Order was made early Nov. 3 weeks later I called to check on order and was told that I need to confirm all of the order was for me. ( three pairs of progressive's with my name on the prescription) with that out of the way, nothing came. Late Dec. They admitted order was lost. No supervisor available. They will call me back in three to 5 days. NO CALL ever came. Finally, the credit card company had to help me reclaim my $1000 usd. No Glasses, no explanation, no supervisor, Horrible scam company. Stay away!
Age is catching up, "cheaters" no longer are enough. I need bifocals, and the $400 price my Dr's office suggested startled me. I got a 1/2 coupon from glassesusa and thought to myself," heh... maybe I can get the same ones for $200" I will put the readers digest version of my experience".
First my pet peeve... I get at least 4 emails weekly. Upon subscription before Tgiving, by Nov 27th, the price was reduce to 60 off. I took the time to shop and chose my glasses... lo and behold, none of the codes provided any where CLOSE to the discount promised... but I heard, you order does not qualify for code provided. My "discounted" glasses ended up costing nearly exactly what I was to pay locally, which supports the town I live in.
And to add insult to injury, though I have unsubscribed to the site, and still receive 2 or 3 solicitations per week. Disappointed at best!

Called with a question re a promotion coupon that did not WORK when entered. Support person was difficult to understand when asked for a supervisor, they hung up. Never again. Also wondering, 24 hours availability. Is this really located in USA? Buyer beware, wish I would have checked ratings and comparisons with other online glasses
Easy ordering. They emailed me, and kept me updated on what proces my glasses were in. I had a question about my prescription, and they responded back quickly. My eye doctor was going to charge $225, but Glasses USA only charged $95. Great company if you need glasses. I will be a returning customer.

I swear to you you will make a mistake! I bought a pair of glasses 3 weeks ago. Shipping ONVIOUSLY says 7-10 business days. I wanted to know why it was taking so damn long to get my frames. I ONLY BOUGHT THE FRAMES NO PRESCRIPTION because I was going to take the frames to my optometrist where my lenses were already paid for. So I called the number to speak to a representative i get the run around and Im told I have to go on the website to fill out a form to cancel my order which was still in production. First, she tells me that it takes 6-7 days for production. Second, they are taking to quality assurance which will take 2 days. Third, they will be shipped out then that will take 7-10 business days. FALSIFYING THEIR SHIPMENT PROCEDURE AND INSTRUCTIONS. I just hanged up. I called again a fellow answered and said he had to send me a link to my email for the cancellation he said that the form wouldnt be on the website. So the first representative lied. Anyways then he said it would take 30 DAYS for my refund process. It takes 5 seconds for you to get my payment but 30 days for you to give me a refund. $#*! BYE.

They are the worst company to deal with. Took me close to 2 months to get a refund and I only got one once I got my credit card company involved. I WILL NEVER SHOP OR RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY.
NEVER EVER AGAIN. Terrible communication internally. To be fair they do email you back, but they're very unhelpful. I honestly do not know how they're still in business. I also normally never do reviews but I'm seeking out all review sites about Glasses USA to post my experience as I don't want any human being on earth to ever have to go through such a horrible shopping experience. AWFUL!

I would rather spend the $300 dollars on a pair of glasses from the eye doctor than have to deal with this company again. Every time i order glasses from them the prescription is way off. Ive never ordered from them and not had to return/exchange at least twice. The prices of their glasses may be low but it does NOT make up for their poor customer service. Its takes about 3 months to get your glasses back from them after returned and it takes about a week to 2 weeks to get a reply via email. I will never recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and just stay way from Glasses USA.
I ordered two pair of bifocal glasses. Several days AFTER I placed my order and paid for it, I got an email saying that my "prescription is too large for a bifocal lens" but strangely enough, they could make them in progressives for more money, of course. There is absolutely no reason why my order was accepted if there are restrictions such as this; such restrictions should be part of their online order processing (in BASIC programming lingo, its a classical IF. THEN statement), and I am miffed that they could only tell me this AFTER they received my credit card information.
My prescription reading glasses were fine, but the progressives we're not. If you don't return them within 14 days, you're stuck with them. I would not shop GlassesUSA again.
Recently bought a pair of glass from this site with the anti scratching lenses. It came within a week. I have been using it daily, and quite impressive with the quality and accurateness of prescirptions.
I recently purchased Ray Band polarized prescription sunglasses with them. I even took their insurance_20_20 for an extra $30. After a month the polarization delaminated. When it came to use my insurance, it happened that I had another $30 to pay. Anyhow I decided to pay a bit more for slimmer lenses. When Ive got my new glasses back, one of the spokes was crooked and polarization make some really weird effects. Now they refused to refund me after leading me to believe I could. The support by email is terribly slow and they dont answer my concern. Also they claim to sell to Canada but the 1 800 line doesn't work. Beware!
Stay away if you would like to avoid frustration. Their website will have to you pay a cheaper price. After your credit card is being charged, customer service will email you asking for you to pay more money or else they will be unable to fill your order. When asked for a refund, they will make you go through a cancellation process. What a waste of time.
This company is no at all worthy of any ones business. I ordered Glasses in July, they broke in less then two weeks. As of Oct 20th still have not received a new pair and have been told They will not refund my money. JUST READ ALL THE REVIEWS. WISH I HAD BEFORE I MADE MY PURCHASE.
I scanned my prescription on their website, order the BOGO free... I get an email saying that if I want bifocals I had to call to upgrade... After paying $52.00, I tried calling on three different occasions I was on hold more than 5 minutes. Finally the 3rd time I got someone in an East Asian call center. Charged me another $90.00 for Bi-focals. It's been three weeks still have not received. The first and last time I order from this company.
GlassesUSA filled my prescription incorrectly and is not willing to make it right.
First they said they would remake them, then they came back and tried to make it my fault and now they are saying I did not use the 14-day return policy.
This is such poor customer service... I'm not asking for a refund, I'm simply asking for them to send the correct prescription and return packaging for the order they shipped incorrectly. I should not have to come out of pocket to return their error.
After receiving my glasses and wearing them for a total of six times (in less than 30 days), the frame cracked. I called customer service, and the "sales person" tried to give me a 40% credit over my initial purchase price. I politely declined and insisted on a full refund. I was emailed a shipping label on a Monday, put them in the mail that same afternoon, and they were received by Glasses USA on Friday of that week. It has been over two weeks and I haven't received my refund. I have sent a few emails and almost immediately I receive a standard "form" reply letting me know someone will be contacting me within two days. I have yet to hear from anyone.
I would not recommend purchasing from Glasses USA. Keep your money and buy locally.
Just more of the same, My wife bought glasses that were not even close to her prescription. I neglected to get a tracking number and they refused to even look for them. After seeing all the complaints, maybe they really have so many returns they couldn't find mine.
They will not return my emails.
I bought my glasses after I read the reviews and I was scared. I do admit that it takes a terribly long time to get them n for a good while thought I was scammed but they came through. Good Quality. Legit. I can't speak for others though. I wouldn't buy from them again because it seems like such a gamble. But I didn't have a bad experience.

Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
