I needed to create an account with the IRS and ID.me made the process of creating the means to sign in securely very easy and intuitive. The whole setup took 4-5 minutes and now I have a secure method to interface with several government websites.
I had to get information to complete my taxes for last year. Had no problems filling in any information was missing. Easy and fast.
H&R Block made error entering Bank Account number. Return was delayed, finally went on line with some trouble to update Bank information.

The process was reasonably easy. I just followed the instructions being careful to answer each and every question that was asked
You will be asked to upload photo ID (DL, passport, etc.), after which you will be asked to share a live selfie. If you are using your cell phone, make sure your camera is allowed access to your browser (e.g. Safari for iPhone users). On your phone, go to Settings>Apps>Safari, then scroll down to Camera and click on "Ask" or "Allow". I believe the default setting is "Deny". Once you allow your camera access to your browser the rest is self explanatory and easy.
It took me hours to set this up. The explanations were poorly worded and contradictory. Taking the selfie was extremely difficult and required multiple tries. I was told to take off my glasses for the selfie, but then couldn't read the instructions! The selfie made me look like an anime monster, was not a true likeness of me; was this supposed to be normal? I had to shuttle between 2 devices— my iPad and my iPhone—to complete the process! The whole experience should be streamlined! And it was never made clear why we should be doing this instead of sticking with EFTPS!
