Long story short: they stoled my money! Without any possibility to take them back because they work under U. S low.
Found out I was being charged $60 more via above than when I just called the motel. What it makes me suspect is the sites like above are just a scam and we end up paying more than if we just called the motel ourselves.
The price you see online is not the total price they added 40%
After a claim they refund part of that and now claim that as they refunded a small amount i have no right to reclaim the difference any more!

Very quick and easy booking. Confirmation was immediate. No extra fees. Clear and concise transaction
I went through Trivago and I put in the city I wanted to stay and got a great rate on the room. When I went to check in they didn't have my reservation because it was booked in a different city. I didn't check because I assumed if I put in a specific city that is what would pull up.
Was trying to book a room in West Springfield for the Equine Affaire. Went to the hotel website (or so I thought) but ended up booking with GetARoom. While the room rate was correct ($167.17/night) they added a Recovery Charge/Service Fee of $212.99 that was NOT obvious. Of course the room reservation was a pre-pay non-refundable, so I have apparently little recourse, but be warned. READ EVERYTHING! Will warn EVERYONE against using this site
After my initial experience with getaroom.com I was very frustrated. I wrote a review on sitejabber and was immediately contacted by someone from the Customer Relations Team. They gathered details to understand my situation and were able to resolve my problem immediately. I was assured they would review the past interactions I had with getaroom.com and pass on any information that would help improve the customer experience. I appreciate the quick resolution to my problem.

Frustrating conversation. Agent asked me same question several times after I gave information first time. Could not extend reservation Booked additional one, caused checkin problems!
I needed to book a room at a hotel my family was also staying at, but they didn't use the booking site as myself, I got a much better deal for the same room they had - and they paid over 20 dollars more. I wanted to see if they could get me on the same floor as my family - and not only did they arrange for me to be on the same floor - they were able to put my room right next to them. They were very helpful. I was concerned my family's room might get downgraded because they paid more money for their room, but turns out they booked the same exact room type as mine - they just paid more than I did. The agent who helped me was very nice and had it done in a matter of minutes. I was very pleased, because my family booked their room in haste because it was a wake/funeral. I looked for a better deal on mine. Very happy.

As with so many other reviews I have read... I thought I was speaking with a Hilton representative when I made the reservations. They representative did not announce the company name upon answering the phone. I was given a room rate. Said the credit card would be charged for room and taxes. Come to find out they also added additional fees that were never disclosed. How do we as customers get this deceptive business to stop taking advantage of unsuspecting customers. I also alerted Hilton and the are now investigating.
After looking at other Sites it looked as if we were not going to take our vacation. But we found this great price at this site Now we're off to vacation
The room was advertised for $131. At booking the total was $181. At other sites it should have been $142. Will never use this sight again. They do not show you the total until you hit the book button. I will never use this sight again. The room is non refundable or no cancellation.
Hassle free booking system, Hotel was very good, the staff were friendly, room was typical Hilton standard, very clean throughout, the only down side was that the bed was a bit lumpy, not a great night sleep!

Change my reservation that was your own mistake
When I thought I was at the Hyatt web site booking directly with the hotel, I was actually at GetARoom.com or one of their partner sites (URLs) that I could not distinguish from Hyatt. Then, it showed a room rate ($132.05) without showing tax and services fees and I had to enter my credit card info next and confirm it before being shown the total charge ($198.80) that included the normal hotel tax (under $18) plus another $48 in fees for them totaling $66.75. That $66.75 and the total of $198.80 was only shown to me after I confirmed. They were not cooperative when I called up to cancel and told me it was non-refundable and nothing they could do. After I filed bad reviews I got a very nice call from their customer service people who refunded me the $198.80 and claiming that the bad stuff was the fault of one of their partners.
My experience was super smooth and easy. I was about to find a low rate and book without an issue. I would totally use this site again.

Following my review of 07/29, Customer Service Rep. Carrie called me. They gave me a full refund plus an additional 25% for my inconvenience. I appreciate that they at least tried to make things right, even though we still couldn't take our trip!

I put in the info to get a room in Pagosa Springs for 5 nights in Aug. Thru Trivago which evidently pairs with GetARoom. It listed a Clarion Inn at 14378 Hwy 34, PAGOSA SPRINGS, CO. On my confirmation page after I completed the deal, and also showed a map of the supposed hotel in Pagosa Springs, (which turned out to be an empty field)! The next day I saw my confirmation e-mail, & it listed hotel information as Baymont by Windham, at 14378 HWY 34 in Fort Morgan, CO. I Googled the hotel and address to find there was no such address or hotel in Pagosa. And of course when I called GetARoom support they could not explain how this could possibly happen, let alone get me a room in Pagosa for anywhere near the lesser price I had for my original booking. Totally F'd up my plans. If I could rate less than one star I would.
I ordered my reservation at 7:30 pm. I made it to the hotel at 8:15 pm the same day and the reservation wasn't showing. After phone contact with a rep from 8:20 to 9:34 there was still no reservation showing at the hotel. She repeatedly asked me to wait longer for the reservation to come through, and after driving 8 hours and needing to get up early the next morning I wasn't going to inconvenience myself any further, so we decided to request a refund through a customer care ticket number and I ended up getting a room directly through the hotel on my own. The following morning I checked back with the front desk to see if the reservation ever showed up, and the rep said she had never received it. The charge that was placed on my card for $68.33 has been disputed. If they don't refund me, I'll let my credit card provider handle the scamming frauds.
I inadvertently book a reservation on this site, as the website appeared to be of a hotel chain I use. I immediately contacted their cancellation number and verbally told the woman who answered that I was cancelling. She assured me the reservation would be cancelled, but due to a "slow system" it would take time. I later realized that the reservation was not cancelled and they had charged my credit card.
After a series of email with their Customer Service (ha), an employee offered a refund (June 4,2019) which I accepted. But they did not honor their promise. They are not to be trusted.
These people are absolute JOKERS. They hike up your room 2x. Once I figured out what they were up to they said sorry we will give you 6.00 back. STAY STAY SYAY AWAY
Answer: They are not ethical. For me, they used a website that appeared to be the actual hotel website, did not identify themselves when they should have, and did not mention booking fees while they charged a 30 percent booking fee for a room that was its normal price. They were supposed to cancel charges on my credit card and did not. STAY AWAY!
Answer: They are a site attached to Trip Advisor---- if you see them on screen while trying to book a room-- hit cancel. I'm out over $150 because of their fraudulent cancellation policy.
Answer: Thought I was booking on the actual hotel sight but was deceived in as much as it was Getaroom. Talked to someone else also staying at this hotel at the same for about a third less. Called them right back and had already charged my card and it would be up to 3 weeks to refund. That's about what it took but did get refund. Then checked reviews and no one had anything good to say about getaroom. Go straight to hotel sight of one you know and trust or stick with something like Travelocity.
Answer: I'm definitely in. There's something very deceptive, if not illegal, when you start off on a hotel's website and when you click Make a Reservation, it somehow transfers you to the GetARoom site without your knowledge. I had no idea this was done until I received their email confirmation. I'm thinking of contacting my state's Consumer Protection Div. Of the AG's Office to file a complaint when I get back from vacation.

Answer: Wow. This is one bad company. Made a reservation and then needed to cancel. They gave cancel date all along. I called to cancel on that date and was told that date was only for 1 minute of date they told me. I was supposed to forfeit one night's cost. Luckily I made reservation on AMEX and they'll tell this fraud company to get lost. Moral of the story: make reservations through hotel.
