I had such a good experience with this company! Their customer support/chat was very helpful answering questions while I was placing my order, and I received my glasses in two weeks. I had to wait longer than that for the glasses I ordered from my optometrist! They were exactly what I was expecting and I will definitely order from them again.
I returned a pair of prescription sunglasses way back towards the beginning of April. I got this phone call from a returns rep Sophia offering me a 130% if I took a store credit plus promised me she would do her magic and give me a coupon for more off once I decided on another pair. Well I already had ordered and received another pair but she was so convincing and I thought what the heck I'll get another pair of regular glasses. She assured me that if I didn't find what I wanted we could go back to just having her do a refund of my money. So I took a couple days to find another pair but she never exactly told me what the coupon would be. Since I have transgressions there is added expenses so I needed to find out how much the coupon would take off. I called numerous times always on hold for long periods of time always to be told she was not available. She emailed me once asking me to call her. I emailed her to call me directly because the wait times were ridiculous. She never did so I again tried to reach her to no avail. Finally I got fed up and called customer svc to tell them forget it I will just take my money back. I was told very rudely that I could not it was past the 14 days. I asked for a manager and was told they are just going to tell you the same thing. I insisted and of course I never got a call back. Call the company again and was told that managers call back in 24-48 hours. Infuriating! Two days later I get a very unprofessional person name Amy claiming she was a supervisor. Tells me I can't get my money back. I told her what Sophie told me. She questions me on if Sophie actually told me that. She then tells me she has to pull the tape from our phone call to see if Sophie actually told me I could get my money back. Basically insinuating I am a liar. About a week or so later she leaves a brief message calling me back but didn't leave details. Once again I have to be on hold forever and the rep read the comments saying Amy pulled the tape and found what I said to be right. IMAGINE THAT! She said she forwarded my request to the billing dept. I said Oh good I should get my money back. The rep tells me not guaranteed it's up to billing. Well horse poop to that I contacted my banks credit card dept and lodged a complaint. Good think I keep detailed records and dates of who all I talked to. It took about 2 months and Glasses USA kept fighting me getting my money back. My bank found in my favor so I did get my money back. Please do yourself a favor and do not order. They are rude and they are schysters!

If i could give this site negative stars, I would.
Expedited shipping 3-5 is complete BS. It took them THREE times to verify my email before i could even receive any correspondence from them. When i asked to speak to a supervisor on the phone i was ignored, then put on hold and then told that no supervisor was available. I am now waiting 14 days for a refund of my over $200 order when i was never notified about a problem until TWO WEEKS after i had placed my order.
Which means they will have kept my money for a complete month with no service ever being fulfilled. I was able to complete the entire order through a mobile device but could not answer ridiculously small number of questions for a refund through my device and was told i had to use a desktop computer (small annoyance I know, but by this point I was absolutely DONE with everything they had to say).
I could go on forever about the absurdity of this company but I will leave it at that and implore you to use ANY other company to order glasses from.

I ordered 3 pairs, returned 2 for refund, on for store credit. I then purchased 2 more. One with the store credit and one with additional funds. When I tried to return one of the pair, it was not allowed because only 2 returns are allowed to anything related to the original order. The additional pair I purchased were in no way tied to the original order but Glasses USA only took into account what they claim is the pair associated with the store credit. Of course I did not read the return policy when ordering because they claim 100% satisfaction or money back. Thats a fallacy also. After one return you only get a store credit. And thats all I wanted for the pair I wanted to return. Even if you read the return policy, it is so unclear that you would not understand it.

I have contacted GlassesUSA a couple times through chat and called once since writing my initial review. I noticed they made a reply to contact them, most likely to save face and follow policy not to actually help. How do I know? I keep getting the "Wait 30 days" run around even though it is a cancellation and not a return. I would like to make it clear also that my order was never processed because of the whole RX debacle I mentioned, this company charges you just for submitting an order which I have never experienced anywhere else, red flag number one. I am following the advice of other reviewers, luckily I used a credit card, contacted them and am in the process of disputing the charge which GlassesUSA made easy as everything is sent through email, even the summary of the phone calls and a transcript of the online chats. Do yourself a favor, dispute the charge, do not count on GlassesUSA for anything. I don't know what the game is, maybe collecting interest, but holding onto hundreds for 30 days after not providing a service nor product is criminal.

I successfully purchased prescription sunglasses from them last year, 2017. I lost those and wanted them replaced, I called and ordered through an agent on the phone. I verified several times, not figuratively or anything, literally seven times I asked and made sure "This order is exactly the same as the previous one, including the prescription" by the time the call was over. It has been a full business week and the order had not even been processed. I made a ticket and they responded by telling me they were waiting for my prescription...
They were waiting on a prescription I verified was the same several times for this order as it was for my previous order. Refuse to wait another week for their incompetence and 7-10 business days so I put in a refund request. As of right now it has not been reviewed, I called and was told it could take 2 days. They will most likely try to offer me store credit like they did when I first submitted my refund request but I am beyond livid and want nothing to do with this company, especially after reading all the reviews here, I have no idea how things went smoothly last year with my first order. Stay away from these people, don't take my word for it, read the other reviews. Wish I could give a negative star.
My frames broke within a month. Their resolve was to give me a credit for half of what I paid. I could use this credit to buy another pair of poorly made frames. I will eat the $200 and purchase from a reputable company.

I made the mistake of ordering 2 pairs of glasses from this miserable excuse for a company, almost 2 months ago. So far they have: lost my prescription, lost my order, kept me waiming on the phone atleast 45 minutes for each call (only to have a rude rep tell me they basically don't care), had a manager call and beg me to take the order I had cancelled, made the glasses wrong after waiting an extra 2 weeks for them after reinstating the order, take a minimum of 3 days to respond to every email inquiry (because they won't answer their phone) and lastly tell me I have to wait 30 more days to get my money back.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH GLASSESUSA!
While GlassesUSA put a comment on this review, it is just asking me to write to their generic customer service email. I have done that repeatedly, with no results. I am still out over $300 - since mid May. All emails sent to this "no service" customer service email sit in some hold area for 2-3 days, before they send an email saying they got my email and will get back to me. After this email, in another 2-3 days, I get a generic email saying I will get my money in another 30 days.
GlassesUSA is a fraud - do not do business with them! They have no addresses to write to their company (snail mail or email, other than the worthless generic customer service email). Can't find a physical location for their company either.

After many phone calls and emails concerning my RX they still filled the wrong RX... BLURRY. Well I order an inexpensive pair from Zenni Optical and the RX was correct and I received my glasses within 7 days unlike USA it took 3 weeks to received the wrong RX glasses.

From Mortichai to Tony just to name 2, I have had a good relationship with the staff. They are courteous and really helpful. Need anything and they re at your beckoning call. I find it helpful to talk to someone right after you order just to make sure all goes right. They help you out and guide you. Any problem and they are quick to reconcile it. They did right by me, therefore I wonder why all the bad reviews of their performance. Make sure to buy the insurance when buying the glasses. It is always helpful.
I believe they stand by their guarantees and are no scam artists as others have said.

My first pair of glasses were not event the right prescription. After much going back and forth by email they did send me a return label it was weeks after I sent them back and never heard from them so I reached again to them and they assured me they would be sending out a new pair with the correct prescription. I just received my second pair and I can not see everything is blurry. They are not progressive as they should have been. $237 dollars later. Buyer beware

My order did not go through but the payment did! Spoke to 5 staff (live chat & email) over the course of 12 days and counting to try to find out when I'll get my money back. Only 1 was professional, apologised, and helped me. The rest first of all did not properly read my emails and told me what I already knew, gave no insight or actual answer to my question about a refund, and one even falsely told me he reversed the charge when he couldn't have according to another staff member?! The training here must be awful, I blame management. In the end I rang my bank and they helped me, so I emailed glassesUSA and pretty much told them what they had to do- i. E. did their job for them! A stressful, long, and time-wasting process to get my money back for an order that did not even go through to begin with! (I'm still waiting for the refund but my bank said it should be released in a few days even if glassesUSA doesn't reverse it sooner- phew!) I wish I saw these other bad reviews before, I might have gone somewhere else. When I am refunded, I will go to eyebuydirect instead. Same sort of company (and no I'm no affiliated with them lol). The service can only be better!

After a glitch in my order which did not read my on-site entry of my prescription, I emailed my prescription to GlassesUSA. They emailed me the next day saying they had received it. (By the way, they had previously called me incessantly, each time leaving a voicemail, asking for my prescription so they could complete my order.)
In one week I received an email stating they had completed my prescription and were sending my eyeglasses to their lab to verify its accuracy. They TESTED and double checked their work to MAKE SURE I would have accurate vision.
I received my glasses by certified mail in a heavily secured and padded box.
My glasses are beautiful. My eyes love them. I now have an very accurate alternative to my contact lenses.

Ordered non prescription sunglasses on May 28 expecting immediate shipment since they immediately charged my credit card. On June 1, the website said not scheduled for production yet. I called as told them since they didn't have the glasses refund my money. On June 12th they sent me a email saying they had production issues. I replied back process my refund. Later that day, I received another email saying I had to fill out refund request which I immediately did. Later the same day they sent me another email wanting me to fill out a refund request which I did. June 14th, i called and was told billing department would process the refund but there was no way that I could talk to them on the phone that they would contact me by email in a few days. This is looking like a scam from the the very beginning.

I ordered on 6/1/18, it's now 6/13/18, and they have been in their QA process since 6/4. I have sent three email inquiries asking where in the process they are with no response. So I called today, and get a BS story that the tracking has been assigned, but they can't give it to me because it's not live.
I am really disappointed right now.

I bought a pair of glasses from these guys 13 months ago. The hinge of one of the ear pieces broke (not the screw coming out). The are guaranteed for only one year and they have no repair services, so I am out of luck. One pair of glasses in the trash.

I was totally and completely ripped off by this SCAM company, which is based out of ISRAEL, not the USA. They sent me cheap Chinese GARBAGE, and to make a long story short did NOT honor their "100% Satisfaction Guarantee".
So I ended up disputing this charge with my credit card company and my credit card company DEBITED GlassesUSA for 100% of the purchase price and CREDITED me back. Wonderful!
What people don't seem to understand that since GlassesUSA uses Visa & Mastercard, they have NO CONTROL over Visa & Mastercard issuing refunds and debiting GlassesUSA back. GlassesUSA simply loses, and the consumer wins. Simple as that.
Of course GlassesUSA would never want this to get out, they make you think that you have to go through GlassesUSA for a refund. That is simply false.
I can't tell you how GREAT it felt to stick it to GlassesUSA the way they tried to stick it to me.

(Your "US Headquarters" is nothing but a PO Box out of "Lex Pack & Ship". Do a Google Street View and you will see it clearly. GlassesUSA is really based out of Tel Aviv).
GlassesISRAEL only exists because it rips off it's customers. I waited 2 weeks to receive a piece of plastic, tracking statues at the UPS website says the product passed through Thailand and India and Germany I do not even want to bother myself in filing for refunds because following other people`s reviews i wont get it, I spent over 200 USD for nothing, Total Rip off.

Don't be fooled by the 100% money-back guarantee. I ordered glasses in Dec. 2017 following the promotion on Ellen's tv show - BOGO. I should have checked reviews first because it's been the worst buying experience of my life. May 29,2018 I gave up and accept that I have spent $300 for glasses I cannot wear. Customer service is actually customer run-around. Go to an optical store where you can speak with a person face-to-face. This is a really bad deal.

I decided to order from GlassesUSA based on their prices. I could have gone elsewhere which I wish I did. I ordered my glasses on 5/18 and still have yet to receive them. In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
