Booked and received confirmation email from the firm rental was ready for pick-up. Rental car company wouldn't deliver rental because I was a local renter. That is stated in a tiny disclosure on page 4 of the rental agreement. They also charged in Euros even though I paid in dollars. They refused to find me a new rental and were unwilling to refund the $177.02 I was charged initially for the rental I couldn't even get. Have filed a dispute with my credit card company and EconomyBookings is fighting me. They have told the CC company they delivered as promised. Will never use this company again.
The worst, I had a rental for August 2020, only to have it cancelled by Economy Bookings. Then I was told that I would get a refund, Yeah right only to be sent an email with a Voucher. So I figured I would try to book something for this summer only to see that car rental prices almost quadrupled. So I tried to set up a rental and entered my Voucher, this is where the fun started. My rental was $956, so I entered my voucher number to only get $60 off my rental. After trying to call for the last month and a half, I finally was able to get to speak to a live person. Who then told me that my voucher was only worth $60 for that rental and that I would still have the remaining portion left, So long story short I would have to rent multiple times in order to get the full value of my voucher. I contacted customer service only to be told that I would not get a refund for the money that I paid immediately. So even a longer story short, I will not get my money back. I used this service based on recommendations from friends (before the pandemic). I will ultimately lose my money be cause the voucher is good for 2 year, but I will never get full value because I only rent occasionally. Thank you Economy Bookings for taking food and necessities from my children's mouths, especially during this time of pandemic where people are struggling to recover.

I recommend you NEVER use Economy Bookings for car rental! They have a site to rent a car, but the service side & the actual rental at the place you want to rent from is awful! I had everything I was supposed to have, flew to our destination, only to find out that our rental car was going to be through an affiliate company. After almost 1 1/2 hours of waiting we had our chance to rent our car & get on our way, only to find out that they didn't have enough vehicles to serve "3rd party" bookings easily. After being denied a vehicle & trying multiple times to contact Economy Bookings to get some service (they were closed). One of the largest travel weekends, no one to answer or assist me. We never got a car through them, in fact, after 3 hours of messing with things, we went to Fox Rentals & actually got a vehicle with the same information as I was supposed to use for Economy Bookings! Economy Bookings has refused paying any money back & say they have the right because I didn't pick a car up! What was I supposed to do? If you like being SCAMMED, go ahead & use them.

I showed up at Dollar Rental at DFW as scheduled on May 5,2021. NO CARS were Available. Economybookings OVERBOOKED. It was a Disaster! Many unhappy people including me. No where to go. Almost flew back home.
You have NO idea the Grief they caused. Good luck trying to get your refund. Never again with economybookings!

Rented a car from them. My credit card company charged foreign transaction fee of $18 extra. When I called the company they then admitted their financial company is overseas. On their website it says American company. Very misleading be aware. They need to put on their website this information so that consumers will know their credit card may charge them more.

They stole my money. I never received the car that I rented. The company denied any rental records. Also the phone number provided was out of service

The car was just right for our family of 3. Roomy. Economical. The service was great from picking up the car, to being ready to drive it, great on mileage, so all in all a really good rental company. All checks done and on our way to airport so great service.
After hiring a vehicle to travel in for our two week stay in NZ we were very impressed with our car and service we received when organising this.
Would highly recommend using again.

Easy to book through this website and they match our price to a rental company that fits our price range. Pls Bargain Car Rentals maybe next time can we have a car with no dents or a crack on the windscreen. We will definitely still be booking through here for future rentals :)
I booked a car rental via Economy Bookings, in Los Angeles from December 18,2020 to February 10,2021. This booking was paid in full online before we arrived. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 travel restrictions that the Canadian government (we are Canadian) imposed on all international travel while we were in Los Angeles, we had to return to Canada immediately on February 4th. We returned the car on February 4th to the designated drop off.
I know that Economy Bookings does not do refunds; however, I requested a credit compensation voucher for the remaining 5 days that were paid for but not used, and received the response from Customer Service "... a refund can not be issued for the unused days." After a few emails back and forth that they were looking into the matter, I received an email about 10 days later with the following paragraph...
Unused rental days:
If you have handed over the car earlier than the time indicated on the reservation,
We will consider the possibility of returning funds for unused days in the form of a
Compensation voucher. You can use the voucher to rent a car of any type at any
Place of receipt within 24 months from the date of request.
However, when I asked again about a Compensation Voucher, they emailed me again that I would not receive a refund, even though I wasn't asking for a refund - I was requesting a compensation voucher to use at another time.
All the above is factual and true. I communicated with Customer Service many times and I was basically given the brush off. I will never use Economy Bookings again and if this is how they treat their customers, I strongly suggest that others do not use them either.

I booked a rental car online for a 5 day trip in NZ. They took 50% payment at the time of booking with the remainder due upon pick up. When I arrived at the site to pick up the car there was no record of my booking and no other cars available so I had to return to the Airport and book with another car. I have been trying to contact Economy Bookings to get a refund on my payment. I have emailed and called numerous times but to no avail. They have done a great job of ensuring there is zero support for customers, I would like to know how they took payment, sent me email confirmation of my booking, yet seem to have no record. Beware

I can't can't say that about other rental companies. The bill is detailed and with no hidden fees that are added after you've agreed to a price. Their fleet of cars and SUVs have always met my needs with the newest vehicles.
I particularly like this location. The customer service is great here and they value building relationships. Amar and the other guys are great! I've been renting here for a while and I keep coming back here.
Others requires an upfront deposit that can take up to 7 business days to return on your card. But with this company the rental rewards discount, promo offers are always great.

This EconomyBookings rental company actually surprised me with its super low prices. I online booked the rental last week and guess what these guys are highly professional and very helpful
Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
