I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses. They came with no prescription. Their 800 number is non existent. I read all these reviews and now I know I have been scammed.

SCAM, Fraud, won't refund your money

I had originally purchased a pair of glasses that I returned upon receiving, due to the fit and prescription botch.

5 numerous attempts, spanning over 3 months of being promised my refund was coming, and still I have yet to receive my money.

You will hear them say "your complaint has been received and we have sent your refund information to billing, you should receive your refund shortly"

Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere, I am amazed this place hasn't been shutdown.

Placed an order for a very simple prescription. Received the order and can't see clearly. Returned for a refund but was contacted by GlassesUSA offering 110% store credit if I would order from them again. I took the bait and ordered another pair. Again the prescription is wrong. Contacted customer service for a refund and explained I would not be ordering from them in the future. It was then I was told the store credit is non refundable. They are keeping my money. No exceptions.
Steer clear. This company is a waste of time. Ill go back to Zenni.

Blind as a bat

I sent in my Rx and expected to get a pair of sunglasses. I waited and waited for the glasses and I was very excited when they arrived. They were the frames that I had picked but when I put them on I couldn't see across the street. The glasses were worst then if I had no glasses on. Sent them back the very next day. Big waste of time.

I use glasses as a back up to my contacts. Perhaps 1 hr/day. Earpiece broke after 7 mos. Gruff support guy said I should have bought insurance. Saw the below on their web site under Help-FAQ-Returns and Exchanges... Guess most folks would have a different definition of "ALL" circumstances. Look for the fine print -- buyer beware!

I am a senior citizen who made the mistake of ordering prescription reading glasses from GlassesUSA. Across the top of the 1st page of their website, they fraudulently promote a misleading warranty period of 365-days. I simply cannot read from the glasses sent to me by GlassesUSA. When I contacted them, they told me that the 365 day warranty was for manufacturer defects. I told them that there is only 1 purpose for glasses: to correct vision & if glasses don't correct vision they are defective. GlassesUSA "solution" is for me to drive around until I find a local optometrist who will check their glasses against my prescription and then provide me with a written statement, to that effect, all at no charge. How dare they suggest that I take care of a local business that has had NO involvement and has made NO money to do what GlassesUSA should be doing, all at no extra trouble or expense for me. I will report them to the Consumer Affairs Bureau and State Attorney Generals of NJ (where I live) and NY (where they are located to complain about their intentionally fraudulent and misleading business practices. Run, don't walk, away from this disreputable business!

After 5 months of dealing with this POS company I've finally given up. I've been crapped on and eventually disrespected. That 365 day warranty on their website is B. S. For those who care, this is Not an American company - that fake address in New York is a pathetic Customer Service number. If this will help: EyeBuyDirect.com actually got my simple prescription glasses done the first time and about $100. Cheaper. Make your decision.

Ordered two pair of glasses one pair was fine and the other had the wrong prescription. Customer service was a disgrace although the said they would send another pair immediately, those arrived with wrong lenses again

I order from GlassesUSA a few weeks ago and unfortunately I had a very bad experience. I order 2 pairs of glasses since they offered and second pair for free. The package came in the mail about 10 days after I placed the order. But I only got 1 pair of glasses. I contact the company and they said that they shipped the glasses separately wich I found very suspicious. A week after I got the second pair and according to the tracking number, it was send 4 days after my complaint and that proves that the glasses were forgotten and they never send them. GlassesUSA Instead of offering an apology they justified the mistake saying that they produced them in different laboratories but the tracking number proved them wrong again because the package came from the same destination.
Another issue was that I order a pair of premium glasses but they send the glasses in a Chinese generic case. They should not offer premium glasses or branded glasses if they are not coming in the original case. At least I expect them to mention that in the product description.
I should take in consideration all the bad reviews I saw before my purchase because it really proves that this company doesnt care about customers and the worse of it they act like scammers.
I dont recommend this company. Pay a little extra somewhere else but you wont regret it!

They charged my credit card 8 times, with a purchase of $181.05 over the phone, but they claim they can't trace it back since there was no order # or confirmation code. That's $1,448.40! You can't speak to a manager until they contact you up to 48 hours later, and they just kept telling me there was something wrong with my card. THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY CARD. I contacted my credit card company (which I've had well over a year, and have NEVER had an issue with). This website is HORRIBLE! My screenshot of my statements leaves out one of the charges just because it doesn't fit on the screen. Now I'm having to file disputes between both my credit card company and GlassesUSA, but still they can't seem to find and record of them charging me almost $1,500. I AM LIVID!

The glasses were uncomfortably heavy. The nose guard fell off within 2 weeks. No problem with a refund(they say) but per their site, allow 30 business days. Unacceptable for broken glasses. They offered 130% toward a new pair. Said they would help me pick out "better quality".? Generous but I'd say the price the quality should be there. Online chat customer service was quick to respond and was helpful. The only redeeming quality. Refund pending. I'll know in 4 weeks.

The customer service experience has to be the worst I have ever encountered. I have spoken to or emailed with 4 customer service reps now, all of which have refused to make concessions for sending me the wrong pair of glasses. I ordered frames from the Hilary Duff line on 1/26/18 and have yet to receive the correct pair as of 2/12/18. They claim "customer satisfaction guaranteed" but have completely disregarded their error and are unwilling to resolve this issue. I WILL NEVER use them again or recommend them to anyone.

I placed order for a Ray-Ban 3025 sunglasses in black. The ones I received in post after almost a month are terrible looking FAKE sunglasses with no Ray-ban branding anywhere. I have contacted customer service 9 times till now but there's no response from them. I hope I will get my refund soon.

To be fair, this was my 3rd order for glasses and the first 2 worked great. My third order arrived and one lens was a coke bottle bottom, something I don't and never have worn. I contacted them and it was sure ship them back at our cost and we will fix. Fix never came and I contacted them and they requested I send in my prescription... hey folks this is my 3rd pair and you are telling me you don't have my prescription on file, maybe its listed under Coke Bottle? More time passes and nothing, I track down somebody and he knows nothing about it and just wants to confirm my name is Mr Coke Bottle. I ask for a refund as I am well past a month in dealing with them and no glasses. He says sure we will do that. 2 more weeks pass and I call again, get transferred a couple of time and finally someone confirms I will get a refund. More time passes and I get an e mail telling me I will get a refund and the amount. That has been 2 weeks and no refund and no one knows anything. Total time is well over 2 months, no glasses, no refund, no nothing. Since then I have bought on line from another company and received faster service, better price for eh same exact glasses. Pass on Glassesusa!

DO NOT USE GLASSES-USA

UPDATE: NOW THEY ARE LYING TO ME.
I WANTED THEM TO USE BALANCE OF "STORE CREDIT" TO SHIP THE GLASSES THEY ARE FORCING ME TO TAKE, 1-2 DAY DELIVERY. They responded glasses were already shipped. Then I later got another email stating glasses were being inspected in their "5 Star Quality department" and indeed did not ship. When I checked their tracking system, it confirmed glasses DID NOT SHIP. They are LYING. 1st would not issue refund, then reduced the amount of "store credit", then refused to use balance of store credit to ship 1-2 day and are now lying about it all.

Almost 6 weeks later, I am still trying to get a refund (original glasses were incorrect) or a pair of glasses. Additionally, not only will they NOT issue a refund but forced a "Store Credit" and now they arbitrarily reduced my "Store Credit" for no legitimate reason other than to take advantage of a customer. NEVER AGAIN.

Once the glasses enter quality assurance, they have already entered the shipping chain and as such, we are unable to change the shipping method. As to clarify our return policy, we have a generous 14 day no questions asked return policy. This requires the customer to request a return within 14 days of receiving the item. Once the return has been requested the clock stops ticking, and once we receive the glasses back we can process a refund.\

I placed an online prescription order and paid $12.95 for expedited shipping.
It has been 2 weeks and the glasses are still in production. The glasses then go to "inspection" for another 3 to 5 days before being shipped.
Plan for a 3 week to one month wait - especially with standard shipping.

I ordered my glasses right on black Friday so... it wasn't shocking to me to get my glasses two weeks later. I've had this happen many times ordering from other places on black Friday. The glasses are great and exactly what I wanted. The only negative I can say about them is I wish I got the thinnest lenses possible. I have a bad astigmatism in my left eye so my left one is slightly thicker than the right one. Though my family doesn't notice it, I do! So the next time I order I'll be buying the thinnest ones. Love the anti glare coating! The last pair I bought I didn't do that and it really makes a difference having the coating. They did excellent on my prescription. I can see very clear. Definitely a good experience thus far. I'll be ordering again soon! If they mess up, I'll be sure to update my review.
