well as give your credit number to thieves.

UPDATE: A week after my complaint to BBB, credit card and kayak, JustFly returned the $250 to my credit card. I guess that is the only way to get JustFly to do the right thing.

Poor customer service
September 14, 2017

I booked a last minute round trip flight through Justfly due to a death in the family. I purchased cancellation insurance thinking in the event I need to cancel and change, this will provide a benefit (the details of the cancellation ins was not explained when I purchased it.

After realizing I needed to stay a few days longer, I contacted justfly to see what they could do to change my flight. After a very long wait time, I talked to a rep that was very difficult to understand. They indicated the flight I booked (almost $800 RT from LA to NJ) was non-refundable and I would need to purchase a new ticket. Apparently the cancellation ins only provided cancellation 24 hours prior to departure. After several calls and emails, I was able to get a flight for an addition $213.
I understand now that I should have purchased a one way flight, however due to the circumstances, I expected Justfly customer service to be more reasonable and accommodating. NEVER AGAIN

Very Easy

I started off knowing the time frame I was able to go, the site showed me the cheapest options, different flight options, and was even able to chose a different flight combination. This was the 2nd time using this site, but will continue to use it for any other flights that I have.

RIP OFF

I used this company to book a flight- due to weather conditions I wanted to adjust date or destination- per JUSTFLY airline will charge penalty of $173 per person for date change destination is not an option -Called Interjet-airline-advised me that does not seem accurate- So who is lying?

No words can express how awful Justfly is. Exorbitant fees is the least of your worries. They canceled my flight claiming I agreed to it when I did not. Over 6 hours of calls to resolve to no avail. If I listed all the bad stuff about them I would have blisters. Stay away it doesn't matter how cheap it is it is not worth it.

They are SCAM!

I am never ever going to book any flight again here. I bought both - extended cancellation policy and CSA protection plan. Despite then, when i had to cancel flight due to hurricane irma since i had to leve early, they do not give any refund. I called them at least 10 times spent at least 1 hour each time, NOTHING! There reps are from China and simply wont understand english

Like other reviewers on the site, we booked our tickets through JustFly because it was the cheapest and quickest booking engine. In this case, you sure do get what you pay for. I've had to call into the customer service hotline 7 times to execute a simple name change as we booked our honeymoon prior to getting married and therefore had to use my maiden name and passport details. There was no other way to book the tickets. What a hassle and the change is still not complete - I get to call back in 48 - 72 hours and on top of this, they are charging $75 when a previous agent had told me $50. Last time we use this site.

UPDATE - After seeing my negative review, the JustFly social media team followed up, asking for my reservation details to send to the "Escalation Team" and someone would follow up with me with a resolution. After waiting 5 days for a follow up, I called back in to see if there has been any progress. I'm currently still on hold after an AN HOUR AND 30 MINUTES. My credit card was charged $75 over 11 days ago for the name change and there has been zero progress. I've changed my name on 3 other flights which were all booked before I was married. I physically can not get on this flight without the name change being executed and have no idea why this is so difficult for JustFly to do. Again, I've never experienced such poor customer service.

What a blessing - such a capable agent when nothing was possible -no websites were working and my son was so sick, has been to hell and back - they recommended evacuation - the guy stayed on the line with me until my son was safely organized to avoid Hurricane Irma. Nice job people - never heard of you before today and you will be my go-to booking site. One very grateful mom.

I saw negative posts about justfly.com, but like all reviews about anything - there are usually negative reviews. Someone will always complain. So I didn't think about it... but now that I used them, I believe they are a FRAUDULENT company. They canceled my outbound flight without my authorization on a trip to Italy for my brothers wedding. I spent at least 8 hours on the phone with them ( multiple calls). They sound real nice ( although English is hard to understand). But they continually claim it's the airline, and not them, that is changing the flight... finally I went to the airport. The delta airline agent called them and justfly.com even claimed to the delta agent that Delta was the problem, even though I was at the delta airlines counter and they assured me the issue was justfly.com. So we caught them in their lie... Delta agent ended up hanging up on them, apologized and issued a new ticket for me... delta agent was an angel. PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED by them. If u look at reviews, u will see this is a consistent pattern.

Super thrilled

I booked 33 days in advance. The price couldn't be beat even with Justfly's fee. The entire trip was flawless. I didn't have a single issue at either airport leaving or returning. Considering it was during the labor day holiday I had my doubts. No need! I will definitely book through Justfly in the future. I chose Delta premium economy and everyone was very professional and considerate.

SIMPLY HORRIBLE

I'm trying to get out south Florida, due to Hurricane Irma, and I booked a flight with Justfly, so not only they took my money, without tell me that all the airports around South Florida canceled their flights, but now I had to pay a $ 75 fees in order to get my refund, I thought it was a joke, but unfortunately was not.

If your booking falls in the airlines parameters, then we will gladly do the changes no fees! However, in your case, your reservation was booked and cancelled on September 6th. The change fee may be waived if you:

Are traveling on an American Airlines flight
Bought your ticket by September 5,2017
Are scheduled to travel September 5 - 17,2017
Can travel September 5 - 30,2017
Change your origin or destination city within 600 miles
Rebook in the same cabin or pay the difference

Since you made the booking after September 5th, we had to fall into regular Terms and Conditions. We understand the frustration that surrounds this so we have gone ahead and refunded the $25 per passenger cancellation fee. We are so sorry this happened to you but the agents are just following procedures as they do not have any authority to waive these fees!
