We booked EconombyBookings for our trip to Mallorca and thought we had a good deal. We decided to pay extra in EB for Full insurance coverage. We first had to wait more than 80 mins to get a place in the line as many people were there also waiting. We were told that we were not fully covered so either had to pay 1200 EUR for deposit for the car's liabilities or pay 149 EUR for full coverage... after being there for almost one and half hour you just want to leave with the car so we didn't argue that much and the person in OK REntal was very rude... to our surprise we also had to leave deposit for the gas and if the car is returned full then we were "only" gonna be deducted 30 EUR... which was not the deal we thought we got with Economy Bookings... all in all... a terrible experience...

Was able to rent a car through economy bookings for a cheaper price than going direct with rental car company. Only downside is, if you need to return the car somewhere else other than when you bpoked, its hard to do because you rented with a voucher. It happened to me as my mother who was traveling with me, had a heart attack (2 hours from the airport drop off location) while getting ready to return the car. But, I got an understanding manager on the phone at the facility I rented from who allowed me to return the car to annee location, 15 minutes from the hospital my mom was admitted to, instead of having to drive 2 hours to he original drop off location and again back. I would use Economy bookings again.

Decided to rent car on our holiday to Perpignan. When we managed to find the non-existent desk for Sixt rental service our car was not ready nor was it prepared for us.
Apparently, Economy bookings never passed on my details to Sixt company so my car was not ready to be collected at the allotted time. Luckily when I talked to a Sixt representative on the phone, there was one more car available which fit my rental terms. Had they not had that, we would have been stranded with no car to use after having already paid for it.
We were not made aware of this at all prior to collecting the car, thus we assumed everything was in order and went to find our rental as normal.
We were luckily Sixt were good enough to sort us out. If we had unluckily gone with a bad rental company we would have been screwed for sure and most likely had to fork out extra money for a car due to a mistake on Economy bookings behalf and not ours.
If you go with this company, definitely check everything is in order before you head off on your trip.

Horrible service, too long wait times to get to customer service, and they don't follow-up on your complaints/ claims even after you contact them several times. It seems they just tell you to email them and they ignore your emails. I am still waiting and calling to get information on a claim I submitted months ago.

Also my complaint had to do with the fact that their website robbed us of credit card information before giving us the final price of the car we booked and it wasn't even available within a reasonable time so we thought that the booking did not go through.

This company is more trouble than it is worth.
