Purchased glasses in June and 2 months later the frames have broken due to no fault of my own. Website says 365 day warranty yet all they would offer is a 50% store credit. Inferior products with poor customer service.
I ordered a pair of glasses on their website. Credit card gets charged. Never receive any confirmation email following the purchase. I email them several times about the purchase, and several days later someone sends me the tracking # to my purchase. Ok. When the package finally comes (I kid you not), I find an empty case with NO glasses inside. Annoyed, I contact the customer service about this and request a refund. They tell me that they don't offer refunds and cite one of their "terms and conditions" that states something like: 'we are not responsible for your product after it ships'.
I have never had a worse experience with any vendor/retailer in my life. Every interaction I had with them throughout the last couple weeks has been negative. The customer service is horrid. This is a borderline scam operation. Please save yourself the hassle and STAY AWAY from these crooks. I do not know how they are still in business.
Beware read the reviews before you order. Who doesn't know if it's to good to be true, it's not true? I guess me. Trying to save a dollar and this company has caused me more stress than it's worth. Could have already had my glasses if I went else where.
I cancelled the order before the glasses were even made. They keep charging my credit card and now have the card company involved. Unless you intend to keep don't purchase from them.
Takes days to process a form or prescription... when asked if we could speed it up, they said I could buy expedited shipping.
Do not buy from this company. Yes emailing them very bad. I had bought several pairs before but last pair I couldn't see anything. I sent them back and asked for my money back. They will not give me my money. They gave me a credit and I did not want the credit and they will not give money back after a credit. This is not right. I would have bought again from them but not now.
I ordered two pairs of glasses a month ago and have yet to receive either pair. Each week for 4 weeks I emailed them asking what the hold up was and each week I got this response: "Unfortunately, we found something wrong with the pair you ordered which has resulted in the following delay. Dont worry, were already crafting another pair for you as we speak and it should take no more than 4 business days and then it will be shipped out." Obviously it is a lie, or I would have received them by now. I then requested a refund and still haven't received it. This is the worst company ever.
The first pair of glasses I ordered were okay. I got an email that the money was taken out of my account but never received a confirmation or any other update about my glasses. I emailed CS to make sure everything was okay. It took 5 back and forth emails for them to tell me they have my order. Emailing them was awful. They clearly do not want to help and do the bare minimum, it was so frustrating! The format is sloppy and you have to find were the CS person replied to. It was just very sloppy and embarrassing for their company. Anyways, I get my glasses in a timely manner. Cool. I was just hoping I wouldn't have to deal with their customer support.
Come to find out, I need to return my glasses. It took me over 2 weeks to get the return shipping label. My emails went unanswered or just with a a generic message. I had to call and tell them that if they didn't refund my money and give me the shipping label I would just have the financial institution take the charge off. Such. A. Pain.
Second pair of glasses was ordered 6/16/17. It is 7/17/17 and I still have not received my glasses or have had any communication about this.
Seriously. Go somewhere else. The price isn't worth the people and the hassle you have to deal with.
When they were new, they cared, now not so much. Rude customer service, botched inter communications, promises undelivered, slow response time, anti glare lasts about a month. Very cheap hardware and lenses, may work for quick fixes,, but bad, bad bad

One Star rating is too good. Price to good to be true... well it is. Total Scam operation. Still waiting on a refund and my 2nd pair never arrived. They take your money and never give you what they promise. Thats if they ship them at all. STAY AWAY
This company doesn't pay attention to it's shipping details and then make the customer track down there own orders and won't even offer to make it right.
The glasses I bought had a broken weld within 3 to 4 months. They would only refund half the money period despite the fact that they said a 365-day warranty from the manufacturer was in effect. Stay away from these scam artists you will be ripped off if anything goes wrong despite the good prices
GlassesUSA.com was contracted to prepare a pair of multi-focal lenses in a wireless frame. The original order was botched with one lens misattached to the frame in a manner that altered the prescription. I chose to have a replacment produced and sent original glasses back. It took 2 weeks for replacements to begin being processed, after multiple calls and emails, and then the item, which shipped from Thailand, was not delivered as claimed by UPS. I asked for a refund and "customer service" balked at returning my money after almost 60 days and no glasses. GlassesUSA is a fraudlent company and NO ONE should waste time and money with them!
Quite simply, the glasses did not work out and I received an RMA number to return. I returned the glasses on June 2nd and they received them on June 6th. I only wanted a store credit and NOT a full refund! I am still waiting for the credit so I can buy another pair. I have sent numerous e-mails to find out when I will get my store credit and they just keep sending me e-mails that they will have a "vision care specialist" contact me. It is now June 16th and once again it is handed off to a specialist. Also I was on the website and selected the "chat" feature to hopefully speak with someone but it was just another area to "leave" a message for someone to contact me! I will NEVER do business with GlassesUSA again and I will tell anyone and everyone to STAY AWAY!
This company does not provide any real customer service. I placed an order for 2 pairs of prescription sun glasses. Due to the long delay in processing, I had to upgrade shipping for a pending trip. They only sent 1 pair. For an entire month, I went back and forth via email and phone trying to cancel and obtain a refund for the pair not sent. For the first few weeks, they claimed it was on the way, and I would have to wait and return for a refund. Then I got two phone calls from a rep with half a brain who stated he would send the issue off to shipping.? Still no confirmation or refund. Then, in an ah ha moment, I remembered that I used Paypal. It was only after paypal got involved that they confirmed the glasses had never been shipped. The company told me to close the dispute before they could give me a refund. When I attempted to do this, I got an automated warning that if the case was closed - no further dispute was possible for this item. I sent another message via paypal that I could not close the dispute until I received a refund. No response. Now - I have escalated the dispute. It's in Paypals hands now. And I believe it is the only way this will ever get resolved. It isn't even the money - its the flagrant incompetence and arrogance of using stall tactics at every turn. I guess some just give up over time in total frustration. DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Rip off. Made somewhere across the globe certainly for a tiny fraction of what you pay and they are not even well made. Stay away.
They screwed up my last two orders. My last order (which never arrived) was shipped from Israel over two months ago. Not from the USA. The company name is very misleading. Worst customer service never! They robbed me of $435.95.
I got these glasses for 26.00 (i used a promo code)
I was skeptical after all the bad reviews but I was like whatever, its only 26.00 right.
I got my glasses (2 weeks after i ordered) today, and they are great. I bought them as a back up pair (i usually wear contacts, but sometimes my eyes get allergies and contacts irritate them bad). I like them so much I am about to order an off the wall patterned pair just for fun.
I feel sorry for everyone who had a negative experience because my glasses are bomb.
Beware this company - It's going on week 3 waiting on my 1.25 reader glasses and they still haven't been shipped. I asked 5 days ago to cancel the order, only to be told I could not cancel. According to the description on the website, my glasses were to take 3 days. I can't get a timely response from customer service. Some responses taking 3 business days. And their BBB rating is an F with 196 complaints. I should have researched better before ordering. Order #******* placed on May 15,2017

Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
