I ordered glasses from this outfit and when they arrived they were too small. I returned them within about 10 days. I heard nothing from them. When I contacted them, I was told that I requested an in-store credit with my return. I didn't. There was no such from to request an in-store credit, The firm simply emailed a mailing address form to be attached to the box in which I was sending the glasses back to them. I repeat I never request an in-store credit.
The representative I worked with told me that I did request an in-store credit. I requested that he email me a copy of such a request. That is when the communication shifted. He said that there was an error and he would forward my request to another department where someone would call me to make further arrangements to process my cash refund. After a week and no phone calll, I contacted the firm again and was told that my request for a cash refund "had been rejected".
This firm does not adhere to their own "Terms and Conditions" that are in place to facilitate refunds/returns. They are unethical and crooked. Once they get your money, you'll never see it again, even if you return the product and follow their own rules. They should not be in business. They are as cooked as they come. You've been warned.
I ordered prescription sunglasses. They arrived in about two weeks with no prescription just plain lenses. Sent them back according to their directions. Two weeks later I called to check on the order and was told they had received the glasses but did not know what I wanted. After explaining the problem they said they would process the order. A week later I received an email saying that the frames I returned were no longer available and I needed to pick another style. About two weeks later I got the sunglasses BUT I requested brown lenses and they shipped Gray. DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY unless you enjoy aggravation.

I place an order 11 days ago with GlassesUSA. I get the same status on my glasses when I use there website and when I call their 800 number which is no status at all. I feel like I purchased snake oil. If I donot get my glasses within the 14 business days promised I am going to reverse the charge. Really bad service. BAD BAD BAD!

I was worried after reading various negative online reviews as well as being a customer that lives outside of the US. However, my glasses came within the two weeks shipping time, the prescription is accurate and they fit well! I am happy with my overall purchase however i do admit that the tracking statuses could be improved and updated more regularly as my glasses arrived without me even knowing that they were shipped out.

I ordered a pair of reading glasses, they came and did not fit properly. I requested a return within the 14 days, printed the label provided and received an email asking if I wanted a refund or exchange. I emailed back stating I would like an exchange but never heard anything back on how to do it. I have email TWICE now and not received a response. They take your money, send you a pair of glasses that may or may not be what you ordered, and then when you try to exchange you get radio silence. This is stealing and unacceptable. And it sucks because I am clearly not the only one who has had this happen. Terrible company. Will never use again, and will actively campaign against them to anyone I hear talk about them.

I learned a valuable lesson about their customer service and will no longer be ordering anything from GLASSES USA again.
I have placed 3 expensive progressive orders. 2 with transitions lenses and have spent almost $1,000. In less than 6 months. When I needed a very small frame repair--I was ignored for 2 weeks. Not Acceptable for any buiness

Their customer service and response times are ridiculous! I placed an order and it wasn't until 5-7 attempts (each time was on hold NO LESS then 15 minutes) and 14 days later they informed me they were out of stock on the frames I ordered. I'm STILL waiting on my refund... Do yourself a favor and order from someone else!

I had left a 4 star review originally; several months later had to reduce to 3 stars. Now, this company deserves negative stars from me.
Had ordered some prescription progressive glasses from this company early 2018. They arrived within exactly 10 days of placing the order. Quality wasn't great, and GlassesUSA does not polish their lenses - this is a huge deal for those with thick lenses. The color began peeling of the arms of the metal frame glasses within several weeks. Price was okay, so in August 2018 I ordered some plastic prescription progressive sunglasses. As of October 2018 my calls, chats, and emails only caused tickets to be opened and updated, and my emails were always forwarded to the production, appropriate, or relevant departments (in that order) and I'd never hear from anybody again. Nobody could tell me where my glasses were and they never changed from being "in production" for more than two months. Finally asked for a refund, GlassesUSA said they issued it but it has yet to be credited.

Not only did I provide it, I provided a copy of the report that confirmed the glasses were delIverd back to GlassesUSA. They still refuse to acknowledge that I returned the glasses. Still no refund. I bought two pairs of glasses from GlassesUSA. They weren't the best, not the worse either, but in the last month both pairs of glasses are sitting in pieces on my desk. The nose pads fell off of one set, and the other pair are in three pieces because the glue that holds the hinges in gave out.

I only wear glasses to read. I scanned through the frames thinking the frame I chose was a nice sturdy frame. I had been watching the commercial for GlassesUSA.com stating that you received frames and lens one price. That price doesn't include everything that is needed scratch guard, etc. Everything is an extra charge. I almost backed out and took my RX to a company everyone knows. I have used GlassesUSA once and it will also be my last time.
I was intrigued and impressed with the GlassesUSA website. I found some frames I really liked and went through the purchase process. I received the glasses in a reasonable amount of time. However, I couldn't see well initially. I know there is always an adjustment period so I gave it a couple of weeks. After two weeks, I still could not see well. I took the glasses to my optometrist and proceeded to detail the problems with the glasses. (I really liked the frames but just couldn't see well with them.) I contacted GlassesUSA to get my money back or get another pair. They refused to refund my money. They would redo the glasses for a hefty fee. I tried for weeks to get some satisfaction, but to no avail. I was informed that they only have a 14-day warranty. What professional business does that? I found it difficult to believe that this company would sell me an inferior product and refuse to correct the issue without charging a hefty fee. Wouldn't you want satisfied customers? My perception of Glasses USA is that their very difficult to work with, they make the customer jump thru hoops in order for an exchange. I spent $200 + on a pair of glasses that are progressives that I can't wear. Distance is fine but up close is blurry. Buy the frames but take them to your optomologist for the lenses. Wasted $200.+ for something I can't even use.

I purchased a pair of prescription sunglasses from Glasses USA on March 22,2018. On March 25, I received an email stating that my prescription was too strong for that particular frame. That's OK, there is nothing they can do about that. But, I asked for a refund and have been getting the runaround ever since. First they asked me to fill out an RMA, which was odd considering that RMA stands for "return merchandise authorization" and I had no merchandise to return. The glasses were never made because they were unable to make them. But, I played along and filled out their RMA in an attempt to cancel the order and receive my money back. I received no response after filling out the RMA. I sent an email to the person who asked me to fill out that form and haven't heard back from them. In fact, nobody will respond to my emails after filling out that form. Last night, I received a phone call from them while I was asleep. The gentleman on the voicemail said that I need to call them to "discuss the cancellation." But, there really isn't anything to discuss, is there? I tried to order something from you, you couldn't provide it, I ask for a refund, end of discussion. Right? Apparently not. They seem to insist on holding my money hostage until I relent and use that money to buy something else from them. Why else would I have to call to "discuss" anything with them? After all, they haven't actually sent me anything. This seems open and shut to me.
Me: I would like these glasses, here's my payment. Please make them for me.
GUSA: We can't make them because your prescription is too strong for this frame.
Me: Ok, no problem. Can I please have my money back?
GUSA: Maybe. See how many of these hoops you can jump through.
This is a ridiculous way to treat a customer. One thing is for sure, I will never do any business with this company again. I would caution any one reading this to stay far away from Glasses USA. There are far better options out there.

We have one form for Returns and Cancellations. Once a cancellation form is filled out, the request is forwarded to the billing department for them to process the refund. As per our Terms and Conditions, refunds for cancellations are processed within 14 business days from the date the request was placed. Normally, they are processed faster than that.
We do occasionally call customers after cancellations for a survey that allows us to find out why they cancelled and improve our services accordingly. This has nothing to due with the status of your refund, it is merely a tool we use to try and serve you better.
Additionally, we have checked the status of refund and it will be processed shortly.

In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. This unfortunately means that we have to start again from scratch, but as a rule we do not send out any glasses that did not meet our quality standards. Shipping times are unfortunately mostly beyond our control as we depend upon our carriers to deliver the products in a timely manner. We also offer a variety of shipping options that ensure a faster delivery for any interested customers, but our customers need to keep in mind shipping times do not include production time. Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
