I have used Kayak for decades, and this was my first time using this site…They definitely scam people! Pretty sure that their customer service agents aren't screened for their jobs. The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. There is NO WAY this place can have any good ratings unless they are rating themselves on their site regularly. I tried to call and change my reservation because there was a blizzard out…and I couldn't make it out to pick up the car that I had already paid for. I requested to change my dates, they said no and then proceeded to say, "no one forced you to book the rental". So when I got mad and responded to what she said, the agent proceeded to act like I was the lunatic…when she was the one who triggered my frustrations with that stupid comment. They are real tough over the phone huh? I'm reporting this place to the BBB, and my bank. Zero Stars. Expensive lesson learned

It's completely misleading! The fee you pay up front is for their reservation service. I paid $125.00 up front for the service of finding me a rental car but none of that money is for the actual rental fee… And it's 100% non-refundable - only a credit towards future use! It's much better to book directly with the car rental company and save yourself a lot of money! Buyer beware!

Made an reservation and arrived at the desk. Our flight hade been delayed so I was at the counter 1hr &5 min later than pickup scheduled.
I was told that the reservation is cancelled after 1 hr(which is Ludacris) when pick up is at an airport!
I then called economy booking for assistance. They told me that any refunds must be handled by email.
So I can't use the same fully coverage insurance to make a new reservation.
And the new offer was twice as costly than the one economy booking canceled without even trying to check why I was late.
Luckily I could use another reliable company to book with
NEVER EVER BOOK THROUGH THIS SCAM COMPANY!

I rented a car on economy booking from priceless my flight was 30 min late they say they have a 24 hour shuttles to pick you up at the airport no shuttle came waited 2 hours at the airport tried to call priceless no answer so the next morning i went to priceless and they said they cancel my reservation due to a no show and refused to reimburse me send a email to support never got a answer i contact visa they will try to help me this is ridiculous never took my rental car and they never reimbursed me how can you take my money and not provide service i will fight till i get my money booking number B*******

If I am able to give them 0 star I would. This company is a scam. We booked a car and paid $326 for the car rental. They said we full in price and would not have to pay additional when pick up. On the day of pick up, we were told to pay $400 extra stating that we only paid for deposit. We talked to the agent and everything and he said he could not help and that we have to contact economybookings.com. That is when I realized this company is so weird because there is no emergency phone number for you to contact. I had to contact them through email and they took more than 1 month to solve my case. And like I predict, they said no refund, claiming that we did not pick up the car.

I tried this company several time and it didn't fail me. The booking process is seamless and the prices are very competitive
I paid for the option to cancel reservation for a full refund but my funds were placed in some wallet for future rentals. I will call customer service to see if this can be rectified.

EconomyBookings offers the so-called "Full Coverage" insurance. This is a fake insurance company. After 65 business days, no response to my claim! Only Boot Aleksandr responded to my previous opinion. If you are looking for insurance that fully covers your own contribution, do not waste your money on Full Coverage provided by BookingGroup. A much better choice is insurance from a trusted company or travel insurance that covers this type of expenses.

Avoid this company at all cost! This has been by far my worst experience with a rental! I have been lied to by one of their agent who assured me that I won't have to pay for insurance if i was able to show a french driver's license. It was all a lie and I ended up paying 1000$. When i reported it to them they admitted lying and filed a case but this was more than a month ago... you cannot talk to anyone about the case and can only use emails to which they never answer. Avoid at all cost!

I am 77. When booking it was not made clear that age was an issue ie age was not requested. Tucked away in the terms and conditions was a note to the effect that the maximum age for booking was 75. It was not however nade clear in the booking process. On receiving the vouchers I read them,recognised the problem, immediately cancelled the booking by phone. They charged me a cancellation charge of £21. However I repeat that age was not mentioned in the booking process only that drivers had to be over a certain age but upper age limit was not mentioned in the booking process, One can see why they have such a low overall scorebooking.

Do not do itWe had to cancel the car due to a cyclone and road flooding for our destination (10 hours into the 48 hour cancellation policy). The phone staff were extremely rude and advised to email. Terms and conditions state: 4.1.6. Depending on the circumstances surrounding the cancellation, the Company might offer additional BookingCredit on top of the original amount paid for the canceled booking.
A cyclone and flooding, despite this not being a covered event in the insurance they offer, is not a circumstance to which they offer a credit... I wonder what it?

First there was no shuttle at the Miami airport to the rental spot, as promised. We had to pay $20 cab ride instead. Once at the pick-up garage, there was no rental car there for us. The pickup location was a scam staffed by a kid, as they had no vehicle but told us they could get one for extra money. We had to go back to the airport and rent a car from Hertz instead. Yet we have still been charged by Economy Bookings. We are filing a contesting it with our credit card company. Bienvenidos a Miami indeed

Don't fall for this SCAM. This company will sell you a WORTHLESS insurance coverage they call "FULL COVERAGE" that is NOT worth the paper it is written on. This "FULL COVERAGE" will NOT be honored or accepted by the third party rental car company. You will learn you paid for a WORTHLESS insurance at the time you try to pickup your rental and even if you cancel your reservation before the rental pickup you will NOT be refunded for this worthless insurance.

Although we had hoped to get a RAV4, we ended up with a Nissan Rogue which turned out to be a good selection for our overnight trip. The booking was easy and cost effective.
On dec 16th we were supposed to pick up our car in Iceland at 15:00... the car had been rented the day an paid for the day before. At 15:22 we got an email saying the reservation was cancelled! We called them and we were told that "due to a technical error the booking had to be cancelled", no alternative given. This company is horrible, do not use.

Doesn't let you change your pick up or drop off time once booked. They ask you to cancel for credit that expires. There is no 'money back garante' as they invalidate it in the small print.

This company is a Scam, I was never able to pick up the vehicle from the rent a car, they did not answer the phone when I had the problem and then they told me that they could not do the refound for me because it was out of time, even when I sent an email to the company immediately.
Please do not make the mistake of using this service, it is terrible, they leave you with nothing and do not respond.

Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
