I looked for an online eyeglass company, eyebuydirct came up and I decided to try them out. From the selections, the virtual fitting, and the purchase process was extremely seamless. The time from purchase to arrival was quite reasonable, they arrived well cushioned and the fit was perfect. I didn't have any expectations, however, I am extremely satisfied.

This is my second purchase of the fab Roaring eyeglasses. I get so many compliments on them - in black. I can't find a style anywhere else like these. The lenses/prescription are great.

I have bought 2 different pairs 2 different times because they broke quickly after receiving and wearing them but the styles are so good I was willing to risk it. I even purchased the amity style 3 separate times and they all broke before 3 months.
The initial price is very appealing, but once you add to cart and go through the options, even if you don't get any add ons, you still have to choose a lense option that is for an additional price.
I have great Vision Insurance and after my Eye Doctor appt in January 2026 I picked out and purchased a pair of frames with prescription progressive lenses from my Eye Doctor's facility. Even with my great Vision Insurance that paid 100% for the $300 glasses I selected I still ended up paying $188 for the upgraded progressive lenses to put into the frames. After seeing the great selection of eyeglasses on EyeBuyDirect I decided to buy a two pair of glasses with my new prescription, one for reading and one for working on my computer. Those two pair came in quickly and the prescriptions in them were so good and clear when using that I thought I would purchase another pair of regular glasses and see how they compared to the ones I purchased from my Eye Doctor's office. The frames I purchased cost $49, and with my prescription lenses (with upgraded progressive lenses) the total pair of glasses cost me $121. The glasses came in very quickly and they are fantastic! The prescription is spot on and I see better/clearer with them than with the ones I purchased at a higher price from my Eye Doctors' office. All three pair of glasses have the correct / clear prescription in them and work great. I will definitely purchase all my glasses from EyeBuyDirect in the future and not from my Doctor's office! They accept my insurance as well, so I know my total out of pocket cost will also be less than what I paid without insurance at EyeBuyDirect. Bottom line EyeBuyDirect offers a great selection of frames and lenses at great prices, and the prescription is meticulously applied to the lenses.
Last year I ordered two pairs of readers. They were fantastic and reasonably priced. So much cheaper than going to my local Eye Doctors office to buy them. This year I have already purchased a pair of computer glasses that work fantastically and again have saved me over $100 not having to buy through my Eye Doctors office. And... today I am purchasing a pair of readers and progressive glasses from my new prescription.

There are so many great choices of frames and lenses. The customer support is also fantastic. They were able to resolve my issues and make me feel even better about the company than before, not just satisfied.
All was good with exception of returned pair. Sight was good but fit was a bit small

I can't get a hold of anybody to help me with a return. It has to be done by a special person or department because I used insurance on a different pair of glasses. I constantly get my calls dropped when trying to contact them or I am on hold for almost an hour with no response. It is terrible.
I ordered a pair of meta frames, waited 2 weeks and didn't hear back for 2 weeks after calling multiple times, just to find out they were out of stock.

I placed an order for glasses and later realized that my prescription had not been included. I immediately called customer service to update the order. They corrected it and assured me that the order would arrive by the express‑shipping date they provided.

When I asked them to reroute the refund to my updated card, they told me to "contact the card company," even though the card is no longer valid.
At this point, I'm left without the glasses I ordered, without a working refund, and with no real assistance from the company.
It's disappointing to have such a poor experience after being a loyal customer for so many orders. I really hope EyeBuyDirect improves their service and refund process, because this situation was completely avoidable.

I virtually tried on the frame I chose-answered a few questions about lense choices, and manually inputted my prescription. I received my eyeglasses BEFORE the scheduled arrival date, and THEY ARE A PERFECT FIT! Less than $100 with a lot of upgrades bc of the amazing coupons offered!
The entire experience was great. Ordering the frames and lenses; updating the prescription; purchasing multiple glasses; arranging and monitoring the delivery were all well designed and easy to use.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
