Booked a hotel in UK. Money removed from credit card. On arrival at hotel it had no record of the booking, and was full. Hotelwiz refused to refund, and their email responses are fatuous and don't address the factual issues.
It was easy to book and you had the best rates. I received confirmation almost immediately.
The site changed my date, I called right away and the lady told me that it was impossible for that to happen and there is nothing they can do! She said it is not refundable or changeable. Will NEVER use this site again. Booked through hotel directly so now have double paid!

Good value and best price of all the sites i researched. I would have liked to see information about the room (bed size, room size, etc) but was able to find it elsewhere…just annoying to need another site for the info.
I made a reservation and the dates were wrong and I want to change them. It was a nightmare. I had to make a new reservation and pay for the new reservation and that is where I have the problem. They do not cancel my first reservation and they do not give me credit until now.
It was the cheapest deal for this hotel but I couldn't get my invoice for work so I recommend this site for personal trips.
I booked through hotel wiz online for a one room 2 queen size beds. The receipt that I received states room type = standard. So I call the next day just to make sure I got my 2 queen size beds. No I did not they gave me a room with a king size bed. HotelWiz said sorry past the 24 hours you can't cancel. So I called Best Western and they said they have specific room types for those online specials so if I wanted the 2 queens size beds I would have to pay an additionl $80 over the already $240 price tag. They wouldn't change their mind so I told them I wanted to cancel. They said I can't. Horrible online service and customer service! Never use Hotel Wiz or Best Western Hotels again!
I was charged 3 times but refunded...but all with different names which was weird...gives you the doubt
I had to change my dates and the lady could not move them so she cancelled my reservation and now for hours have been trying to rebook the room and the site is froze thinking trying to process the room but won't book it and when she tried to rebook it it wouldn't work either and I have court so I need a room and now I'm stressed
The hotel was great - very clean, easy to get to from the Winnipeg airport, great front end staff, and a fantastic staff in the breakfast room. My only concern was that while most other guests that I noticed had breakfast vouchers. I did not. The front desk said that the "3rd party" that I booked through did not offer that in their package.
I drove 10 hours to a place I expected to rest halfway on a 24 hour drive to have the no records of my name in the hotels system. I had to pay again after my wife already paid online.
I'm a hotel GM. Checking into legal options to pursue to get you to quit selling our rooms for the wrong rate.
