I would like to warn all customers of this website, which is operated by a group of swindlers and scammers. This is what happened to me during my visit to Bosnia, where I made a reservation, paid 100 euros, and requested the car at Sarajevo Airport. When I arrived there, I did not find anyone in the company with which the car was reserved, and I had to visit them in the morning. They assured me that there was no reservation and that this company had a lot of problems with us. When I contacted them trying to recover the amount paid, they told me that I could not do that because it was my fault, and this is of course a reason to laugh. Unfortunately, I did not find a headquarters for them or any office for their cases, so I warn everyone against dealing with these people. Scammers
We hired an SUV for 10 days around Tassie. Booking was hassle free and the car as per what we ordered. Insurance was a bit confusing. Book insurance direct with the car company when u collect the car as economy bookings are the middle man and if ur insurance is with them then u need to pay any damages up front and then claim back.
Wow price was very good,lots of cars to choose from. Couldn't ask for anything better, thank you so much economy booking!

Easy to download and booking process was straightforward. In comparison with other rental companies I find you to be the best for now.
Booked a rental through them for a van at Orlando airport. When we arrived the rental company, AZ Rentals, was not at the airport, did not answer any calls, and left us stranded. I had to get a rental from a legitimate rental company that was actually permitted and licensed to operate at the airport. When AZ rentals finally answered the phone the next day, they said to get a refund from EconomyBookings. When I reached out to EconomyBookings they replied with a big f-you, claiming I had cancelled my rental, and failed to pickup the vehicle.

Stay away from EconomyBookings.com, their "free cancellation" is not free. If you cancel your booking, you will get a "credit" on their eWallet. That amount can only be used for future bookings. If you want to withdraw that amount to get a refund on your credit card, they are charging you an hefty administrative fee of 60 euros to do so.
I admit that I did a mistake when a booked my rental. I booked the car at the wrong Rome airport. But the car wasn't available at the other Rome airport, so a credit would be useless to me right now. I simply booked too fast with fear of missing out on a great deal. However, I realized my mistake minutes after booking and it was already too late... there is no "grace" period where you can cancel and get a credit card refund without paying any fees... its all or nothing with that website.
Overall, its a bad experience, with misleading information, abusive fees, and bad faith from the customer service who just send you to their cancellation policy (which is definitely not a common practice and requires some digging).
Don't get trapped, don't lock your money on their platform, use another platform.
Their customer service will not help you get a full refund. They will simply reply with links and pre-made template and evasive answers. You will have the worst time communicating with them.
(Note: I'll modify or delete my review if they come to their senses and offer a full refund without asking any fees / reducing my refund amount)

Generally I had a good experience with Economy Bookings as usual. But it would be really great to improve the part related to full coverage and the extra charges.
I arrived to the airport of Luxembourg to pick my car in Europcar and I received the surprise that even thought EconomyBookings had sent me a confirmation, there was no car for me. This caused me big damages and delays. I am still waiting for the refund of the prepaid amount. It is impossible to contact them by phone and they do not reply to my mails. I strongly recommend to avoid working with this company. 11 days after this I have not get my money back yet. They will provide me with an answer in 28 labor days. Europcar confirmed they receive the booking request from Economybookings but they did not accepted as they did not have cars, however economybookings never communicated it to me and did not send me back the 68 euros already charged. Dear reader, be really careful.

We already had a valid insurance that they did not want to recognize. So we were forced to pay a 2nd insurance that we absolutely didn't need, which tripled the price we paid for when we initially booked.

Alltough there was a problem with the pick up time because our flight was delayed, the man from the costumers service made it work. He eben changed something with another couple to be able to give us the car. Vehicle was in good condition.
I have booked to rent a car at the Geneva airport. After I have paid, I received an email with a title "Voucher for security deposit Full Coverage B*******". At the 'Hertz Dollar" desk in th Geneva airport didn't accept this booking and i had to pay a new contract in order to have a car.

We booked a rental car via ecomonybookings.com with pick up point at Basel Airport Switzerland but they gave us a booking at Mulhouse Airport France. After reaching the airport Alamo staff told they do not have Swiss vignette on the car and asked us to go to the Swiss side and get another car. Alamo staff cancelled the booking without charges. Since 1st April we have been trying to reach economybookings.com support via all means to either get a refund or alternate car booking but no response whatsoever.

I had to cancel my booking. Be advised that it goes into an "E-Wallet". If you want your money back, they will charge you $65. Okay my bad, didn't catch that. On TOP of that you have to wait 21 business days to get the money refunded. Horrible policy - I've had nothing but problems with 3rd party sites it seems.

Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
