I was apprehensive to order from Glasses USA because of the mixed reviews. However, because my spouse ordered from them and had a good experience I figured I'd take my chances. I placed my order March 31st and was rather surprised how quickly they processed my order through the weekend and had it shipped that Monday. Great! About a week later the post office says they delivered it to my mail box however there's nothing there. Of course this is not Glasses USA's fault but here is where I take issue with them. And that's how they handled my concerns and request for refund.
It's nearly impossible to get actual assistance over the phone so all of my outreach has been via chat. I submitted a refund request on their website and was told by chat to allow 1-2 business days for an update. Well, the only update I got was telling me to check with neighbors and my mailbox - all of which I've done PRIOR to asking for a refund. I even contacted the post office who eventually admitted they couldn't locate the package/misplaced it. Again, I'm not faulting Glasses USA for that, however, their help on the matter has been utterly poor and nonexistent. I've gotten nothing but the run around trying to get my refund. It's now two weeks since placing my order and I have no glasses, no refund, and chat constantly saying to wait an additional 1-2 days for an update. Mind you, I've been told this about 2-3 times already.
I do not recommend them. Sure, some may have a positive experience and I was really hoping I would be one of them, however, my experience turned out to be a nightmare. After getting the constant run around, I ultimately decided to dispute the charges with my credit card. They can deal with the charge back from them since they don't want to issue my money back!
I won't recommend it for people who need their reading or distance glasses within a week. It's about two weeks that I haven't received my glasses.

I had used GlassesUSA in the past, and went back to them when I needed a different prescription after cataract surgery. The glasses were ordered on Nov 16,2022, and arrived (regular and sunglasses) but I couldn't see well out of them; I eventually brought them to my opthamologist, who told me that they had been made incorrectly. I verified that I had entered the correct prescription into the GlassesUSA.com website - they were. I verified that the glasses were not the prescription on that website - they were not. Both glasses had the same error.
I contacted them on Jan 15, Jan 19, Feb 15, Mar 7, and April 10 -- all trying to get a RMA so I can send the glasses back and have them made to the correct prescription. I have provided scans of my doctor's reports (twice). I have done everything that has been asked, yet STILL cannot get anyone to provide an RMA, make the glasses to the correct prescription, and send them back to me. It's been FOUR MONTHS AND I NEED THESE GLASSES
I've wasted soooo much time on this problem and it's still not resolved. Ordered 2 pair of expensive curved sport glasses. Received the glasses, but only one case. I've emailed, had 3 chat sessions, and several phone call attempts which no one EVER answers. If you are going to sell curved "sport glasses" like I ordered, then you should also stock appropriate cases for those glasses. Telling me, "sorry, we no longer have that frame in stock and therefore we don't have their case is unacceptable for a spend of $740. What happened to the case that originally came with those frames? I was finally told you would send me a case, but I specifically told the person, only send it if it will FIT the glasses I ordered. Well it finally arrived and the case is not made for curved sport glasses and IT DOES NOT FIT. PROBLEM UNRESOLVED! How about offering to refund me $20 so I can go and buy the case I need?
4/10/23 UPDATE: Apparently GlassesUSA monitors reviews here. They have send me a $20 refund, which is much appreciated. Hopefully they see this update too. It never should have come to this; needing to complain on a public forum to get results. Customer service needs to change! The numerous people that I was in contact with should be trained to know the products you are selling and make things right when something goes wrong. I liked every other aspect of your company. As a result of the refund, you have not lost a customer. I hope next time things go more smoothly, but I will not hesitate to change this review once again should they not.

I ordered prescription sunglasses 3 weeks before a vacation, based on the site's estimate that production would take 6 business days and shipping would take 3-5. So far, 10 business days have passed and the order is still "in production." I am worried that my order will not be delivered in time so I called their 7-day customer service. Nearly all the telephone options just give prerecorded messages. I finally found that the only option to speak to a real person is to choose "pay for upgrades" to my order. I asked that person when my glasses would ship, he didn't know. I then asked if I could upgrade shipping to overnight, he didn't know how to do that either. I would really like timely help from an actual person who could help. Maybe someone will read this review and help me?
Update: I did get a response from an actual person (Drew) by Messaging the company on Facebook. Production does not work today (Sunday) but Drew requested they tag my order as urgent and update me on progress, so we'll see what the status is tomorrow.

This company/website is a freaking JOKE. It will take you more than a month just for a return and refund. Unfortunately my refund is "still in process" as when i tried to update about it. They wont even update their website that they received the return already even if usps confirmed delivered. Ridiculous..

Ordered glasses from glasses USA on March 6. Said it would be about 2 weeks til shipping. Ok fine. March 20th, I receive an email that says 'unforeseen circumstances out of our control blah blah we will have your order shipped within 6 business days'. That would make it shipped by March 28. Fast forward to April 6, one whole month after my glasses were ordered, i contact them about my order to which they say it will be days before its ready, so i decide to cancel. I have to fill out a refund request and it should be all taken care of, per the live agent in chat. No joke, I recieve an email the next day saying my order is shipped. Re contact the company, and they tell me there's nothing they can do and now I'm gonna have to go through the return process even though I canceled the order the day prior. I ordered glasses through another site, and now it looks like I'll be receiving both orders around the same time. 5 weeks for single vision lenses and frames vs 1 week from the other site. These people should be embarrassed. I'll never shop with glasses usa again.

I refuse to wear contacts due to my difficulty of putting them in and taking them out, so I decided to order prescription sunglasses from Glasses USA. They have plenty of styles to choose from even though the try on feature seems very cheesy and cartoonish. I hope to receive them soon and update on how they fit, but so far my only complaint is the shipping time. Thankfully, I understand that there are delays and time has to be put forth into making glasses. I also appreciate the availability to Klarna, as I am a college student and prefer to make payments to spread out among my paydays.
I purchased a pair of MontBlanc glasses, they arrived and were damaged. I asked to return them and was offered an exchange with express shipping after 3 weeks my Ray Ban glasses arrived and the lens was popped out of one side. I couldn't get them to pop back in so I asked for an exchange and was told they don't fix glasses they can only exchange them and a refund is not allowed. It has been 2 months and I am still waiting to get my glasses exchanged/replaced or just a refund. Customer Service is never any help and I provided my tracking info to show they have been returned and they seem to have lost the returned glasses and it is delaying my exchange. What a nightmare of a process.

I've been ordering from GLASSESUSA for a couple of years. I've never had an issue with my order until recently. I called the 1800 they provide with lots of available time to call. I call and all I get is a repeated messages redirecting you to their chat or online platform. You NEVER get a real person to talk with on the phone. They messed up my prescription that I submitted for 2 pairs of glasses. So I had to send them both back only to get one pair sent back to me with the same issues. So I had to send them back again. Trying to get an update is horrifying. Since you can never actually speak to a real person on the phone, you never get an accurate update on orders or refunds. All the messages redirect you to their chat or online platform advising to check updates there, however. They never update anything for weeks so you never know the status of your order. Its just a huge frustration to say the least. I would think twice about dealing with GLASSES USA

I have ordered them on March 22,2023 and I have yet received them. I paid extra for express shipping which is 3-5 business days. Tracking your order is useless as it doesn't update nothing. Everything is a bot and you cannot connect with a human. I can't give a rating on the glasses because I havent even gotten them yet!

I had some Rayban glasses made for more than 300 dollars, they sent them to me with a defect, I have not been able to use them and I cannot make claims for having spent 15 days, I threw away my money and they did nothing to help me, I do not recommend glass usa and be careful, arnaldo

Ordered prescription sunglasses for an upcoming vacation. I went with this company because their production times were better than the competition. They state "About 6 Business Days". When you reach out to them after 6 business days they just keep telling you the same thing "6 business days". There is a broken communication here because their customer service staff is not US based, and they also have no power to do anything. I found many other people who had the same experience. Look this company up and read others experiences. Dont be fooled by their star rating. They over promise, under deliver and take no ownership for any of it.

Ordered a pair of glasses and I could not see with them so I contacted them which is very difficult time after time after time finally sent them into them first of February took three months back. I sent two pairs to him that I needed changed from previous orders and they sent one back so far three months later. Very terrible. Customer service would not recommend them if you think you're going to have a problem. Whenever I search the order numbers that were sent back they don't show up. I have to call him and stay on the phone for half an hour 45 minutes terrible.

This is my second and possibly final order with GlassesUSA. I ordered contacts with expedited shipping on Monday and had not received an update after two days, so I finally contacted them for an update. There is no customer service. There is no live person on the phone, bot chat system and emails were never responded to. Just lack in the communication department

Glasses USA is the worst eyeglasses company-beware. They are all extremely incompetent and engage in dishonesty.
I first placed an order with glasses usa about a month ago. They sent me ny glasses with the wrong prescription even though I uploaded my prescription as soon as I placed the order. I contacted them as soon as possible and they promised to mail me new glasses with correct prescription as soon as my incorrect glasses were in transit. They failed to do this and I had to contact them multiple times and everytime I contacted them I had to explain the situation again and again. They said in order to compensate me they would provide express shipping when they shipped my new glasses.
They failed to mail out my glasses when promised and even sent them standard shipping. Due to this inconvenience, they promised to issue me a partial refund-to this date I still have not received it.
I finally received my new glasses and they have the wrong prescription on them AGAIN even though I uploaded my prescription as soon as I placed my order.
I don't understand how a company can be completely incompetent so many times. Please beware-They provide poor customer service and do not follow up on resolutions. They are all extremely incompetent and do not care about their customers.
Their lack of professionalism is completely unacceptable. Glasses USA already messed up my order once-this is the second time. I am by far disappointed in their level of service. I need full refund issued at once. My hood is that they improve their level of service. I don't know how a company can mess up so many times.
I need a refund immediately or I will be contacting my credit card company, and the better business bureau. Everyone please beware of this awful company.

I purchased a pair of prescription sunglasses (Ray Ban) from GlassesUSA. The first time that I wore the sunglasses, one of the prescription lenses fell out. The company advised me the issue occurred outside the 14- day window. They would sell me a replacement for $150. This feels like a scam to me. I took the nonprescription lens and put it in the glasses, and it fits perfectly. I don't think I'll be purchasing anything else from GlassesUSA.

2nd attempt to get prescription sunglasses thru Glassesusa: 1st pair came with clear prescription lenses (not tinted/ shaded as requested). So I returned to be corrected. 2nd pair came, again, WITH CLEAR LENSES! AM RETURNING FOR REFUND. Very dissatisfied, disappointed. I feel very sorry for this company. Jeff Daigle

Answer: So far it's been a month and still NO glasses, or tracking info. Much longer than the seven to ten buisness days- in Still waiting.
Answer: I got the same B. S. handed to me. After more than double the stated time and lack of response, I cancelled my order and notified my credit card company.

Answer: Our production times vary between each prescription and lens type we produce. By far our glasses are produced and delivered before the times stated in our shipping policy. In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. This unfortunately means that we have to start again from scratch, but as a rule we do not send out any glasses that did not meet our quality standards. Shipping times are unfortunately mostly beyond our control as we depend upon our carriers to deliver the products in a timely manner. Our delivery department works toe to toe with all of our carriers to make sure our glasses are delivered as promptly as possible. We also offer a variety of shipping options that ensure a faster delivery for any interested customers, but our customers need to keep in mind shipping times do not include production time. Our customer service is available by phone, email, chat and social media around the clock, 24\7. We can be easily reached at any time, including weekends and holidays at all times to answer any questions and concerns. Our dedicated customer service team works around the clock to make sure any and all issues are taken care of. We are always working on improving all of the above, whether by opening new facilities, working and negotiating our agreements with carriers or expanding our customer service team and making them more efficient. Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
